영원한 구원의 근원 (히5:8-10)
서론
여러분들이 금방 RUTC 뉴스를 보셨다. 류서빈이라는 렘넌트가 미스코리아에 나가게 되었다. 류서빈은 류광수 목사님 손녀딸이다. 이것을 보면서 제가 여러가지 생각을 했다. 지금 미스코리아 나온 후보중에서 인기투표에서 2위를 달리고 있다고 한다. 그래서 아마 좋은 성적이 기대되고 있다. 저는 그것을 보면서 언약잡은 전도자에게 주시는 축복이라는 생각이 들었다. 되어지는 축복이다.
마 6:33 그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
우리가 오직 예수를 붙들고 그의 나라와 의를 구할 때는 하나님께서는 우리가 기도하지 않은 것 까지도 응답해주시는 축복을 주신다. 여기 앉아계시는 모든 언약가진 전도자들에게도 똑같은 축복이 일어나게될 줄로 믿는다. 또 이미 받고계시는 과정 가운데 계신다. 우리는 축복 받을 수 밖에 없는 귀한 자녀들이다. 오늘 말씀 보겠다.
1. 순종하신 그리스도
1) 순종하신 아들
지난 시간에 우리가 7절 말씀에서 봤습니다만 예수님께서는 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가시기 이전에 심한 통곡과 눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸다고 말씀하셨다. 예수님께서 우리가 당하는 저주와 재앙을 해결하시기 위해서 하나님 앞에 무릎을 꿇으시고 심한 통곡과 간구를 통해서 기도하셨던 것이다. 그래서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가시게 되었다.
히 5:8 그가 아들이시면서도 받으신 고난으로 순종함을 배워서
아들이면서 그랬다는 것은 원래 하나님의 아들은 고난 받으실 이유가 하나도 없는 것이다. 그 어마어마하고 영광 받으시기에 합당하신 그 분께서 고난을 받으셨다. 그런데 그 이유가 뭐냐하니까 받으신 고난으로 순종함을 배웠다고 말씀하고 있다. 하나님의 아들께서 고난을 통해서 순종을 배웠다는 말씀이 무슨 뜻인가. 순종함을 배웠다는 것은 죽기까지 복종하시면서 고난과 죽음을 체험하신 것이다. 이 죽기까지 복종했다는 것은 하나님의 뜻과 계획과 말씀을 순종하는 것이다. 마 26:53-54은 예수님께서 체포되기 직전에 군인들이 오니까 베드로가 칼을 빼들고 막았다. 그 때 예수님께서 베드로를 말리시면서 하신 말씀이다.
마 26:53-54 너는 내가 내 아버지께 구하여 지금 열두 군단 더 되는 천사를 보내시게 할 수 없는 줄로 아느냐 54 내가 만일 그렇게 하면 이런 일이 있으리라 한 성경이 어떻게 이루어지겠느냐 하시더라
예수님은 원래 하늘에 있는 열두 군단이 더 되는 천사를 명령할 수 있는 권세가 있는 만왕의 왕 되신 분이다. 그런 어마어마한 권세와 능력이 있으신 주님께서 하시는 말씀이 만일 그렇게 하기되면 이런 일이 있으리라 한 성경이 어떻게 이루어지겠느냐는 것이다. 인간의 모든 죄를 짊어지신 예수님께서 십자가에 못박혀 죽으셔야만이 모든 저주와 재앙이 해결된다는 것을 아시기 때문에 이것을 이루셔야하는 것이다. 그래서 주님께서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가시면서 모든 문제를 해결하셨다.
2) 구원의 근원자
히 5:9 온전하게 되셨은즉 자기에게 순종하는 모든 자에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되시고
십자가를 통해서 온전하게 되었다는 것이다. 모든 것이 이루어졌다는 것이다. 여기서 말씀하시기를 모든 자에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되셨다고 나온다. 예수님께서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가시면서 영원한 구원의 근원이 되신 것이다. 구원을 성취시킨 주인공이 되신 것이다. 누가 구원을 받는가. 자기에게 순종하는 모든 자는 구원받는다는 것이다. 여기서 순종이라는 것은 예수님을 믿고 따르는 것을 말한다. 그러니까 예수님을 믿는 자는 구원을 받게된다는 것이다. 예수님을 믿기만 하면 구원받는다는 것은 예수님은 구원의 근원자이시기 때문이다. 예수님은 우리 구원의 근원자 되시는 분이다. 그 키가 예수님이기 때문에 믿기만 하면 구원받는 귀중한 답이 예수님에게 달렸다는 것이다. 하늘과 땅의 어떤 존재도 구원의 근원자는 없다. 예수님만 구원의 근원 되시는 분이다. 그래서 우리는 예수님을 참된 선지자라고 이야기한다.
3) 멜기세덱의 반차
히 5:10 하나님께 멜기세덱의 반차를 따른 대제사장이라 칭하심을 받으셨느니라
아론 후손과는 다른 멜기세덱의 서열을 따라서 되셨다고 한다.
시 110:4 여호와는 맹세하고 변하지 아니하시리라 이르시되 너는 멜기세덱의 서열을 따라 영원한 제사장이라 하셨도다
이 말씀이 언제 선포되었냐면 예수님이 태어나시기 천 년 전에, 다윗 시절에 아론의 후손들이 대제사장을 하고 있을 때에 이미 하나님께서는 다윗을 통해서 예언하셨다. 아들을 향해 너는 멜기세덱을 따를 대제사장이다 하고 임명하신 것이다. 그 임명하신 것이 오늘 자세히 나타나있다. 하나님께 멜기세덱의 반차를 따른 대제사장이라 칭하심을 받으셨다고 나온다. 하나님께 아들이 대제사장이라는 직분을 직접 받으신 것이다. 아론의 후손과는 틀리게 직접 희생제물이 되서 바치는 것을 나타낸다. 그렇게 해야만이 창 3:15이 성취되는 것이다. 그래서 십자가에서 이것을 완성시키신 것이다. 십자가에서 돌아가시면서 뜻을 이루신 이유가 계시록에 나타난다.
계 1:6 그의 아버지 하나님을 위하여 우리를 나라와 제사장으로 삼으신 그에게 영광과 능력이 세세토록 있기를 원하노라 아멘
예수님께서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가심으로 말미암아 아버지 하나님을 위해서 우리를 제사장 삼으시기 위해서 그렇게 하셨다는 것이다. 저주와 재앙 가운데 살다가 영원히 지옥에 갈 수 밖에 없는 연약한 우리를 부르셔서 대세자상의 나라와 직분을 감당하기 위해서 그 모든 일을 하셨다는 것이다. 하나님께서 예수님을 대제사장으로 임명하신 것 처럼 우리도 하나님의 나라와 대제사장으로 임명하신 것이다. 예수님이 그리스도의 왕, 선지자, 제사장 직분을 행하신 것 처럼 구원받은 우리도 왕, 제사장, 선지자의 직분을 받았다는 것이다. 우리는 연약하고 아무것도 아닌데 하나님께서 그리스도를 완성시킴으로서 우리에게 능력을 주셨다. 왜 그런가. 이 세상을 치유하기 위함이다.
2. 세상 치유
1) "Nobody" - Covenant
저는 계속 기도수첩을 보면서 이것을 확실하게 요약해서 전해야겠다는 마음이 들었다. 세상 치유를 하는데 있어서 다섯가지 비밀을 나누기 바란다. 우리가 Nobody의 사실을 붙잡아야한다. 지금 우리가 살고있는 세상의 사람들은 많은 고통 속에서 살고있다. 자꾸만 어려움이 온다. 지금 이 기록을 보게되니까 전 세계가 코로나 때문에 고통받고 있는데 약 3천 4백만명이 코로나 환자라고 한다. 죽은 사람이 백만명이라고 한다. 지금 눈에 보이지 않는 조그만 균 때문에 백반명이라는 사람이 몇개월만에 죽었다. 미국만해도 7백만명이 걸렸다. 20만명이 죽었다. 아무것도 아닌 것 같은 병에 수 많은 사람이 죽었다. 그 원인이 무엇인가. 지금 우리가 이것을 영적인 눈으로 보는 것이 중요하다. 많은 사람들은 백신을 만든다, 약을 만든다 하면서 갖은 노력을 하고 있다. 우리도 그것을 기다리고 있다. 그런데 사실 이거는 그런 식으로는 해결되지 않는다. 백신이 나오면 다신 이런 위험이 안 생길 것 같은가? 또 다른 병이 나온 것이다. 근본적으로 이 문제는 흑암의 역사 때문에 일어난 것을 붙잡아야한다. 이 흑암세력은 우리 인간을 저주와 재앙 속으로 몰고가는 것이 목적이다. 모든 근본적인 문제는 우리 신자들 입장에서 본다면 교회 책임인 것이다. 교회가 제대로 복음을 잡지 않고 놓치게 되면 세상이 어려움을 당한다. 복음가진 저와 여러분들은 영적인 눈을 뜨고 있기 때문에 잘 알고있다. 개인도 복음이 없으면 점점 자기도 모르게 이상하게 문제가 생긴다. 뿐만 아니라 가문도 이상하게 일이 막히고 안된다. 그리스도가 없게되면 흑암이 공격할 수 밖에 없다. 우리가 잘 알고있다. 국가가 복음을 제대로 받아들이고 전도에 힘쓰는 나라들은 다 잘되었다. 많은 사람들은 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 많은 방법을 찾는다. 그런데 그리스도 외에는 그 누구도 해결할 수 없다. 바로 그게 Nobody인 것이다. 방법은 한가지 밖에 없다. 그것이 바로 복음이다. 복음을 잡게되면 하나님께서 역사하신다.
갈 2:20 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라
그리스도가 나의 주인이 되는 순간에 나의 모든 것은 죽게된다. 예수 그리스도가 믿어지는 순간에 흑암이 무너진다. 나를 장악하고 있던 흑암이 그 순간에 무너진다. 이것이 영적인 사실이다. 그 이후의 삶은 내가 사는 것이 아니라 내 안에 계신 그리스도가 나를 인도하시는 삶이다. 그러므로 우리 복음을 잡는 것이 중요하다.
2) "No Way" – Vision
두번째는 No Way이다. No Way라는 것은 사람들은 전부 혼란 가운데 빠져있다는 것이다. 수 많은 사람들이 헤매고 있다. 세상은 폭력, 중독, 마약으로 뭐가 뭔지 모른다. 왜 그렇게 사람들이 헤매로 있는가. 나갈 방법을 모르는 것이다. 그들은 방법을 찾고 길을 찾기 위해서 스스로 노력한다. 더 심각하게 빠진다. 바로 그것이 No Way인 것이다. 하나님께서는 우리를 나라와 제사장으로 삼으신 이유가 너희들이 가서 소망을 주고 비전을 주라는 것이다. 우리가 이 비전을 잡아야한다. 이 비전을 어떻게 잡는가. 영적 예배를 통해서 비전을 발견할 수 있다. 영적 예배를 통해서 하나님의 절대 계획을 발견할 수 있게된다.
롬 12:1-2 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적 예배니라 2 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라
우리가 하나님만 바라보면서 영적 예배를 드릴 때 나타나는 축복이 2절에 나타난다. 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받게된다는 것이다. 선하시고 기뻐하시는 뜻이 무엇인지 분별할 수 있게된다. 그렇기 때문에 예배를 통해서 절대 계획이 보이는 것이다. 우리가 이 답을 그들에게 주어야한다.
3) "No Time" - Dream
세번째는 No Time이다. 많은 사람들이 혼란 속에 살아가고있다. 문제는 무기력, 무능 속으로 빠진다는 것이다. 사람이 무기력하고 무능해지면 희망이 없어지고 꿈이 사라지고 미래가 없어진다. 바로 그것이 No Time이다. 이 때 언약잡은 우리에게 하나님이 주시는 축복은 나라와 제사장을 삼으신 주님께서 그 누구도 모르는 시간표를 주신다. 언약 안에서 기도를 누리는 가운데 희망의 빛이 나타난다. 그 가운데에서 누리는 것이 바로 참된 Dream이다.
행 20:24 내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라
희망이 없고 꿈이 없고 미래가 없는 그들에게 희망의 복음을 증거해야하는 것이다. 이럴 때 그들이 살아난다. 복음을 듣는 순간에 은혜가 들어가게된다. 그러면 그들에게 희망이 생긴다. 그러면 이런 사명을 받은 우리는 어떻게 해야하는가.
왕하 2:9 건너매 엘리야가 엘리사에게 이르되 나를 네게서 데려감을 당하기 전에 내가 네게 어떻게 할지를 구하라 엘리사가 이르되 당신의 성령이 하시는 역사가 갑절이나 내게 있게 하소서 하는지라
엘리사 처럼 당신의 성령이 하시는 역사가 갑절이 있도록 기도해야된다. 24시 이 속으로 들어가야만이 세상을 살릴 수 있다.
4) "Nowhere" – Image
네번째는 Nowhere이다. 세상은 심각하게 병들었다. 육신적인 질병에 시달리고 정신적으로, 영적으로 많은 사람들이 시달리고 있다. 너무나 시달려서 인생을 포기하는 사람들도 많다. 우리가 잘 아는 바와 마찬가지로 정신 질환자는 엄청난 속도로 증가하고 있다. 이것의 해답을 찾지 못하고 있다. 어떤 방법을 써도 해답이 보이지 않는다. 바로 그것이 Nowhere이다. 길거리에서 아무 상관도 없는 여자를 때려죽이기도 한다. 쳐다봤다고 와서 칼로 찔러죽인다. 이 사람들을 어떻게 살리는가. 살릴 수 있는 길은 오직 하나, 복음 밖에 없다. 그렇기 때문에 롬 14:8을 붙잡아야한다.
롬 14:8 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로다
이들을 살릴 수 있는 방법은 하나님의 형상인 그리스도만을 붙잡고 따라갈 수 밖에 없다. 그 누가 뭐라고 해도 우리 생명은 주님 것이다. 내가 더 살고 싶다고 해서 더 살아지는 게 아니다. 주님이 오라고 하면 끝나는 것이다. 어차피 그렇다면 사나 죽으나 주님을 위해서 사는 것이 가장 행복한 것이다. 가장 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 고백이 나는 주님 것입니다, 마음대로 사용해주세요 하는 것이다. 주님 따라가는 것이다. 이 때 모든 삶이 살아난다. 언약을 따라서 말씀을 붙잡고 누릴 때 그들에게 치유가 일어난다. 어디에서도 줄 수 없는 답을 우리는 줄 수 있게된다.
5) "No Answer" – Practice
다섯번째는 No Answer이다. 우리가 언약의 흐름을 따라가면 반드시 오는 것이 전도의 누림이다. 왜 그런가. 하나님께서 작품을 만드시기 때문이다. 이 답 없는 인간들에게 답을 주는 것이다. 하나님의 언약 속에 들어가면 어떤 일이 생긴다 하는 것을 깨닫게 되는 것이다. 고통받는 이웃이나 나라를 위해서 정확한 답을 주는 것이다.
렘 33:2-3 일을 행하시는 여호와, 그것을 만들며 성취하시는 여호와, 그의 이름을 여호와라 하는 이가 이와 같이 이르시도다. 3 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라
이 말씀을 붙들고 여러분들이 기도하시게 되면 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라고 약속하고 계신다. 우리 하나님은 절대로 약속을 어기는 분이 아니다. 여러분들이 기도할 때마다 은밀한 일이 최고의 작품으로 나타날 줄로 믿는다.
결론
빌 1:6 너희 안에서 착한 일을 시작하신 이가 그리스도 예수의 날까지 이루실 줄을 우리는 확신하노라
분명히 붙잡으시기 바란다. 우리는 이미 하나님께서 착한 일을 하시기 위해 부르셨다. 우리를 통해서 이웃이 살고 달라스가 살고 미국이 사는 역사가 나타날 줄로 믿는다. 언제까지 그럴 것인가. 예수님 만날 때 까지. 큰 응답받는 여러분 되시기를 예수님이 이름으로 축원한다.
The Source of Eternal Salvation (Hebrews 5:8-10)

“ 8 Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 10 called by God as High Priest 'according to the order of Melchizedek.' ”
Introduction
I am sure you watched the Remnant Unity Training Center (RUTC) news and there was a remnant, Jessica Ryu, who appeared as one of the contestants of Miss Korea. I am sure you know of her but she is the granddaughter of Rev. Kwang-su Ryu. When I saw this, many thoughts came to mind. As you saw, one of the contestants of Miss Korea, she placed second on the popularity voting. I am hoping for good results. When I saw this, I realized that this is the blessings that are given to those who are evangelists. These are the rightful blessings. Matthew 6:33 ("But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ") - When we hold onto only Christ and seek God’s kingdom then God will answer us answers that we didn’t even expect or ask for. When I saw this, I hope that all of our church congregation will receive these blessings as well. Also, we are already in the process of receiving these answers. We are precious children of God who have no choice but to receive blessings.
1. The Obedient Christ
1) The Obedient Son
Last week we discussed that before Jesus Christ died on the cross, He shed tears of agony and suffered greatly. In order to solve the curses of mankind, He knelt before God and prayed a heart wrenching prayer. And, He was obedient to death and died on the cross.
Verse 8 - As a Son of God, there was no reason for Him to suffer. He was supposed to be a being who received glory but yet, He suffered. The reason for this was because He suffered so that He could be obedient. Through His suffering, He learned obedience. What does this mean? Learning obedience means that He was obedient towards death, which meant that He experienced death. The fact that He was obedient towards death means that He was obedient towards God till death.
Matthew 26:53-54 (“Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? 54 How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?”) - This scripture’s content was when Jesus Christ was getting captured by one of the soldiers and Peter cut off one of the ears of the soldiers but Jesus stopped Peter. What kind of person was Jesus? He was a being who had the power and authority to completely control and move the entire armies of angels of heaven. This being, Jesus, who had all of this power, had the ability to stop His capture from happening but He asked Peter how He could fulfill the scriptures if He stopped this? Jesus had to die on the cross to solve and forgive the sins and curses of mankind so He knew that He had to die on the cross. We all know that through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, He was able to completely free and solve the sins and problems of mankind.
2) The source of salvation
Verse 9 - Through the cross, Jesus became perfected which means that He completed all things. “He became the author of eternal salvation” - Through the cross, Jesus died and became the author of eternal salvation. He is the One who perfected salvation for us. Who can receive salvation? Those who are obedient to Him will receive salvation. Obedience is referring to believing and following Jesus. Those who believe in Jesus will receive salvation. If you just believe in Jesus, then you will be saved but what does this mean? This is possible because Jesus is the author of eternal salvation. Jesus is the author of our eternal salvation. Jesus’ blood gave us salvation so if we just believe, then we will be granted eternal salvation. No other being or person on Earth can be the author of salvation, only Jesus is the author of eternal salvation. That is why we call Jesus Christ our True Priest.
3) The Order of Melchizedek
Verse 10 - Melchizedek was different from the lineage of Aaron.
Psalm 110:4 (“He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.”) - This word was fulfilled before Jesus Christ was born, during the time of King David. It was during the time when Aaron’s descendants were serving as the high priests, this message was prophesied to David. Through the Son, Jesus, it was already prophesied that Jesus will be appointed to come as the eternal Priest though the line of Melchizedek. Jesus was already appointed through the order of Melchizedek. This means that Jesus already received the appointment as the High Priest, before He came to Earth.
Melchizedek was different from the lineage of Aaron. It was different from Aaron’s descendants, Jesus Christ would become the ultimate, direct sacrifice. Only through this was the covenant of Genesis 3:15* fulfilled that the head of the serpent will be crushed. This covenant was fulfilled when Jesus died on the cross.
Revelation 1:6 (“And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”) - This explains why Jesus had to die on the cross. Through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, He was able to make us into kings and priests for God and His kingdom. We used to live bound under the chains of hell and death but Jesus called us out so that we can carry out the roles of kings and priests. Just like how God appointed Jesus as the Priest, we also have been appointed to become priests and kings for the sake of God’s kingdom. Jesus fulfilled the role as the Christ and fulfilled the roles as the True Priest, King, and Prophet but we also received the blessing to be called as a king, prophet, and priest. We may be weak and lacking but our Lord, God gave us that power as well just like Jesus was appointed as the Priest, Prophet, and King. Why is that? This is so that we can heal the world.
I am continuing to read the Remnant Prayer Journal messages but this message content kept appearing and I had the heart that I needed to relay this message to you. There are five mysteries on how to heal this world and I want to share this through this message.
Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
2. Healing the World
1) "Nobody" - Covenant
We need to hold onto the truth of nobody. This world that we are living in, many people are living in suffering. Problems continue to come to mankind. As I saw the record and statistical data, many people are suffering due to COVID-19 but there are approximately 34 million infected and approximately 1 million recorded deaths. Because of this small virus that we cannot even see with our bare eyes, this is how many people have killed. There are about 7 million infected in America and 200,000 recorded deaths. This small virus is causing such detrimental effects on mankind. What is the reason for all of this?
It is important for us to see this with our spiritual eyes. People are trying to solve this problem by creating a vaccine and through different medical interventions but realistically speaking, this virus will not be simply cured and solved through these methods. Even if we get a vaccine, do you think more problems will not come in the future? Even if a vaccine appears for COVID-19, another virus will appear again. Fundamentally speaking, this problem arose because of spiritual darkness. This darkness has bought suffering, death, and curses upon mankind. The fundamental reason for all mankind’s problems can be seen as a responsibility of the church. This is a church’s problem. If the church loses hold of the gospel and does not hold onto it correctly, then problems have no choice but to come to the world. We who have the gospel are able to open our spiritual eyes and see this. Individually speaking, if you lose hold of the gospel then you will turn more strange and suffer in the future. Not only that but if your family line loses hold of the gospel, then problems will continue to come upon your family line. If there is no Christ, then darkness has no choice but to attack. We know this very well but if the nation is able to hold onto the gospel and participate in evangelism and missions, then great blessings and prosperity has no choice but to come upon that nation. Many people try to solve their problems with worldly methods but with these methods, they cannot solve it no matter what they do.
This is what I mean by nobody. The answer is only one answer. The answer is the gospel. When you hold onto the gospel then God will work.
Galatians 2:20 (“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”) - When Jesus becomes your master, then everything else becomes vain. The moment you believe in Jesus, the darkness will break down and flee. The darkness that was bound within you will be broken down. This is the spiritual truth. The life that you live is no longer yours but will become a life that will be led by God. That is why it is so important for you to hold onto the gospel.
2) "No Way" - Vision
“No way” is referring to people who are living in confusion and are lost. So many people are wondering in this world. The world is falling deeper into the acts of violence, drugs, and addiction but things are getting worse and worse. Why are people wondering in this world? It is because people don’t know the method to live and cannot find the solutions. They are wondering, trying to find a sense of direction and solutions to their lives but things are only getting more difficult and severe. This is what we mean by no way. The reason why God has called us as the kings and priests is so that we can give people a sense of direction and vision. We need to hold onto the vision. How can we hold onto the vision? This vision can be restored and given through spiritual worship. Through spiritual worship you can discover God’s absolute plan.
Romans 12:1-2 (“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”) - When we look up to God and give spiritual worship then these are the blessings that will be given to us. It said that we can be transformed by allowing renewal of our minds and we can prove what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God. Through worship, we can see God’s absolute plan. We need to give this answer to other people.
3) "No Time" - Dream
Many people are living in confusion. The problem is that people have fallen into lethargy and powerlessness. When people become lethargic and powerless, they lose hold of their dream and hope. This is what we mean by “no time”. There is a covenant that God wants us to hold onto. God wants us to hold onto the time schedule that God has given to no one else but to us as His kings and priests. God will grant us the light of hope and dream. Within this, we can enjoy the true dream.
Acts 20:24 (“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”) - We need to save the people of this world who have no dream, hope, and future. We can revive them. The moment they hear the word of God, they will receive grace and find hope and the dream. Then, what is the mission that God has given to us?
2 Kings 2:9 (“And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, 'Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?' Elisha said, 'Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.' ”) - We must pray the prayer of Elijah to receive the double portion of the Spirit. We need to enter into 24 hours with this. Then, we can save the world.
4) "Nowhere" - Image
When we look at the world, many people are diseased. They are suffering from mental and physical diseases. They are so afflicted that they give up. We know very well but there are so many people who are mentally suffering and the number of mental patients are increasing in this world. But people can’t find solutions to this no matter what they do or what kind of methods they use. This is what we mean by “no where”. There are people who go around and just start beating up random people for no reason. Just because you stare at people, people will shoot or kill you. How can we save these people and people of this world? The method to save these people is through the gospel alone.
Because of this, we need to absolutely hold onto Romans 14:8 (“For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”) - The method to save people is helping these people to hold onto Christ and follow the image of God. No matter what people say, our lives belong to God. Just because you want to live longer, you can’t live longer but the moment God calls you, your life is over. If that is so, the way to live the most happy lives is when we know that our lives belong to God whether we live or die. The most happy confession that we can give to God is to give our lives to God whether we live or die. When we make this confession, then we will start to change. When we enjoy the word of God, we can heal others. We can give answers that no one else can give.
5) "No Answer" - Practice
When we follow the flow of the covenant, there is something that will come which is the enjoyment of evangelism. Why is that? This is because God made a masterpiece. We as mankind who have no answers are able to give the answer to this world. When we enter into God’s covenant, then we can find the answers that we can find nowhere else. We can give the answer to the people and nations who are suffering.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 (“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ ”) - When we hold onto this message and pray, then God promised that He will answer and give you great and unsearchable things that we do not know. Our God is not a God who doesn’t break promises. When we pray then great and unsearchable things will come to us as great masterpieces.
Conclusion
Hold onto Philippians 1:6 (“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”) - You need to absolutely hold onto. God has called us so that He can do good work through us. Through us, our lives, Dallas, and America will live. Until when? Until the day we meet Jesus Christ. May you receive great and tremendous answers in the name of Jesus Christ.
