복음이 필요한 이유(히5:11-14)
서론
이번에 뉴스에서 나온것과 마찬가지로 전도합숙훈련에 저도 참여했었다. 여러가지 생각이 많이 들었다. 제가 이전에는 구원에 관한 정확한 말씀을 전하지 못했었다. 물론 신학교에서 배워서 구원론에 관한 강의는 하고 있었다. 그러나 복음의 핵심을 간단하게 알려주지는 못했었다. 옛날에는 어떻게 구원을 받습니까 하고 질문을 하면 예수님께서 당신을 위해서 십자가에서 못박혀 돌아가신 것을 믿으면 구원을 받는다고 했다. 그러면 믿고 싶은데 잘 안됩니다 하고 이야기한다. 그러면 내가 이야기했다. 예수님께서 우리를 위해서 십자가에서 돌아가신 것을 믿습니까? 그 사실을 알고 있습니까? 그러면 들은 적은 있다고 이야기한다. 그럼 저는 그 사실을 믿으면 됩니다, 잘 믿어지지가 않으면 믿음을 달라고 기도하세요 했다. 지금도 이런식으로 복음을 전하는 사람들이 있다. 이렇게해서 교회를 다니면 전혀 힘이 없다. 교회는 나오지만 문제만 생기면 부르짖으라는 이야기를 듣고 그냥 문제 해결해달라고 부르짖는다. 안되면 기도원에 가서 뭔가 좀 금식기도를 해야겠다하고 보따리를 싸서 들어간다. 이런 신앙이 바로 구걸하는 신앙이다. 사실은 아무 능력이 없다. 우리는 나의 콘텐츠를 정리를 해야겠다. 요새 콘텐츠에 대한 메세지가 많이 나오고 있다. 정확한 복음과 영접메세지 그리고 함께의 비밀에 대한 콘텐츠를 붙잡아야겠다. 그래서 지금 뉴스에도 나온 내용을 정리해서 여러분들이 콘텐츠를 가질 수 있도록 매주 계속적으로 메세지를 전해드리겠다. 그래서 여러분들이 그 메세지를 붙들고 처음 만나서부터 어떻게 해야하는지 하나씩 말씀을 증거하겠다. 오늘도 말씀 제목을 복음이 필요한 이유라는 제목으로 말씀을 드린가. 오늘 본문 내용이 바로 그 이유를 이야기하고 있다.
1. 젖을 먹는 신앙
1) 영적 무지
히 5:11 멜기세덱에 관하여는 우리가 할 말이 많으나 너희가 듣는 것이 둔하므로 설명하기 어려우니라
멜기세덱에 대한 이야기를 하는데 너희들이 둔하다는 것을 이해하지 못하고 있다는 말이다. 왜 멜기세덱에 대한 이야기를 하는데 못 알아듣는가? 예를 들면 히 7:3 말씀을 보면 이해가 될 것이다.
히 7:3 아버지도 없고 어머니도 없고 족보도 없고 시작한 날도 없고 생명의 끝도 없어 하나님의 아들과 닮아서 항상 제사장으로 있느니라
멜기세덱은 바로 그런 사람이다. 이 사람이 영원한 제사장으로 항상 있다고 이야기하면 듣는 사람이 이해를 못한다는 것이다. 아버지도 없고 엄마도 없고 족보도 없고 태어난 것도 모르고 죽는 것도 없는 사람이 어디있는가 하고 말한다. 그런 사람들은 성경을 자기 생각과 지식과 경험 안에서 해석하기 때문에 문제가 생긴다. 이 사람들은 복음을 들었음에도 불구하고 거부반응을 일으킨다.
2) 육신에 속한 자
히 5:12 때가 오래 되었으므로 너희가 마땅히 선생이 되었을 터인데 너희가 다시 하나님의 말씀의 초보에 대하여 누구에게서 가르침을 받아야 할 처지이니 단단한 음식은 못 먹고 젖이나 먹어야 할 자가 되었도다
교회 나온지가 오래되서 예배드린지도 오래되었는데 전혀 자라지가 않았다는 이야기이다. 어느 정도로 못자랐는가. 하나님의 말씀의 초보에 대하여 누구에게서 가르침을 받아야할 처지라고 이야기한다. 몇 년을 교회를 다녔음에도 계속 새신자 수준에 있다는 말이다. 그래서 본문에서 이야기하기를 단단한 음식은 못 먹고 젖이나 먹어야 할 자가 되었도다 한다. 말씀을 전해도 감당하지 못하고 이해하지 못하고 거부감 밖에 안난다. 그런데 이러한 사람은 그 때만 있었던게 아니라 지금도 많이 있다. 그러면 왜 이런 일이 생기는가. 이것은 자기 스스로 그렇게 한 것이 아니라 그가 갖고 있는 영적 문제 때문이라는 것을 발견해야겠다.
고후 4:4 그 중에 이 세상의 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미하게 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비치지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라
복음을 못알아듣게하는 세상 신이 있다는 것이다. 신앙생활을 잘 하지 못하도록 만들고 있다. 나는 신앙생활을 잘 하고 싶은데 뭔가 안되는 것이다. 그것은 바로 영적문제 때문이라는 것이다. 이 영적문제는 보통 가문 문제에서부터 시작한다. 이런 사람들은 옆에서 보면 참 안타깝다. 뭔가 하고 싶은데 잘 안되고 거부반응이 나고 부정적인 생각이 난다. 고전 3:3 젖먹는 신앙 가진 사람들의 행동이 나온다.
고전 3:3 너희는 아직도 육신에 속한 자로다 너희 가운데 시기와 분쟁이 있으니 어찌 육신에 속하여 사람을 따라 행함이 아니리요
이 젖먹이 신앙들이 갖고있는 사람들을 흑암이 방해하는데 육신으로 살게만드고 시기와 분쟁을 만들고 사람을 따라서 상처를 입게 만든다. 이 흑암의 권세가 섭섭한 마음과 상처, 시기, 분쟁하도록 조장해서 복음이 들어가지 못하게 한다. 그것에 대해서 13절에서 다시 또 이야기한다.
2. 의의 말씀을 경험
1) 히 5:13-14
히 5:13 이는 젖을 먹는 자마다 어린 아이니 의의 말씀을 경험하지 못한 자요
그들의 문제는 의의 말씀, 그리스도 십자가의 말씀을 체험하지 못한데서 온다. 말씀을 들어도 지식으로만 들어가지 실질적으로 가슴으로 내려오지 않는 것이다. 저는 렘넌트 가운데서 이런 사람들을 가끔 발견한다. 성경에 대해서 물어보면 대답은 너무나 잘한다. 고백을 한다 하더라도 잘한다. 그런데 머리로만 하는 것이다. 그것을 어떻게 아는가. 삶이 전혀 바뀌지 않는다. 그러면 어떻게 하는가. 그렇기 때문에 말씀을 듣고 하는 것이 포럼이다. 포럼을 통해서 다시 한 번 말씀에 대한 의미를 새겨보는 시간을 갖는 것이다. 이것을 비유해서 14절에서 다시 이야기한다.
히 5:14 단단한 음식은 장성한 자의 것이니 그들은 지각을 사용함으로 연단을 받아 선악을 분별하는 자들이니라
신앙생활을 하는데 단단한 음식을 먹는 자가 있다는 것이다. 그것은 장성한 자의 것이라고 이야기한다. 장성한 자의 특징이 무엇인가. 이 장성한 자는 경험이 많은 사람들이다. 다시 말씀드리면 말씀의 체험을 많이 한 사람들이다. 우리는 신앙생활 하면서 슬픈 일도 힘든 일도 만나고 눈물고 흘리기도 하고 실패도 하고 성공도 하고 많은 일을 만난다. 장성한 자는 이런 일이 생길 때 마다 자기 인생을 놓고 주님과 깊은 교재를 통해 응답받아가는 사람들이다. 좋은 일이 생길 때는 감사도 하면서 문제가 생길 때는 기도하고 말씀을 찾아 응답받아가면서 나아가는 사람이 장성한 사람이다. 14절 마지막 보게되면 연단을 받아 선악을 분별하는 자들이니라 하고 말한다. 많은 어려움이 있었다는 말이다. 많은 어려움을 통해서 오히려 단단한 신앙생활로 바뀌는 사람들이다. 장성한 자들은 왠만한 시험이 와도 절대로 무너지지 않는다. 오히려 주님의 음성을 들으려고 한다. 바로 이런 사람들이 의의 말씀을 체험한 사람들이다.
2) 의의 말씀을 체험
그러면 우리가 이 말씀을 붙들고 의의 말씀을 체험하는 시간을 가져야겠다. 여러분들이 이미 많은 응답을 받고 계시겠습니다만 깊은 묵상을 통해서 자신을 점검하시고 자신과 하나님과 포럼을 해보시기 바란다. 다섯가지를 한 번 점검해보시기 바란다. 새신자를 만났을 때 이것을 점검시키는 것도 좋다. 첫번째는 요 1:12이다.
요 1:12 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니
예수님을 영접한 자에게 정말로 당신이 하나님의 자녀된 권세를 갖고있는지 물어보시기 바란다. 남을 물어보기 이전에 자신을 체크해보시기 바란다. 나는 정말 하나님의 자녀가 맞는가. 누가 뭐라고해도 나는 하나님의 자녀가 맞는가. 그 자녀된 권세를 내가 정말 갖고있는가. 여기서부터 확신이 있어야한다. 두번째이다. 지금 나는 분명히 운명과 사주팔자에서 정말로 해방되었는가. 이것을 내 마음에 생각만 하는 것이 아니라 정말로 믿어지는가. 불신자 시절에 가졌던 운명의 손아귀에서 벗어난 확신이 있는가. 확인해보시기 바란다. 세번째이다. 내가 지금 죽는다해도 분명히 나는 천국갈 것이라는 확신이 있는가. 확신이 있으신가. 나는 틀림없이 간다는 확신이 있어야한다. 나 마음에 다짐하는 것이 아니라 내 마음에 믿음이 있어야하는 것이다. 네번째이다. 내 가문에 내려왔던 모든 저주와 재앙, 내 모든 죄가 주님의 보혈의 피로 깨끗하게 용서함을 받았다는 확신이 있는가. 믿으시는가. 주님께서 이미 다 끝났다고 했다. 자녀된 권세가 내가 있다. 그런데 아직까지도 가문의 저주와 재앙에서 벗어나지 못했다고 생각하면 그게 문제인 것이다. 가문의 모든 죄 뿐만 아니라 내 모든 죄까지도 완전히 끝났다는 확신을 가져야한다. 믿으시는가. 다섯번째이다. 하나님께서 지금 늘 나와 함께하시고 기도할 때 마다 반드시 응답하고 계시다는 사실을 믿는가. 주님께서 나와 항상 함께하셔 하는 것이 누려져야한다. 확신하시는가. 정말 붙잡으시기 바란다. 그렇다면 이번에 합숙훈련에서 이야기했던 것과 마찬가지로 제자가 가져야할 콘텐츠를 붙잡아야겠다.
3. 제자가 가져야할 콘텐츠
1) 복음의 콘텐츠
제자가 반드시 가져야할 콘텐츠가 두가지 있다. 복음의 콘텐츠와 삼직의 콘텐츠이다. 먼저 복음의 콘텐츠이다. 복음의 콘텐츠에 관해서 가장 잘 설명한 것이 롬 12:2-4 말씀이다. 너무나 중요한 말씀이다. 복음 콘텐츠가 다 들어있는 말씀이다.
롬 1:2-4 이 복음은 하나님이 선지자들을 통하여 그의 아들에 관하여 성경에 미리 약속하신 것이라 3 그의 아들에 관하여 말하면 육신으로는 다윗의 혈통에서 나셨고 4 성결의 영으로는 죽은 자들 가운데서 부활하사 능력으로 하나님의 아들로 선포되셨으니 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도시니라
많은 사람들이 교회를 다니면서 복음이 뭐냐 물으면 대답을 못한다. 복음이 뭐냐 하고 물으면 이것을 이야기하면 된다. 이 말씀이 복음이라는 것이다. 이것을 풀어서 다섯가지로 복음을 설명하겠다. 첫번째는 성경에 선지자들을 통해서 아브라함과 다윗의 후손으로 오실 것을 미리 약속하신 것, 이것이 복음이다. 두번째는 약속하신 그 분이 성령으로 잉태에서 이 땅에 실질적으로 오셨다는 것 자체가 복음이다. 예수님은 그냥 오신 것이 아니라 성경에 약속되신대로 오신 것이다. 그게 복음이다. 약속하신 그 분이 성령으로 잉태되어서 실질적으로 이 땅에 오셨다는 것이다. 오시지 않으면 안되는 것이다. 세번째는 성경대로 십자가에서 못박혀 죽으시고 성경대로 부활하셔서 구원을 성취시켰다는 것이다. 예수님께서 그리스도의 일을 행하신 것은 성경대로 십자가에서 죽으시고 성경대로 부활하신 것이다. 성경대로 구원을 성취하신 것이다. 이게 복음이다. 이게 하나님의 은혜다. 이것을 분명히 붙잡아야한다. 네번째는 그 분은 부활하셔서 지금도 하나님 보좌 우편에 계시고 우리의 중보자로 지금도 우리와 함께 계시다는 사실이다. 지금도 우리를 위해서 간구하시는 이것이 복음이다. 그리고 마지막으로 롬 10:10이다.
롬 10:10 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라
마음으로 믿음이 오고 입으로 시인하게 되면 구원에 이른다는 것이다. 이것이 복음이다. 우리가 복음의 콘텐츠를 정확하게 붙잡아야겠다. 그래서 누구를 만나든지 정확하게 설명하고 내 자신이 기도를 통해서 이것을 누려야한다. 이것을 누리게 될 때 하나님께서 힘을 주신다.
2) 그리스도 3직의 콘텐츠
우리는 그리스도 3직의 콘텐츠를 누려야겠다.
마 16:16 시몬 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 주는 그리스도시요 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이시니이다
복음의 핵심은 무엇이냐. 바로 그리스도의 3직이다. 이 3직을 지식으로만 아는 것이 아니라 사실적으로 내 마음에 받아들이고 믿어야하는 것이다.
행 4:12 다른 이로써는 구원을 받을 수 없나니 천하 사람 중에 구원을 받을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이라 하였더라
베드로가 고백을 했지만 베드로의 고백이 아니라 나의 고백이 되어야한다. 그 어떤 이름으로도 구원받을 수 없는데 그리스도만이 나를 구원하는 유일한 길이라는 것을 알아야한다. 예수님께서 하신 말씀이다.
막 10:45 인자의 온 것은 섬김을 받으려 함이 아니라 도리어 섬기려 하고 자기 목숨을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려 함이니라
이것이 정말로 마음 속에서 감동으로 받아들일 수 있어야한다. 주여 어쩌자고 저같은 비천한 인간을 위해서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가셨습니까. 이 말씀을 들을 때 마다 눈물이 나야한다. 주님께서 친히 못박혀 돌아가신 사실을 붙들고 날마다 감사하는 삶이 되어야한다.
요일 3:8 죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 마귀는 처음부터 범죄함이라 하나님의 아들이 나타나신 것은 마귀의 일을 멸하려 하심이라
믿어지시는가. 아멘인가. 이것이 믿어지게되면 우리의 가문의 모든 문제와 개인의 문제가 끝났다는 것이다. 아직까지 우리 생각 가운데 그것이 나타난다면 주의 불신앙을 치유해주옵소서 하고 기도해야된다. 주님께서 완전히 끝내셨구나. 이것이 정말 믿어지는 그 순간에는 모든 흑암이 무너진다. 그동안에 나에게, 우리 가문에 역사하던 모든 흑암이 순식간에 무너진다. 이것이 정말로 믿어지게되면 마 16:18-19 말씀의 선물이 우리에게 주어진다.
마 16:18-19 또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라 19 내가 천국 열쇠를 네게 주리니 네가 땅에서 무엇이든지 매면 하늘에서도 매일 것이요 네가 땅에서 무엇이든지 풀면 하늘에서도 풀리리라 하시고
정말 누리시는 여러분 되시기 바란다. 응답 받으시기 바란다.
결론
마 28:20 내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라
지금도 함께 계신줄로 믿는다. 붙잡으시고 누리시기 바란다. 큰 축복과 응답의 역사가 나타날 줄로 믿는다.
The Reason We Need the Gospel (Hebrews 5:11-14)

“ 11 Of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. ”
Introduction
This week I participated in the remnant evangelism institute and many thoughts came to my mind. I realized that I haven’t shared the message of the accurate covenant and salvation. Of course within seminary school, I have shared many messages regarding the message of salvation but I realized that I haven’t shared the accurate and core content of the gospel. I remember someone asked me what salvation was and I replied that salvation is believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. The person replied that he wanted to believe in this but couldn’t get himself to truly believe. I asked this person if he believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross and if he knew of this truth? This person responded that he has heard of this but, I told him that all he has to do is believe in this. But this person said that he knows of this but couldn’t believe it. Then, I told him to pray to have faith to believe. This person nodded his head and said that he will pray this prayer. Right now, there are many people who are sharing the gospel this way. If you are attending church this way, then you will have no strength. You go to church but when problems come, you are only pleading to God to solve that problem. But if that problem doesn’t get solved, you try to resolutely do fasting prayer but this walk of faith is known as the begging faith. This has no power to do it. You need to organize your own content. We have spoken about the content numerous times now. We need to hold onto the content regarding the accurate gospel, spiritual gospel message, and the mystery of with. As you saw in the Remnant Unity Training Center (RUTC) News, I will organize this so that you can find your own content. I am planning on giving this message for the upcoming weeks. When you hold onto this message, then you will discover what you must do and how to share the gospel. Today’s message title is why you need the gospel. The main scripture’s content speaks about the reason why you need the gospel.
1. Faith that Partakes Only of Milk
1) Spiritual ignorance
Verse 11 - This scripture is speaking about how they were explaining about Melchizedek but the people were not understanding. Why were people not understanding the words regarding Melchizedek?
For an example, if you look at this scripture then you will understand - Hebrews 7:3 (“Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.”). This was who Melchizedek was. This person is the eternal High Priest and it was prophesied this way but people could not understand this. He has no father, no mother, and no genealogy as well as no pending death. There is no person like this on this Earth and it makes no sense for this person’s existence. Why are these people saying it this way? They are interpreting the Bible and God’s Word with their own thinking. These people who have heard the gospel but continue to reject the gospel because they cannot understand it.
2) The carnal man
Verse 12 - You have attended church for a long time but you haven’t grown at all. To what extent? You hear God’s words but you need someone to continually teach you to help you understand. You have attended church for a long time but you still stuck within the level of a new believer. That is why it says that you are not able to eat solid food but still need of milk. This type of person didn’t just exist back then but these people still exist today within the church. Why are people like this? Why are these types of people still existing? The reason is because of their spiritual problems. This doesn’t occur to them because they want to be this way but it is because of their spiritual problems.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (“Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”) - There is a god of this age that is preventing you from not being able to hear, enjoy, and go deeper into the gospel. You want to have a better walk of faith but something is blocking you. That is because of your spiritual problems. These spiritual problems start from your family line, from your family line of nonbelievers. When you look at these kinds of people, you feel so much pity and feel so unfortunate for them. They want to learn and grow but they seem to remain stagnant.
1 Corinthians 3:3 (“For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?”) - The darkness is hindering them so that they will only live a physical life and be full of scars from people around them. The forces of darkness don't feel bad or care if you fall behind within your walk of faith, its main focus is to hinder your walk of faith so that you can’t enter into the gospel and experience only scars.
2. Skilled the Word of Righteousness
Verses 13 - Their problem is that they were not able to experience the message of the cross. They are able to hear the word but it only enters their brain but not their hearts. They only hear it as words but not as God’s voice. I have seen some remnants like this. When you ask them questions regarding the Bible, they are able to give the perfect answer but when they give confessions, they give the perfect confessions that are formulated within their heads only. How do you know if some people are like this? Their lives aren’t changing at all. Then, what must they do? That is why we do forums after we listen to messages. Through forums, you are able to experience the message again and experience the meaning of the word of God.
Verse 14 - When they walk their walk of faith, there are people who are able to eat solid food. They are of full age. Who are the people who are full age? They are full of experiences. In other words, they have experienced the word of God many times within their lives. When you live your walk of faith, you may face hardships, tears, and failures but when the people who are full age, when they experience these hardships, they are able to be victorious while communicating with God and enter into prayer. When things are going well, they give thanksgiving to God but when things are hard, they also seek after God’s word and give thanksgiving. These are the people who are full age.
Verse 14 - “Senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” - Many hardships may have come to them but through their hardships, they are able to gain a strong walk of faith. They don’t fall down when hardships come but seek after God and turn to try to hear His voice instead. These people are the ones who have experienced God’s word. May you receive answers in the name of Jesus Christ.
2) Experienced the Word of righteousness
Through today’s word, you need to experience the word of God and receive the word of righteousness. Through deep meditation, you need to examine yourself and have forums with God. I will share five parts. I think it is good to help nonbelievers examine this as well.
The first part is John 1:12 (“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”) - Those who have received Jesus Christ into their hearts, they have received authority. Ask them if they have this authority. Before you help others examine themselves, you need to examine yourself first. Are you sure that you are a saved child of God? No matter what others say, you need to have assurance that you are a child of God. Do you truly possess the authority as a child of God? You need to have assurance of this.
The second question is, have you been completely liberated from the fate and destiny of death and hell? You are not just thinking and acknowledging this within your head but you need to believe in this within your heart. The fate that you were once in when you were nonbeliever, have you been completely freed from this? You need to confirm and examine this.
The third question is, if you die, do you have absolute assurance that you will go to heaven? Do you have assurance of this? You need to have this absolute assurance. You are not just testing your heart but you need to have absolute assurance of this within your heart. Do you have assurance of this?
The fourth question is, all of the sins and problems of your family lines, have you completely received healing and cleansing of all of those sins of your family line? Do you believe in this? Jesus has said that everything is finished. But you are still bound by your sins and problems of your family line then that is a problem that you need to resolve before God. Not only the sins of your family line but Jesus has completely finished all of your own fundamental sins. Do you believe in this?
The fifth question is, God is always with you but when you pray, God will absolutely answer your prayers. Do you believe in this truth? Do you have assurance that God is always with You? You need to always enjoy this. Do you have assurance of this? Hold onto this. If you are able to hold onto this then it is finished.
As it is mentioned during the evangelism school message, you need to hold onto the gospel content. There are two contents you need to possess as a disciple. The first content is the content of the gospel and the second content is of the three offices of Christ.
3. The Content that Disciples Must Have
1) The gospel content
The best scripture that explains the gospel content is Romans 1:2-4 (“Which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”) - This scripture itself is the gospel. It is such an important message. The message that gives the exact gospel content is Romans 1:2-4. Many people go to church and ask what the gospel is but people cannot answer this question. What is the gospel then? You can answer this question with this scripture. This message is the word of God itself. Then you can explain the gospel in five parts.
The first part, through God’s prophets, God sent down His Son, Jesus Christ. This promised Christ came down to Earth by being conceived through the Holy Spirit and Jesus came through the promise of the Holy Spirit. That is the gospel. He was promised and came down to Earth in human flesh. This is the gospel. He had no choice but for Jesus to come down this way. The reason why Jesus came as the Christ was to die according to the scriptures and to resurrect according to the scriptures. He fulfilled the covenant according to the word of God. This is the gospel. This is the grace of God that you need to hold onto. The fourth part is that Jesus is interceding for us even now while He is sitting at the right side of the throne of God.
Lastly, the fifth part is Romans 10:10 (“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”) - When you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, that is the salvation. You need to hold onto the accurate gospel content. Whoever you meet you are able to accurately share the gospel. When you enjoy this, then God will give you strength.
2) The content of the three offices of Christ
Matthew 16:16 (“Simon Peter answered and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' ”) - What is the core content of the gospel? It is the three offices of Jesus Christ. You are not just holding onto with your head but you need to place it within your heart and believe.
Acts 4:12 (“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”) - Peter was able to confess this but it was not Peter’s confession but it needs to be your own confession. No matter what other people say, only through Christ can give you salvation. He is the only way to receive salvation.
Mark 10:45 (“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”) - You need to place this within your heart with absolute thanksgiving. How did God save someone as lacking and weak as me? I am so thankful. You need to have this kind of heart. When you read this scripture, you need to be shedding tears. When you hold onto the fact that Jesus Christ died for you, you need to hold onto it with a heart of thanksgiving.
1 John 3:8 (“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”) - Do you believe in this? Is this an Amen for you? If you believe in this then all of the problems and sins within yourself and family line are completely finished. If you still don’t believe, then you need to pray to God to heal your unbelief. Jesus has completely finished everything. Then, the moment you believe, then all darkness will flee and break down. All of the darkness that was blocking your family, it will be completely broken down the moment you believe. When you truly believe, then this scripture will come to you as a gift - Matthew 16:18-19 (“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”). Through you, God will build a church, the gates of Hades will not prevail against you, and God has given you the keys of heaven and earth so that you can pray. These are the greatest blessings given to us as children of God. Truly enjoy them. Truly receive answers.
Conclusion
Always enjoy Matthew 28:20 (“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”) - God is with you even now. Hold onto this. Enjoy this. Then, great and tremendous blessings will come to you.
