하나님께 드린 그리스도의 피(히9:11-14)
서론
사단은 어떻게 하던지 개인과 가정, 단체를 파괴하고 죽이고 멸망시키려고 하고 있다. 우리가 이 영적 사실을 알면 당하지 않는다. 영적 사실을 안다면 기도하면 될 것이다. 기도하면 된다는 것은 우리 주님은 살아계시기 때문에 분명히 기도응답을 하고 계시기 때문이다. 우리가 오직 그리스도를 붙잡게되면 어떤 문제가 오더라도 걱정할 것이 없다. 우리가 지금 살고 있는 것은 영적 전쟁을 하고 있는 것임을 기억해야한다. 영적 전쟁에서 가장 중요한 것은 그리스도를 정확하게 아는 것이다. 그렇게 되면 주님께서 역사하실 것이다. 큰 응답받는 여러분 되시기 바란다. 오늘도 지난 시간에 이어서 계속 그리스도에 대해서 말씀을 증거하고자 한다. 하나님께 드린 그리스도의 피 라는 제목으로 말씀을 받기 원한다.
1. 대제사장 되신 그리스도
1) 온전한 장막
11절에 제일 먼저 그리스도에 대한 말씀이 나온다.
히 9:11 그리스도께서는 장래 좋은 일의 대제사장으로 오사 손으로 짓지 아니한 것 곧 이 창조에 속하지 아니한 더 크고 온전한 장막으로 말미암아
좋은 일을 위해서 오셨다는 것이다. 좋은 일이 무엇인가. 우리를 완전히 구원하실 계획을 가지고 오셨다는 것이다. 8절 말씀에 성소에 들어가는 길이 보이지 않았다고 했다. 대제사장이 오셔서 그 길을 완전히 열어놓으셨다. 또 10절 말씀에 구약의 모든 예법이 먹는 것, 마시는 것, 씻는 것과 같은 육신적인 것에 초첨이 맞추어져 있었다. 문제는 영적 양심의 문제를 해결할 수 없다고 했다. 인간의 근본 문제와 그 뒤에서 역사하는 흑암의 배경을 알지도 못하고 해결할 수 없다는 것이다. 그래서 11절 마지막에 이 창조에 속하지 아니한 더 크고 온전한 장막으로 말미암아 해결하겠다고 나온다. 이 창조에 속하지 아니했다는 것은 아담의 후손이 아닌 하늘에서 오신 분이라는 것이다. 더 크고 온전한 장막이라고 말씀하고 있는데 이것은 그리스도의 몸을 나타낸다. 도저히 해결할 수 없는 문제가 너무나 많은데 그리스도께서 친히 이 땅에 육신의 몸을 입고 오셔서 문제를 해결하셨다. 이것이 복음이다.
2) 영원한 속죄
히 9:12 염소와 송아지의 피로 하지 아니하고 오직 자기의 피로 영원한 속죄를 이루사 단번에 성소에 들어가셨느니라
먼저 염소와 송아지의 피로 하지 아니했다고 나온다. 구약시대에는 염소와 송아지의 피로 죄 문제를 해결했다. 하나님께서는 염소와 송아지의 피를 대속의 피로 사용하셨다. 대속의 피를 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 것이다. 아무거나 피 흘린다고 해서 좋아하시는 것이 아니라 인간을 구원하기 위한 대속의 피만 기뻐하신다는 것이다. 이 피 중에서도 대속의 피로 사용 하셨을 때에는 하나님께서 기뻐하시면서 어마어마한 능력의 역사를 행하신다. 그냥 흘린 짐승의 피는 아무 소용이 없다. 그러나 그것이 생명을 살리는 언약의 피로 흘릴 때는 엄청난 역사가 나타나는 것이다. 대속의 피가 어마어마하게 중요하고 하나님 앞에서 귀한 것을 붙잡아야한다. 출애굽을 생각해보겠다. 어린 양의 피를 잡아서 뿌렸다. 그런데 이 어린 양의 피 하나로 많은 우상을 삼겼던 초강대국 애굽이 무너졌다. 짐승의 피가 아무것도 아닌 것 같은데 언약의 피가 되니까 어마어마한 역사가 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라 스스로를 태양의 신이라고 자칭했던 바로 왕이 어린 양의 피에 항복을 해버렸다. 그 뿐만 아니다. 막혔던 홍해 바다가 갈라지는 역사가 나타났다. 이 어린 양의 피, 짐승의 피였음에도 어마어마한 역사가 나타났던 것이다. 그런데 이번에는 오직 자기의 피로 영원한 속죄를 이루사 단번에 성소에 들어가셨느니라 했다. 짐승의 피도 엄청난 역사가 나타나는데 아들되신 하나님이 직접오셔서 자기의 피로 영원한 대속을 이루셨다는 것이다. 대제사장으로서 자신의 피를 흘리셨다. 짐승의 피를 통해서 출애굽에 어마어마한 사건이 생겼는데 예수님의 피를 흘림으로서는 영원한 속죄를 이루셨다. 뿐만 아니라 단번에 하나님 보좌에 계신 성소로 들어가셨다. 모든 문제를 해결하시고 하나님 만날 수 있는 길을 완전히 열어놓으셨다. 여기서 우리가 분명히 잡아야할 것이 있다. 우리가 십자가의 피를 붙잡게되면 어떤 역사가 나타나겠는가. 400년 동안 노예 살이를 했던 이스라엘 백성들을 해방시킨 피인데 예수님께서 피를 흘리셨다면 우리의 문제가 고민이 되겠는가. 지금 이것을 사실적으로 믿어야한다. 정말로 예수 그리스도의 피를 믿는다면 어떤 문제도 문제될 것이 없다. 믿으시는가. 정말로 마음으로 믿어야한다. 믿는 그 순간에 해결된다.
2. 영원하신 성령의 역사
1) 속죄 제물의 의미
히 9:13 염소와 황소의 피와 및 암송아지의 재를 부정한 자에게 뿌려 그 육체를 정결하게 하여 거룩하게 하거든
예수님의 십자가를 나타낸다. 우리가 항상 듣고있었던 것은 염소와 소의 피로서 제사를 드린 것이었다. 그런데 오늘 처음 암송아지의 재를 부정한 자에게 뿌렸다고 나온다. 이 말씀을 이해하기 위해서는 민수기 16장에 나타난 사건을 이해해야한다. 모세와 아론을 대적했던 고라와 일당들이 있었다. 그들이 모세와 아론을 대적하다가 하나님이 진노하셔서 지진을 내서 죽이는데 250명이 죽었다. 이 사건이 일어난 다음에 이스라엘 모든 백성들이 슬픔에 빠졌다. 화가 나서 회중들이 모여서 모세와 아론에게 찾아와서 공격을 한다. 그 때 그 광경을 보고 하나님께서 친히 나타나셨다. 하나님께서 진노를 내리시는데 염병을 내리셨다. 전염병을 퍼뜨리신 것이다. 모세가 그 광경을 보고 안되겠구나 싶어서 아론에게 빨리 향로에 불을 담아서 피워서 백성들에게 가져가라고 명령한다. 아론은 그 명령을 받고 향로에 불을 피워서 백성들에게 쫓아갔다. 향을 피우니까 그 전염병이 중단이 되었다. 그런데 이미 만 사천 칠백명이 죽었다. 왜 모세가 향로를 가지고 가서 피우라고 했는가. 향로에서 나오는 연기는 그리스도의 기도를 나타낸다. 그리스도의 중보 기도를 통해서 만이 너희들이 살 수 있다는 것을 보여주신 것이다. 그러면서 하나님께서는 중요한 것을 명령하시는데 민 19장에 나타난다. 민수기 19장 보게되면 하나님께서 붉은 암송아지를 데리고 와서 피를 내서 제단에 일곱 번 뿌리라고 하셨다. 그래서 잡아서 가죽, 고기, 피, 똥 이것을 다 태우고 뿐만 아니라 백향목 우슬초 홍색실을 섞어서 태우라고 하셨다. 여기서 붉은 암송아지는 십자가에 달리신 예수 그리스도를 의미한다. 가죽, 고기, 피, 똥까지 다 태우라는 것이다. 그리고 백향목 우슬초 홍색실을 같이 태우라는 것은 그리스도의 삼직을 나타낸다. 그리스도께서 못박혀 죽으시는 것을 의마하는 것이다. 그리고 이것들을 다 태워서 재를 만들라 하신다. 재를 모아서 물에 타서 씻을 때 너희 죄가 용서받는다고 하신다. 여기서 다시 한 번 생각해볼 것이 있다. 가죽과 고기와 피와 똥을 다 태워서 재를 만들라고 한다. 재를 만든다는 것은 그리스도를 완전히 태워서 재를 만들라는 것이다. 그리스도께서는 완전히 죽으셔서 재가 되셨다는 것이다. 이 한 주간에 이 말씀을 붙들고 묵상해보시기 바란다. 인간의 죄 문제를 해결하시기 위해서 죽으시는데 재가 될 정도로 죽으셔서 우리 죄를 해결해주신다는 것이다. 다 태운 재를 물에 섞어서 바르게 되면 우리 죄가 용서함 받는 것이다. 예수님께서 그냥 십자가에서 못박혀 돌아가신 것이 아니다. 주님께서는 우리를 위해서 돌아가시는데 아무것도 남기지 않고 완전히 재가 되셨다는 것이다.
2) 성령의 역사
히 9:14 하물며 영원하신 성령으로 말미암아 흠 없는 자기를 하나님께 드린 그리스도의 피가 어찌 너희 양심을 죽은 행실에서 깨끗하게 하고 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기게 하지 못하겠느냐
무슨 말씀이냐하면 구약에서 짐승을 통해서도 속죄가 됬지 않느냐는 것이다. 그렇다면 흠 없는 하나님의 아들께서 친히 오셔서 흘리신 피는 어떻겠냐는 것이다. 그 분이 완전히 죽으셔서 재가 되셨다. 완전히 죽으신 것은 우리의 완전한 구원을 위해서 하신 것이다. 저는 이 말씀을 묵상하면서 도무지 하나님께서는 우리를 얼마나 사랑하시기 위해서 자기 아들을 재로까지 만드시면서 죽게 하셨는가 했다. 하나님께서 우리를 얼마나 사랑하시기에 자기 아들을 죽이시고 재로까지 만드시는가. 우리는 여기에 대한 감격을 느껴야할 것 같다. 우리는 너무 무감각한 믿음을 갖고 있지는 않은가. 주님께서 나를 위해서 완전히 태우시고 없어지셨는데 우리는 우리 것을 찾고 있다. 완전한 죽으심을 통해서 완전히 구원시켜주셨다. 그리스도의 피가 어찌 너희 양심을 죽은 행실 가운데서 깨끗하게 하지 못하겠느냐. 주님께서는 우리 죽은 행실을 살리신다는 것이다. 양심이 오염된 양심을 갖고있어서 죽은 행실을 만들어낸다는 것이다. 이 죽은 행실이 우리가 구원을 받았음에도 창 3, 6, 11에 붙잡혀 살고 있는 것이다. 인간들이 오염된 양심 속에서 살고있다. 내가 하나님처럼 살아야지. 내 몸을 위해야지. 내가 성공하는 것이 중요하지. 이것이 살아가는데 가장 지혜로운 방법인줄 알고 양심이 오염되서 살아가고 있다. 주님께서는 이것을 아시고 재가 되도록 완전히 타버리셨다. 오염된 양심까지도 깨끗하게 하셨다. 하물며 영원하신 성령으로 말미암아 하셨다. 성령께서 우리 죽은 행실에서 우리를 살리시도록 역사하신 것이다. 성령께서는 예수님을 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 분이다. 그리스도의 십자가를 통해서 우리 오염된 양심도 살리셨다.
고후 5:17 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나 갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다
성령께서는 그리스도를 통해서 우리를 완전히 새로운 피조물로 바꾸셨다. 우리의 구원이라는 것은 잠시 뭐가 변해서 깨닫는게 아니라 성령을 통해서 완전히 새로운 피조물로 바꾸시는 것이다. 우리가 완전히 새로운 피조물이라면 새로운 삶을 살아야한다. 우리는 마땅히 살 수 있는 축복 가운데 있다. 십자가는 창 3:15의 성취이다.
창 3:15 내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게 하고 네 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고
예수님의 죽으심은 완전한 죽으심이었다. 예수님의 죽으심이 무엇을 의미하는가. 예수님은 우리의 모든 죄를 짊어지시고 돌아가셨다. 예수님의 완전한 죽으심은 우리 죄가 완전히 죽었다는 것이다. 예수님이 재가 되셨다는 것은 우리 죄가 재가 되었다는 것이다. 죄가 죽었다는 것은 사단의 머리가 박살났다는 것이다. 죄를 통해서 넘어뜨리려고 했던 흑암의 권세가 완전히 꺾인 것이다. 사단은 예수님을 죽이기 위해서 모략을 해서 예수님을 완전히 죽였다고 생각했다. 사단은 전혀 몰랐다. 예수님의 죽으심이 인간의 죽음이 되는 것을 몰랐다. 자기의 모든 권세가 끝난 것을 모르는 것이다. 바로 그리스도의 십자가의 피로 나타나는 능력의 역사이다. 우리가 언약을 잡게되면 어떤 문제도 문제가 될 수 없다. 사단의 머리가 완전히 박살났다. 모든 것이 끝났다. 우리는 하나님의 자녀이다. 하나님의 자녀는 사단을 물리칠 수 있는 권세를 갖고있다. 그래서 어떤 영적 전쟁도 승리할 수 있다.
3. 영적 전쟁
1) 영적문제 체크
우리는 마땅히 응답을 받아야할 것을 받지 못하고 있다. 세가지로 말씀드리겠다. 한 번 마음을 체크해보시기 바란다. 내가 혼자 있을 때 평안하신가. 혼자 있을 때 무슨 생각을 하시는가. 무슨 생각이 떠오르는가. 옛날에 상처받았던 것을 생각하시는가. 당면한 문제를 생각하시는가. 돈이 생각나시는가. 그 시간에 기도가 나오시는가. 말씀이 생각 나시는가. 혼자 있을 때 생각나는 그것이 여러분들의 미래를 결정한다. 평상시에 얼굴을 보면 나는 웃는 얼굴이다 하고 생각하시는가. 옆 사람을 보시기 바란가. 웃는 얼굴인가. 저 사람 보면 항상 심각한 얼굴이야 하는가. 항상 뭔가 불만이 가득한 얼굴인가. 체크해보시기 바란다. 그것이 여러분들의 영적인 현재 상태이다. 도무지 하루에 몇 번 웃으시는가. 여러분 생에서 굉장히 중요한 질문이다. 항상 성난 얼굴을 하고 있는 사람이 있다. 뭔지 몰라도 항상 성난 것 처럼 다닌다. 그것은 평안이 없다는 말이다. 항상 고민 속에, 문제 속에 사로잡혔다는 것이다. 영적으로 말씀드린다면 그것은 사단에게 장악되어있는 것이다. 사단이 내 마음과 생각을 장악하고 있다는 것이다. 그렇게 되면 웃음이 안나온다. 웃으려고해도 웃어지지 않는다. 그것을 느끼게 되면 빨리 영적 전쟁을 하시기 바란다. 주님께서 완전히 해결하셨다. 승리할 수 있다. 두번째 체크할 것이 있다. 제가 보게되면 우리 렘넌트 가운데에서도 무기력하고 무능력에 빠져있는 사람이 있는 것 같다. 성도들도 그런 사람이 있다. 귀찮고 하기가 싫다. 흑암이 역사하는 것이다. 우리 렘넌트들 공부를 하려하는데 하기가 싫은 사람이 있는가. 그게 그냥 생긴 것이 아니라 흑암이 붙잡고 있다는 것을 잡아야한다. 내가 하면 될까 싶어서 무기력에 빠져서 계속 모든 것을 포기하고 산다. 그것은 틀림없는 흑암의 역사이다. 정신병에 시초가 그것이다. 똑똑하던 아이가 여기에 빠지면 점점 공부가 안된다. 갈수록 공부하기가 싫어진다. 그리고 행동이 모든 것을 포기하고 귀찮아진다. 그래서 사단은 그 사람을 바보로 만든다. 영적 전쟁을 해야한다. 주님께서는 모든 문제를 해결하셨다. 승리하신 주님께서 여러분 안에 계신다. 세번째이다. 누군가가 성공을 하면 은근히 그 사람에 대해서 험담을 한다. 다른 사람이 성공했다면 그 사람이 앞으로 겪을 문제점을 찾아낸다. 순간 붙잡으셔야 한다. 나는 지금 사단의 노예로구나 생각하면 틀림없다. 아담과 하와가 타락했을 때 나타난 행동이 나에게 똑같이 나타나는 것이다. 나보다 더 잘되는 것을 못보는 것이다. 사단이 가장 좋아하는 창 3, 6, 11에 걸려있는 것이다. 그렇게 되면 그대로 멸망 당할 수 밖에 없다. 내 영적 상태를 빨리 파악하시기고 영적 전쟁을 하시기 바란다.
엡 6:17-18 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지라 18 모든 기도와 간구를 하되 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하라
말씀 붙잡고 깊이 기도하시기 바란다. 말씀 붙잡고 기도하면 반드시 치유가 될 줄로 믿는다. 말씀이 검이기 때문이다. 사단을 죽일 수 있다. 응답 받으시기 바란다.
2) 새로운 각인
그렇다면 오늘 우리가 새로운 말씀을 각인해야겠다. 영적 승리하는 방법을 붙잡아야겠다. 말씀을 꼭 기억하시기 바란다. 광야에서 하나님께서 이스라엘 백성들에게 원하셨던 것이 무엇인가 잡아야한다. 하나님께서는 광야에 있는 이스라엘 백성들에게 군사 훈련을 시키지 않으셨다. 하나님이 명령하신 것을 성막을 중심으로 모여라, 세절기를 지켜라 하는 것이었다. 이 40년 동안 이것만 각인시켰던 것이다. 성막을 중심으로 모이라는 것은 예배를 중심으로 하라는 것이다. 세절기를 지키라는 것은 유월절, 오순절, 수장절을 항상 기억하라는 것이다. 구원과 성령의 인도하심과 천국의 소망을 갖고 항상 살라는 것이다. 다시 말씀드리면 하나님께서 광야에서 원하신 것은 오직 그리스도만 잡으라는 것이다. 이스라엘 백성들이 열심히 지켰다. 광야에서 어떤 군대도 이스라엘 백성들을 이길 수 없었다. 수많은 백성들이 죽은 이유는 오직 예수가 안된 사람들이었다. 불신앙 때문에 죽었지 전쟁 때문에 죽지 않았다. 오직 그리스도가 되지 않으면 다 죽는다는 것이다. 그러면 붙잡아야한다. 어떤 배경과 능력이 없어도 그리스도만 찾으면 된다. 그리스도만 찾게되면 어떤 문제도 축복으로 바뀌는 역사가 나타날 줄로 믿는다. 응답받는 여러분 되시기 바란다.
신 3:22 너희는 그들을 두려워하지 말라 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 친히 너희를 위하여 싸우시리라 하였노라
우리가 오직 예수가 되게되면 우리 연약한 것을 아시고 주님께서 싸우신다. 우리가 해결할 수 없음을 아시고 주님께서 해결해주신다. 응답받는 여러분 되시기 바란다. 이 말씀을 절대 지식으로만 받지 마시기 바란다. 언약으로 잡으시라.
결론
신 2:25 오늘부터 내가 천하 만민이 너를 무서워하며 너를 두려워하게 하리니 그들이 네 명성을 듣고 떨며 너로 말미암아 근심하리라 하셨느니라
여러분들이 오직 그리스도를 붙잡게되면 만민이 무서워하는 존재로 만들겠다는 것이다. 내가 힘이 쎄다고 무서워하는 것이 아니다. 내가 오직 그리스도가 될 때 하나님께서 그렇게 만드시는 것이다. 네 명성을 듣고 떨며 너로 말미암아 근심하게 될 것이라고 하신다. 오직 그리스도 되면 주님께서 되어지는 축복을 주시겠다고 약속하고 계신다. 이 축복받는 여러분 되시기를 예수님 이름으로 축원한다.
The Blood of Christ Offered to God (Hebrews 9:11-14)

“11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
Introduction
Satan will do anything to destroy, kill, and steal from family and your personal life. If we know this spiritual truth, then we won’t be deceived by Satan. If we know the spiritual truth, then all we have to do is pray. All we have to do is pray means that God lord dis alive and will answer our prayers. When we hold onto only Jesus, no matter what kind of problem comes to us, then there is nothing for us to worry about. The reason why we live is always to fight the spiritual battle. The most important thing with fighting the spiritual battle is knowing who God is. When you know who God is, then God will work. May you receive tremendous answers. Today, we will continue to speak about Jesus from last week. Today’s title has been given to you, the blood of Christ offered to God.
1. Christ the High Priest
1) The complete tabernacle
Verse 11 - It was written that He came for good things to come. What are good things? To completely save mankind and Jesus came with the plan to save us. In other words, we spoke about last week, the way to enter into the most holy place, it was not seen and was blocked. The high priest opened the way to enter the most holy place. All of the laws of the Old Testament were all regarding what to eat, drink, and wash and all of the laws were directed towards this. The problem was that it wasn’t able to solve the spiritual problems. In other words, it could not solve the fundamental problems of mankind nor overcome the bondage of Satan.
It was not through the lineage of Adam and Eve but it was from heaven. It was a greater and more perfect tabernacle; this was referring to the body of Jesus. There are so many prelims that we cannot solve as mankind but Jesus came in the physical body to earth to solve these problems for man. This is the gospel.
2) Eternal atonement
Verse 12 - This is a very important message given to us. In the Old Testament, they had to sacrifice an animal in order to forgive their sins. God used the blood of animals to atone the sins of mankind in the Old Testament. The blood of a sacrifice was what made God happy. In other words, God doesn’t like any blood but he only liked and was happy when the blood of a sacrifice that was shed to cleanse the sins of mankind. When the blood was used to cleanse and atone the sins of mankind, God worked miraculously and tremendously. The animal didn’t just die, this death means nothing but when the blood was shed to atone and cleanse the sins of man, it was a tremendous work of God. The blood of a sacrifice means that it was significant and an important work for God. Let us look in Exodus. They used the young lamb to sacrifice for the passover. Through this young lamb, the idolatry that was within Egypt was completely broken down. This young lamb’s blood was tremendous and caused great work that seemed like nothing. Not only that but through this young lamb, the pharaoh had no choice but to completely kneel before the young lamb’s blood. Not only that tube through the young blood lamb’s it allowed the Red Sea to split. Through the young lamb’s blood, even though it was an animal's blood, it caused tremendous work to occur. From here, this is what it is saying.
Even though great works arose, only through the blood of Christ, He entered the Most Holy Place. An animal's blood caused these great works but Jesus himself came and shed His blood. The True High priest came and shed His blood. Through an animal’s blood, great works happened in Exodus but when Jesus’ blood was spilled on the cross, He gave eternal redemption. Not only that but through this one event, He entered into the Most Holy Place. He solved all problems and opened the way to meet God once and for all. there is something we must hold onto from here. When we hold onto the blood of Jesus, what will happen? We know that great works arose when the animals blood was shed. For 400 years, the Israelites were in salvery but they were freed due to animals’ blood so there is nothing to worry about when the blood Jesus was shed for us. Through this, we must believe in this realistically. Through the blood of Jesus, it can solve any problem. Do you believe in this? You need to truly believe in this. The moment you believe, then it will be solved.
2. The Working of the Eternal Holy Spirit
1) The meaning of the sin offering
Verse 13 - this is referring to the cross of Jesus. We always heard about the blood of the goat and calves. They sprinkled the ashes of the heifer and the blood of goats.
This is referring to the event that was spoken in Numbers 16:41-42 (“On the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, 'You have killed the people of the Lord.' 42 Now it happened, when the congregation had gathered against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tabernacle of meeting; and suddenly the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.”) - Korah the son of Izhar and his people revolted against Aaron’s high priesthood. These people challenged Aaron and Moses as well as God and because they did this, this caused a great disaster and an earthquake to occur that killed 250 people. Due to this event, this caused a great mourning for the people who died. They are so angry because their people were killed so they came to attack Aaron and Moses. When Aaron and Moses saw, this allowed God to show up and defend them. God told them to stand behind Him and God caused a plague, a contagious disease, to spread. When Moses saw this, he commanded Aaron to light an incense and take this incense to the people. When Aaron heard the command from Moses, he ran with the incense and ran to the people. When he went and lit the incense, the contagious disease stopped spreading but despite this, this still killed 14,000 people. There is something imprinted there. Why did Moses command Aaron to light an incense? the smoke that came from the incense, this was referring to the prayer of Christ. Only through the prayer of Jesus to God that saved mankind.
From here, God showed a great command that solved the sins of man and this was written in Numbers 19:9-10 (“Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin. 10 And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them.”) - they would catch an animal and burn the entire animal even their flesh and feces. From here, the ashes of the heifer was a symbol of what Jesus would do. They would burn the entire animal, even the flesh, blood, and feces of the animal. This is all referring to the three offices of Jesus. This all symbolizes what Jesus would do. What is important is that the entire animal had to be burned and they had to gather all of their ashes. They had to gather all of the ashes and wash it in water, and only then would their sins be cleansed and atoned for. From here, we need to think about this deeply. They were commanded to burn the entire animal including the flesh, blood, and feces and to gather the ashes. This is all referring to Jesus. This means that Jesus had to completely die in order to remain only as ashes. You need to hold onto this message through the week and meditate on it. When Jesus died, how did He die? He had to completely die and remain as ashes so that he could save mankind. They had to burn all of the animals and wash the ashes in water, and only then the sins of mankind were forgiven. When Jesus died for us, he didn’t just die on the cross and wasn’t an insignificant event but when Jesus died of red, He had to completely die and didn’t allow any part of Him to remain.
2) The working of the Holy Spirit
Verse 14 - What this means is that in the Old Testament, atonement was made through animals as well. If that is so, Jesus who was sinless, the Son of God had to shed His blood. What does this mean? Jesus had to completely die and had to become only ashes. When He completely died for us, this means that He has granted us complete salvation. While I meditated on this message, I realized how much God loved us because He allowed His one and Only son to be sacrificed and to become ashes. He loves you so much that He completely killed His son in order to turn his son into ashes. From here, we need to feel the entire emotions of this event. We have such superficial faith. For us, God completely sacrificed and killed Jesus but we are only searching after our own greed and desires. Though the complete death of Jesus, He completely saved us.
Verse 14 “Cleanse your conscience from dead works” - Through the death of Jesus, He saved and cleansed our conscience. Dead conscience means that we have received salvation but we are still bound by Genesis 3, 6, and 11. Mankind are living in dead conscience. They only want to live as their own god. Thy want to live for their own happiness. They want to live for only success for themselves. Mankind are thinking that this is the most wise way to live but this is only killing our conscience and this thought form our dead conscience. God knowing this, that is why Jesus had to die completely for us.
From this, Jesus had cleansed our dead conscience. How? It was through the eternal spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, Jeuss had saved and cleansed us from our dead conscience. The Holy Spirit resurrected Jesus from death. The Holy Spirit had saved and cleansed our dead conscience.
That is why it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”) - The Holy Spirit worked that through Jesus when ve become new creation. Our salvation is not something that we change temporarily but we have become a new creation eternally through the work of the Holy Spirit. When we become a new creation this means that we need to live a new life. We are in the midst of a new life of great blessings.
The way of the cross was fulfilled through Genesis 3:15 (“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”) - this was fulfilled. This means that through the death of Jesus, it was a complete death. What does the death of Jesus mean? Jesus died by completely taking and bore of our sins. When Jesus bore all of our sins and died this means that we have been completely forgiven of our sins. Our sins have become ashes. The fate that or sins have been completely ashes , this means that the power of satan has been completely destroyed. The Jews had completely killed Jesus and Satan thought that Jesus had died and that was it. Satan didn’t know that through the death of Jesus that Jesus would bear all of the sins of mankind. This is the great power of the ark of the cross. When we follow after the covenant, then no problem will become a problem. Satan's head was completely crushed and all sins were finished. We are children of God. As children of God,we have the authority and power to break down Satan. If that is so, no spiritual problem will be a problem and no spiritual war is a war for us to lose against.
3. Spiritual Warfare
1) Checking your spiritual problems
Then we need to think about our problems. We need to receive all the answers that God has prepared for us but we are not able to. We need to check and examine our heart. when we are alone, are you really at peace? When you are alone, what do you think about the most? What kind of thoughts come to you? Do you think about your scars and problems? Do you think about money problems? What are you thinking about? Are you able to pray and think about the word of God? When you are alone, your thoughts will determine your future. When people look at you, do people always see a smile? Do people around you look angry all of the time? Do people around you always look serious and full of worries? Examine this. This is your current spiritual state. How many times throughout the day do you smile? This is the most imprint question in life. There are always people who have a worrisome face. This means that they don’t have no peace. They are always bound by their worries and problems. Spiritually speaking, this means that they are bound by Satan. Satan is controlling your thoughts and heart. Then of course you are not able to smile and feel happy. When you feel this way, you need to immediately fight the spiral battle. God has been completely victors for you.
I think there are remnants who have fallen in lethargy and powerless. I am sure there are some church officers like that. They always feel like everything is a hindrance or nascence ot them. This is the working of satan. As students, you don't want to study. This didn’t develop randomly but this is the work of Satan. When you become powerless constantly, there are people who are living in powerlessness and don’t want to continue to live. Then this is the work of Satan undoubtedly. Mental patients come from this. A smart child who fall into this, then they cannot come out of this. They don’t want to study anymore and want to give up on everything, and become completely lethargic. Satan will use that person to make that person foolish. This is spiritual warfare. Jesus has solved all problems. Jesus Christ who is victorious is with you.
Thirdly, whenever any incident comes or good things come to you, we need to examine it correctly. When success comes to a person, you start looking for something to criticize about that person. You need to hold onto his situation correctly. You need to quickly realize that you are living as a slave to satan. Satan is making you stay as a slave like Adam and Eve. You want to become like God and you can’t bear to see other people be more successful than you are. You are bound by what Satan and by the nature of Genesis 3, 6, and 11. That is why you have no choice but to be bound by the disaster and judgment of the Nephilim and Noah’s flood. You are in a spiritual battle. You need to examine yourself spiritually.
Ephesians 6:17-18 (“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”) - This verse speaks about how we can fight the spiral battle. Hold onto the word of God and enter deeply. When you hold onto the word and pray, then you will receive absolute healing. This is because God's word has power. The Holy Spirit has the power to destroy Satan. Receive this answer. You need to imprint the word.
2) New imprint
How do you win the spiritual battle? We need to hold onto what God wanted the Israelites to hold onto in the wilderness. God did not give the Israelites any kind of military training but what God wanted them to do was to keep the three feasts in the wilderness and to build the tabernacle. This was what God focused on and told them repeatedly. You need to center around the tabernacle, this means to focus on the word of God. The three feasts, this is all referring to the spirit, guidance, and the hope of heaven. In other words, what God wanted from the Israelites in the wilderness was to focus on and seek after Christ. Many people did die in the wilderness. Why did they die? Those who weren’t only Jesus, they died. The people who weren’t able to enter into the land of Canaan in the end were those who were in disbelief. When you don't; become only Jesus, then you have no choice but to perish. If we lack the background and power, then we must hold onto and seek after only God. When you seek after only God, then all problems will turn into a blessing. Truly receive answers.
Deuteronomy 3:22 (“You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.”) - When we hold onto only Jesus then God knows that you are weak so God will fight for you. God knows that we cannot solve it on our own so God will solve it for you. Receive answers. Don’t just hold onto this message with your own knowledge but hold onto it as your covenant.
Conclusion
Hold onto Deuteronomy 2:25 (“This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the nations under the whole heaven, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.”) - Hold onto only Jesus and when you do this, then all people and nations will be fearful of you. People will not fear you because you are powerful but because God makes you fearful since you are able to hold onto only Christ. When you become only Christ, then God will pour these blessings to you. May you receive great blessings. May you place your hands over your weaknesses once again and enter into prayer.
