The Covenant Journey (Galatians 2:20)

Introduction
I assume that you have already listened to the World Remnant Conference (WRC) messages and I also listened to them with my wife, and I received a lot of grace. I continued to re-listen to them every morning and I am so thankful that such an evangelist, Rev. Kwang-su Ryu exists. I am more thankful that our remnants will become the historical remnants to save the DFW metroplex. I truly believe that our remnants will become the servants of God who will serve God the most. I always boast to other people about our remnants because our remnants are like no other. I have been meditating deeply regarding my personal covenant journey for a year now. I continued to mention continuously regarding the five points of the covenant, vision, dream, image, and practice (CVDIP) and the five Bible verses following each one, and I have been receiving a lot of blessings from them from God. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I proclaim to myself the 1, 3, and 5 minute basic salvation message (BSM), memorize Bible verses, and pray with the covenantal message. Whenever I do this, I receive great grace from God. I am not sure if you are able to experience this yourself but if you are able to, we can receive great grace from God. That is why it is so important for us to experience and pray with the covenant journey. May you hold onto your own covenant journey and receive great answers. I look forward to your future and if you hold onto the covenant journey, then you will receive the answer of becoming the spiritual, skill, and cultural summits. I have been holding onto this especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and I am receiving great grace. I am sure you have been holding onto them as well but may you hold onto this again and gain great prayer topics. You can hold onto the same Bible verses that I am holding onto or you can hold onto your own and pray with them. Those who haven’t found theirs yet, pray to discover them. You may hold onto different Biblical scriptures but pray that you may share the same heart as me.
1. Covenant
I mentioned this during the pulpit message today but you need to hold onto the Word of God as your covenant. Genesis 27:1-11* - Joseph was able to hold onto his dream as his covenant. Moses was able to hold onto the covenant of going into the land of Canaan that his mother told him about that God gave to his mother. What is important is that when Joseph and Moses held onto their covenants, whenever problems came, nothing posed as a problem for them and there was nothing for them to worry about. God prepared everything perfectly for both Moses and Joseph. This is very important. Those who hold onto the covenant as spoken in today’s message, God has prepared great works through His absolute sovereignty. I am holding onto Galatians 2:20 as my personal covenant. The reason is because within my heart, I want to fulfill Galatians 2:20 (“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”) within my life. The reason why I am holding onto Galatians 2:20 wholeheartedly is because it says that I have been crucified with Christ. When I hold onto Christ, then the problems that I have not been able to solve, God was able to solve them all and I can discover this through this scripture. What is absolute is that my fate has been changed. No matter what other people may say, I have been moved from being a child of the devil to a child of God. Through the death on the cross, Jesus Christ has changed my fate. All of the sins that I have committed ever since I was young, that have been completely crucified on the cross and have been solved completely. I have assurance of this. All of the problems of my family line and children, they have all been crucified on the cross. How thankful am I for this? How was God able to save me and solve all of my problems once and for all? Satan who once controlled and bound me no longer has power over me because I am aware now that God has liberated me. The fact that I have been crucified on the cross with Christ, this means that I no longer live but Christ lives in me. I live through faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. What is absolute and I believe that Jesus Christ has fulfilled His work as the Christ on the cross to be with me. I believe in the Christ who completely resolved and broke the powers of Satan. I believe that all of my curses have been broken. I believe that I have been liberated from the fate and destiny of hell. Do you believe in this? I believe that you believe in this and have assurance of this. You have died. You are now living in the faith that Jesus Christ lives and dwells in you. Whenever problems come, have the blessing to confess that your problems are no longer a problem and they have been completely solved already. Whenever I am reminded of this, I am so moved. I always confess of the covenant that God is always guiding me and reminding me to hold onto the covenant.
Genesis 27:1-11* “Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2 This is the history of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father. 3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors. 4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. 5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, 'Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.' 8 And his brothers said to him, 'Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?' So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, 'Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.' 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, 'What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?' 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.”
2. Vision (Romans 12:1-2)
I am holding onto Romans 12:1-2 (“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”) as my vision. Vision is referring to the covenant that has been given to the children of God. The vision that I held onto is that above all else, I need to have success in worship. I held onto this verse because I need to have victory in worship before I can give God’s Word to you all. This is because God is pleased when we give ourselves to Him as a living sacrifice. I want to give myself to God as a sacrifice. In the Old Testament, animal sacrifices were given to cleanse the sins of man and Jesus Christ bore all of our sins and died on the cross. Because Jesus Christ came as our ultimate sacrifice, we are able to continue to live on this earth. Then, how must we live on this earth? Whenever we come before God, we need to come before God as honest as we possibly can and give ourselves exactly as we are to God. We are offering ourselves as exactly as it says in Galatians 2:20. We need to love God with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. I am praying for this. I can’t explain how much strength God has given me. I can feel God giving me strength and power during times of worship and prayer. I pray that you may receive the same answers.
3. Dream (Acts 20:24)
Pastor Ryu said our posture is important when describing our dream. When holding onto our dream, we need to find our direction through the gospel, prayer, and evangelism. That is why I held onto Acts 20:24 (“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”) as my Bible verse for my dream. God’s mission is to make disciples of all nations and for us to become God’s witnesses till the ends of the earth. For this to happen, we must stake our lives. We need to pray this prayer every single day. Pray that none of our prayer topics will fall into the ground and you can become a witness of these Bible verses. Pray that you can become a servant who can stake your life for the gospel movement. Then, God will give you great grace. You need to hold onto this as your absolute covenant. Make this is your mission and pray with it.
4. Image (Romans 14:8)
The 3 organizations are conquering the world right now and their powers are growing each day. But through this, we need to see the direction. Through this direction, we can see the answers and path that God has prepared for us. Through this path, we need to see the answer of conquest. Hold onto this and pray. When you do this, then God will prepare the answer of 25-hours. Then, you can enter into the absolute journey. Through the WRC messages, may you re-listen to them. Within my covenant journey, the image that I am holding onto is Romans 14:8 (“For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”). If we live, we need to live for God’s glory. If we die, we need to die for God’s glory. If we do this, then God will bless us. As I said in the pulpit message, if we are able to enter into only Jesus Christ, then that is the start of all blessings. We cannot put our focus elsewhere, if we hold onto only Christ, then God will open all doors. There is something that we need to always pray with. I always pray to God that whether I live or die, let me live and die for God’s glory. I want to die while giving glory to God. I pray that you may pray the same prayer. This is because you belong to God. I am thankful that I belong to God. Before this, I belonged to Satan but through the grace of the cross, I have become God’s. The fact that I have become God’s, this means that God can do whatever He wants with me. I pray that God will do whatever he wants with me and will be pleased with me. We can’t tell our master what to do. I pray that God can use me to His greatest heart’s content. This is how you hold onto only Jesus Christ. When you hold onto this, then God will use you greatly. I believe that God has prepared great answers and blessings for you. I am sure that you will be used greater than Moses and Joseph. Receive answers in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Practice (Jeremiah 33:2-3)
I held onto Jeremiah 33:2-3 (“Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”) for my practice. No matter what problems or situations come to us, God will guide you perfectly and fulfill His will. God’s absolute will happen. This is because God who is our master controls all things. You should be thankful for all the things that happened in your life because through all those things, you can confess that God allowed everything to happen for a reason. No matter what problems or situations come to us, we need to think of them as answers. Then, the answer of nobody will come to you. I believe that this will be true for you. When you hold onto this as your covenant, then the answer of masterpiece will be granted to you by God. God said for us to call upon to Him and He will give us great and unexpected answers. I believe that God will grant us great answers. Our hearts need to be centered on Christ. When we live like this, then God will give us all things and open all doors for us. How thankful are we for this? When David held onto Christ, he received the tremendous answer to become king. Just like Joseph, Moses, and Daniel, whenever they held onto Christ, they received the greatest answers. My friend was a CEO of a mall and after he accepted Christ, he said that he discovered the value of Christ. Even though he was the CEO of a mall, he said that he was envious of me. I am sure you will receive tremendous blessings. We are already in a place and seat of great answers. When you stake your life to live for Christ alone, then God will open all doors. I tell you of this with great assurance, I have experienced God’s great blessings and answers as I have been holding onto these points. I pray that you will receive these same answers. Hold onto the five points of the CVDIP and when you hold onto them, then God will give you great and tremendous answers.
렘넌트 헌신예배 – 언약의 여정 (갈 2:20)
반갑습니다. 잠시 기도하고 시작하겠다.
하나님 감사합니다. 사랑하는 렘넌트들 이렇게 반가운 마음으로 얼굴을 대할 수 있도록 축복하시니 감사합니다. 렘넌트를 두손들어 축복해주옵소서. 세상을 살릴 수 있는 영적서밋의 축복을 마음껏 부어주옵시고 세상에서도 가장 뛰어난 기능서밋의 축복도 허락해주시고 세상을 바꿀 수 있는 문화서밋이 될 수 있도록 은혜내려주시옵소서. 오늘 언약의 여정에대한 말씀을 받기 소원합니다. 성령께서 충만하게 역사하여 주시옵소서. 감사드리며 살아계신 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
이번에 WRC 메세지를 다 들은 줄로 안다. 나도 사모하고 같이 들었는데 아주 은혜를 많이 받았다. 계속 말씀을 들었다. 우리에게 그런 전도자가 계신 것이 참으로 감사했다. 무엇보다도 우리 달라스 임마누엘 교회 렘넌트들이 시대적인 응답을 받았으면 좋겠다 하는 마음이 들었다. 무엇보다도 우리 렘넌트들이 세상에서 가장 주님앞에 쓰임받는 종들인 줄로 안다. 어디를 가던지 우리 렘넌트들을 자랑한다. 언약의 여정을 이렇게 말씀을 붙들고 기도한지가 1년이 넘는다. 그리고 지금 제가 설교에서도 몇 번 얘기했던 성경구절 다섯가지로 계속 기도하는데 하나님꼐서 얼마나 큰 은혜를 베풀어주시는지 모른다. 지금도 이 말씀을 붙들고 아침에 일어나자마자 구원의 길 1, 3, 5분을 하고 성구암송 100구절을 하고 그 당므에 언약의 여정을 한 시간동안 기도한다. 그럴 때 마다 하나님께서 주시는 은혜가 너무나 큰 것을 느낀다. 여러분들이 느끼고 있는지 몰라도 나 자신은 굉장히 하나님께 은혜를 받고있다. 그래서 정말 이 언약의 여정을 기도하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 체험하고 있다. 여러분들도 이 언약의 여정을 잡고 기도해서 큰 응답받기를 기도한다. 여러분들이 장래가 크게 기대가 되는데 언약의 여정을 잡으면 하나님께서 영적서밋, 기능서밋, 문화서밋으로 크게 쓰실 것이다. 이것을 일 년을 기도해왔는데 너무나 큰 은혜를 주시고있다. 여러분들이 다 잘 들었기 때문에 간단히 요약을 하면서 내가 기도하는 내용을 여러분들에게 이야기 해주고싶다. 이 언약의 여정 다섯가지를 나하고 똑같이 잡아도 되겠고 여러분들 나름대로 잡아서 기도해도 되겠다. 여러분들은 여러분 나름대로 환경이 있고 제목이 있기 때문에 다를 수도 있다. 그런데 마음만은 내가 기도하는 중심을 갖고 기도했으면 좋겠다.
1. Covenant (갈 2:20): 미리보기 (길) – 절대주권을 믿고 시작
오늘도 메세지를 잠깐 했습니다만 메세지를 먼저 나의 언약으로 잡는 것이 중요하다. 요셉은 자기의 꿈을 언약으로 잡았다. 모세는 엄마가 이야기 했던 가나안 땅에 들어가는 언약을 자기의 메세지로 잡았다. 분명한 것은 요셉도 그렇고 모세도 그렇고 자기가 언약을 잡았을 때 어떤 상황과 문제 속에서도 전혀 걱정할 것이 없었다. 하나님께서는 요셉과 모세를 위해서 모든 것을 완벽하게 준비하셨다. 언약 잡은 자에게는 하나님께서 절대주권을 갖고 역사하신다. 나는 갈 2:20을 나의 언약으로 잡았다. 왜냐하면 나의 마음에 갈 2:20을 꼭 성취하고 싶은 마음이 뜨겁기 때문이다. 내가 갈 2:20을 잡고 기도하는 것은 내가 그리스도와 함꼐 십자가에 못박혔다고 이야기하고 있다. 내가 보니까 분명하게 그리스도를 잡고 내가 해결하지 못했던 문제를 하나님꼐서 해결하신 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫번째는 분명히 나는 내 운명이 바뀌었다. 그 누가 뭐라고해도 나는 마귀의 자녀에서 하나님 자녀가 되었다. 내 운명은 십자가에 못박혀 죽었다. 지금까지 내가 지었던 모든 수많은 죄가 완전히 십자가에 못박혀서 죽어버렸다. 이것을 확실히 갖고있다. 가문의 문제, 자신의 문제가 완전히 십자가에 못박혀서 죽었다는 확신이 있다. 얼마나 감사한지 모른다. 어떻게 하나님께서 나를 구원해주시고 모든 죄를 용서하시고 깨끗하게 하셨을까. 사단이 나를 붙잡고 종노를 하면서 다녔는데 거기서 완전히 해방된 것을 알고있다. 그래서 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 내 안에 계신 그리스도꼐서 사시는 것이라는 확신이 온다. 그래서 내가 이제 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 위하여 죽으신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라고 이야기한다. 나를 위해서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가셔서 그리스도의 사역을 하신 것을 분명히 믿는다. 나는 사단의 권세를 완전히 깨뜨리신 예수님을 분명히 믿는다. 모든 나의 저주가 완전히 끝난 것을 믿는다. 모든 지옥권세에서 완전히 해방된 것을 믿는다. 나는 죽었다. 내 안에 계신 예수를 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이다. 끝난거라. 얼마나 감사하고 감격이 오는지 모른다. 그래서 항상 나를 인도하시는 주님을 믿습니다 하면서 나의 언약이 되기를 기도하고 있다.
2. Vision (롬 12:1-2): 미리갖기 (힘) – 절대계획을 보라
이 비전이라는 것은 언약을 잡은 자에게 자연적으로 주어지는 것이다. 그래서 내가 이 비전을 잡은 것은 바로 내가 정말 무엇보다도 예배를 통해서 승리해야겠다는 마음이 왔다. 말씀을 증거하면서 반드시 응답을 받아야겠다는 마음으로 이것을 잡았다. “롬 12:1 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적 예배니라.” 나는 하나님꼐 나를 재물로 드리길 원한다. 이 재물이라는 것은 백성들 사람들의 죄를 짊어지고 대신 죽는 것이었다. 예수님께서도 우리의 모든 죄를 짊어지시고 재물이 되서 돌아가셨다. 그 재물이 되셨기 때문에 나는 살아서 하나님 자녀로 살고있다. 그렇다면 내 삶은 어떻게 살아야할 것인가. 주님앞에 나올 때 내 있는 모습 그대로를 솔직하게 주님 앞에 드리는 것이다. 갈 2:20 상태를 그대로 하나님꼐 내려놓는 것이다. 내 몸과 마음과 생명과 뜻을 다해서 하나님을 사랑하는 것이다. 이것을 놓고 기도하고 있다. 그런데 정말로 하나님께서 얼마나 큰 힘을 주시는지 모른다. 예배를 통해 기도를 통해 큰 힘을 주신다. 여러분들도 이 응답을 받으시길 바란다.
3. Dream (행 20:24): 미리 누림 (자세가 중요) – 절대언약을 누려라
드림에는 자세가 중요하다. 드림을 잡는 것을 나의 복음, 기도, 전도의 방향으로 잡으라고 하셨다. “행 20:24 내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라” 저는 이 말씀을 잡았다. 나에게 주신 하나님의 사명은 바로 모든 족속으로 제자를 삼으라는 것이다. 땅끝까지 복음을 증거해서 내 증인이 되라는 것이다. 이것을 위해서는 생명 바쳐서 일하라는 것이다. 날마다 이것을 놓고 기도하는 것이다. 이 말씀이 그대로 성취될 수 있게 해달라고. 주일에 복음을 증거하는데 생명을 다해서 복음을 증거하는 종이 될 수 있도록 해달라고 기도하고 있다. 하나님꼐서 큰 은혜를 주신다. 나에게 이것을 절대언약으로 잡고있다. 그래서 이것을 통해서 나에게 주신 사명이니까 이 사명을 감당하기 위해 이 말씀을 놓고 기도하고 있다.
4. Image (롬 14:8): 미리 정복 (방향) – 절대여정을
류목사님이 3단체가 전세계를 장악하고 있다고 한다. 이런 상황을 보게되면 방향이 보인다. 길이 보인다. 보이는 것 자체가 벌써 정복이 시작된 것이라고 이야기 했다. 그래서 그것을 잡고 말씀을 붙잡고 기도해라. 그렇게되면 하나님계서 25시의 응답을 주실 것이다. 그것이 바로 절대여정속으로 들어가는 것이다. 여러분들이 WRC메세지를 몇 번 더 들어보시기 바란다. 나는 언약의 여정을 롬 14:8에 맞추었다. “롬 14:8 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로다.” 우리가 살아도 주님의 영광을 위해서 살아야한다. 죽어도 주님의 영광을 위해서 죽어야한다. 그렇게 되면 하나님께서는 우리를 축복해주실 것이다. 오직 그리스도가 되게되면 하나님꼐서 우리를 맘껏 사용하신다. 그리스도를 잡으면 다 문이 열리게 되어있다. 내가 항상 기도하는 것이 있다. 내가 사는 것도 하나님께 영광이 되게 하여주옵시고 죽는 것도 하나님꼐 영광이 되게하여 주옵소서. 여러분들도 그 기도를 하시기 바란다. 왜 그런가. 나는 주의 것이기 때문이다. 내가 주님의 것이 되게 해준것에 감사한다. 나는 원래 마귀의 것이었다. 그런데 이제는 주님의 은혜로 주님의 것이 되었다. 내가 주님것이 되었다면 주님꼐서 나를 마음대로 사용하실 수 있다. 하나님 나를 마음껏 사용해주세요가 나의 기도제목이다. 주님께서 원하시는 대로 마음껏 사용해주시길 원합니다. 이것이 오직 예수, 오직 그리스도이다. 우리 렘넌트들이 이것을 갖게되면 하나님꼐서 크게 쓰실 줄로 믿는다. 여러분들이 요셉이나 모세나 다윗 같은 분들보다도 훨씬 크게 쓰임받을 줄로 믿는다.
5. Practice (렘 33:2-3): 미리 성취 (영원) – 절대목표
Practice에는 렘 33:2-3을 붙잡았다. “렘 33:2-3 일을 행하시는 여호와, 그것을 만들며 성취하시는 여호와, 그의 이름을 여호와라 하는 이가 이와 같이 이르시도다 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라.” 어떤 문제, 위기, 상황이 생긴다고 하더라도 하나님꼐서 이루신다. 그것은 하나님의 뜻대로 성취될 것이다. 우리의 주인되시는 주님께서 모든 것을 주관하신다. 모든 사건이 하나님께 감사하다. 어떤 사건이나 문제가 오게되면 다 응답으로 생각하라고 했다. 노바디의 응답이 올 것이라고 했다. 정말 그렇게 올 줄로 믿는다. 이 말씀대로 우리의 언약을 잡고 기도하면 우리를 통해서 절대 작품을 허락하실 줄로 믿는다. 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라. 큰 응답을 반드시 주실 줄로 믿는다. 우리 중심이 그리스도 중심이 되어야한다. 하나님꼐서는 우리에게 다른 것 까지 다 주시고 기회를 주신다. 얼마나 감사한다. 다윗이 하나님만 잡았는데 왕까지 되는 어마어마한 축복을 주셨다. 요셉, 모세, 다윗도 그렇게 누구든지 그리스도를 잡으니까 최고의 축복을 주셨다. 내 친구가 현대백화점 사장이었다. 그 친구가 나중에 예수님을 영접하고 그리스도의 가치를 깨달았다. 아마 여러분들은 더 큰 축복을 받을 줄로 믿는다. 우리는 이미 최고의 축복된 자리에 들어와있다. 여러분들이 정말로 그리스도만을 위해서 살고 죽겠다는 각오를 하면 모든 문이 열릴 것이다. 내가 이것을 잡고 일년을 기도했는데 갈 수록 큰 은혜를 체험하게 하신다. 이 응답 받으시기 바란다. 이것을 잡고 기도하게 되면 이번 학기에 큰 응답을 여러분에게 주실 줄로 믿는다. 기도하겠다.
하나님 감사합니다. 귀한 렘넌트들과 말씀을 나눌수 있게 하시니 감사합니다. 이들을 두손들어 축복해주옵소서. 이 세상에서 가장 귀하게 쓰시는 서밋이 될 수 있도록 은혜 내려 주옵소서. 감사드리면 살아계신 그리스도 이름으로 기도합니다.
