“고레스를 통한 구원의 약속"

1 섬들아 내 앞에 잠잠하라 민족들아 힘을 새롭게 하라 가까이 나아오라 그리고 말하라 우리가 서로 재판 자리에 가까이 나아가자 2 누가 동방에서 사람을 일깨워서 공의로 그를 불러 자기 발 앞에 이르게 하였느냐 열국을 그의 앞에 넘겨 주며 그가 왕들을 다스리게 하되 그들이 그의 칼에 티끌 같게, 그의 활에 불리는 초개 같게 하매 3 그가 그들을 쫓아가서 그의 발로 가 보지 못한 길을 안전히 지났나니 4 이 일을 누가 행하였느냐 누가 이루었느냐 누가 처음부터 만대를 불러내었느냐 나 여호와라 처음에도 나요 나중 있을 자에게도 내가 곧 그니라 5 섬들이 보고 두려워하며 땅 끝이 무서워 떨며 함께 모여 와서 6 각기 이웃을 도우며 그 형제에게 이르기를 너는 힘을 내라 하고 7 목공은 금장색을 격려하며 망치로 고르게 하는 자는 메질꾼을 격려하며 이르되 땜질이 잘 된다 하니 그가 못을 단단히 박아 우상을 흔들리지 아니하게 하는도다 8 그러나 나의 종 너 이스라엘아 내가 택한 야곱아 나의 벗 아브라함의 자손아 9 내가 땅 끝에서부터 너를 붙들며 땅 모퉁이에서부터 너를 부르고 네게 이르기를 너는 나의 종이라 내가 너를 택하고 싫어하여 버리지 아니하였다 하였노라 10 두려워하지 말라 내가 너와 함께 함이라 놀라지 말라 나는 네 하나님이 됨이라 내가 너를 굳세게 하리라 참으로 너를 도와 주리라 참으로 나의 의로운 오른손으로 너를 붙들리라 11 보라 네게 노하던 자들이 수치와 욕을 당할 것이요 너와 다투는 자들이 아무것도 아닌 것 같이 될 것이며 멸망할 것이라 12 네가 찾아도 너와 싸우던 자들을 만나지 못할 것이요 너를 치는 자들은 아무것도 아닌 것 같고 허무한 것 같이 되리니 13 이는 나 여호와 너의 하나님이 네 오른손을 붙들고 네게 이르기를 두려워하지 말라 내가 너를 도우리라 할 것임이니라 14 버러지 같은 너 야곱아, 너희 이스라엘 사람들아 두려워하지 말라 나 여호와가 말하노니 내가 너를 도울 것이라 네 구속자는 이스라엘의 거룩한 이이니라 15 보라 내가 너를 이가 날카로운 새 타작기로 삼으리니 네가 산들을 쳐서 부스러기를 만들 것이며 작은 산들을 겨 같이 만들 것이라 16 네가 그들을 까부른즉 바람이 그들을 날리겠고 회오리바람이 그들을 흩어 버릴 것이로되 너는 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하겠고 이스라엘의 거룩한 이로 말미암아 자랑하리라 17 가련하고 가난한 자가 물을 구하되 물이 없어서 갈증으로 그들의 혀가 마를 때에 나 여호와가 그들에게 응답하겠고 나 이스라엘의 하나님이 그들을 버리지 아니할 것이라 18 내가 헐벗은 산에 강을 내며 골짜기 가운데에 샘이 나게 하며 광야가 못이 되게 하며 마른 땅이 샘 근원이 되게 할 것이며 19 내가 광야에는 백향목과 싯딤 나무와 화석류와 들감람나무를 심고 사막에는 잣나무와 소나무와 황양목을 함께 두리니 20 무리가 보고 여호와의 손이 지으신 바요 이스라엘의 거룩한 이가 이것을 창조하신 바인 줄 알며 함께 헤아리며 깨달으리라 21 나 여호와가 말하노니 너희 우상들은 소송하라 야곱의 왕이 말하노니 너희는 확실한 증거를 보이라 22 장차 당할 일을 우리에게 진술하라 또 이전 일이 어떠한 것도 알게 하라 우리가 마음에 두고 그 결말을 알아보리라 혹 앞으로 올 일을 듣게 하며 23 뒤에 올 일을 알게 하라 그리하면 너희가 신들인 줄 우리가 알리라 또 복을 내리든지 재난을 내리든지 하라 우리가 함께 보고 놀라리라 24 보라 너희는 아무것도 아니며 너희 일은 허망하며 너희를 택한 자는 가증하니라 25 내가 한 사람을 일으켜 북방에서 오게 하며 내 이름을 부르는 자를 해 돋는 곳에서 오게 하였나니 그가 이르러 고관들을 석회 같이, 토기장이가 진흙을 밟음 같이 하리니 26 누가 처음부터 이 일을 알게 하여 우리가 알았느냐 누가 이전부터 알게 하여 우리가 옳다고 말하게 하였느냐 알게 하는 자도 없고 들려 주는 자도 없고 너희 말을 듣는 자도 없도다 27 내가 비로소 시온에게 너희는 이제 그들을 보라 하였노라 내가 기쁜 소식을 전할 자를 예루살렘에 주리라 28 내가 본즉 한 사람도 없으며 내가 물어도 그들 가운데에 한 말도 대답할 조언자가 없도다 29 보라 그들은 다 헛되며 그들의 행사는 허무하며 그들이 부어 만든 우상들은 바람이요 공허한 것뿐이니라. (사41:1-29)
서론
강남 세브란스 병원 암센터에 이희대 박사라는 분이 소장으로 계신다. 그 사람은 암 전문가라고 한다. 본인도 암과 싸우면서 12번이나 수술을 했던 사람이다. 그렇게 암과 싸우면서 병원에서 암환자들을 돌보며 치료도 해줬다고 한다. 그 분이 암에 대해 이야기 하기를, 사람을 죽이는것은 암세포가 아니라 그의 마음속에 절망이다 라고 했다. 만일 암 환자가 죽음에 대한 두려움만 극복한다면 넉넉히 이길수 있다 말했다. 정말 중요한 말씀 같다. 암 뿐만 아니라 어떠한 불치병도 그 병에 대한 두려움만 극복하면 이길수 있을것이다. 이 치유는 인간의 힘으로만 치유 불가능하다 하는 마음에 절망하는 순간 벌써 그 병에 지고 있는것이다. 여기서 이길수 있는 힘은 무엇인가. 그리스도 안에서 믿음을 통해 이길수 있다. 그리스도의 능력은, 시공간을 초월하기때문에 그리스도 능력을 붙잡는 순간에 성령께서 역사하심으로 치유가 가능하다. 지난 시간에 우리가 하나님을 너무 모르는 현실을 보며 하나님을 더욱더 잘 알자 하는 말씀을 잡았다. 오늘도 마찬가지이다. 오늘 하나님이 어떠한 역사를 이루어 가시는지, 하나님의 위대하심을 다시한번 발견해야겠다.
1. 하나님의 재판 God's judgment
1) 하나님의 증언 God's testimony
사 Isaiah 41:1-4
지금 1절에 보면 하나님께서 온 열방에 선포하시는 내용이 나온다, “섬들아 내 앞에 잠잠하라 민족들아 힘을 새롭게 하라 가까이 나아오라 그리고 말하라 우리가 서로 재판 자리에 가까이 나아가자”. 열방의 심판자 되시는 하나님께서 모든 나라 불러 그의 재판자리에 세우시는 내용이다. 많은 이들 앞에서 2절 말씀을 하시는것이다, “누가 동방에서 사람을 일깨워서 공의로 그를 불러 자기 발 앞에 이르게 하였느냐”. 이것은 이사야의 예언 150년후에 바벨론을 멸망시킬 고레스에 대해 이야기 하는것이다. 앞으로 내가 150년 후에 고레스 라는 사람을 일으킬것인데, 그가 어떤일을 할것인가? 너희들이 보는바와 같이 바벨론을 멸망 시키겠다는것이다. 그러면서 2절 중간에, “열국을 그의 앞에 넘겨 주며 그가 왕들을 다스리게 하되 그들이 그의 칼에 티끌 같게, 그의 활에 불리는 초개 같게 하매” 라고 나와있다. 하나님께서 고레스를 일으켜 그에게 권세를 주어 가는곳곳마다 열국을 다스리고 왕들을 굴복시키게 해 그들이 티끌같게 하신다는 말이다. 3절, “그가 그들을 쫓아가서 그의 발로 가 보지 못한 길을 안전히 지났나니”, 바벨론이라는 누구도 점령하지 못한 막강한 강대국을 하나님께서는 고레스 통해 간단히 정복시키는 일을 행하시겠다는것이다. 그런데 사실 고레스가 나타나 바벨론을 하룻밤에 피도 한방울 흘리지않고 간단히 점령한것을 볼수있다. 4절 말씀에 나온다, “이 일을 누가 행하였느냐 누가 이루었느냐 누가 처음부터 만대를 불러내었느냐 나 여호와라 처음에도 나요 나중 있을 자에게도 내가 곧 그니라”. 이 지구상에 막강한 제국을 세우는것도, 멸망시키는것도 바로 나다 라는 말씀이다. 나 여호와라, 처음도 나요, 나중에 있을 자에게도 내가 곧 그니라. 우리가 확실히 잡을것은 온세계의 역사를 주관하시는 이는 세계 지도자들이 아닌 하나님 이시라는 사실이다. 그렇다면 세계의 각나라만 주관하시나, 각 개인의 삶, 건강, 모든것도 하나님께서 전부 주장하신다. 우리가 이것에 먼저 확신을 가져야겠다. 내 모든 삶은 하나님께서 완전히 주장하고 계신다 하는 사실 말이다.
2) 이방인의 반응 The reaction from gentiles
사 Isaiah 41:5-7
그런데 5절 말씀에, “섬들이 보고 두려워하며 땅 끝이 무서워 떨며 함께 모여 와서”, 이것이 무슨 말씀이냐면, 고레스가 세상을 점령하며 열방과 민족을 공격한다 하니 모든 민족이 두려움에 빠진것이다. 그 두려움에 떨며 이 사람들이 한 일들이 6,7절에 나온다, “각기 이웃을 도우며 그 형제에게 이르기를 너는 힘을 내라 하고 7 목공은 금장색을 격려하며 망치로 고르게 하는 자는 메질꾼을 격려하며 이르되 땜질이 잘 된다 하니 그가 못을 단단히 박아 우상을 흔들리지 아니하게 하는도다”. 하나님이 세운 고레스통해 공격이 들어온다고 하니 이 이방사람들이 모여 하는 말이, 그렇다면 우리가 더 확실하고 강력한 우상을 만들어 세우자 하며 우상을 만들기 시작 하는것을 볼수가있다. 여러분, 이것이 이방사람, 믿지 않는 사람들의 본성이다. 문제가 생길때 하나님을 찾지 않고 우상을 찾는것이다. 분명 아무런 힘도 없는 우상이다. 우리가 바닷가에 가면 사람들이 모래성을 쌓아놓은것을 볼수가 있는데 그것은 큰 파도가 오면 순식간에 사라져버릴 성이다. 이렇듯 순식간에 없어질 그 무언가에 이것이 우리를 살게해줄거라 믿으며 기대는것이다.
2. 하나님의 재판 이유 God's reason for judgement
1) 유다를 버리시지 않는 이유 The reason the Lord did not abandon Judah
사 Isaiah 41:8-13
그런데 한편, 8절 말씀에 보면, 하나님께서 유다를 향하여 말씀하시는것이 나온다. 언약안에 있는, 믿음안에 사람들을 어떻게 보시는지 8절에 나온다, “그러나 나의 종 너 이스라엘아 내가 택한 야곱아 나의 벗 아브라함의 자손아”. 이것은 하나님께서 이스라엘 백성을 부르신 세가지 이름인것을 알수 있다. 그들에게 주신 축복을 이 말씀 가운데 볼수가있다. 이것은 이스라엘 뿐만 아닌 여러분들에게 주신 축복인것을 알수있다. “나의 종 이스라엘아” 이 말은 하나님의 일을 하는 나의 종 이라는 뜻이다. “내가 택한 야곱아” 라는 말은 하나님 나라 위해 선택받은 민족임을 뜻한다. 하나님 나라의 일을 위해 선택받은 자녀들을 이야기한다. “나의 벗 아브라함의 자손아". 아브라함은 언약의 씨, 창 3:15의 후손이 네 몸으로부터 나오게 될것이다 하는 언약을 잡은 족속을 말하는것이다. 이스라엘 백성이 받은 가장 큰 축복이 이것이다, 너희 자손을 통해 그리스도가 나오게될것 이라 하는 사실이다. 왜 그렇나? 그 메시야가 나오셔야만이 전 세계에 백성들을 살릴수있는 축복의 그리스도의 역사, 십자가가 나타날수 있기에 그러하다. 그리스도를 붙잡는자들은 모두 이러한 축복 받는다는 말이다. 여기서 우리가 다시 한번 말씀 통해 생각 해보아야할것이 있다. 하나님께서 고레스를 일으키신다 하셨는데 그 이유가 뭔가. 그것은 두말할것 없이 이스라엘을 구원하시기 위해서이다. 그렇다면, 우리가 역사를 볼때 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님 앞에 구원받을만한 일을 한 적이 전혀 없다. 물론 아브라함이나 솔로몬 같은 이들은 그러했지만 이사야 시대 이후에는 수많은 경고 속에도 배반하며 반역과 우상숭배로 하나님의 속을 그렇게도 썩였던 민족이다. 하나님께서는 너무 화가 나 완전히 멸망시키시고 성전도 다 부숴버리고 포로로 보내셨다. 그런데도 불구하고 하나님께서 고레스를 세워 다시 이스라엘을 구원 하시겠다는 말이다. 다른 민족들은 죄 지으면 완전히 없애버리시는데 이스라엘 백성들은 끝까지 구원시키겠다 하시는말이다. 이것은 참 중요한 사실이다. 그렇다면 왜 그렇게 하셨나? 바로 아브라함의 씨 때문이다. 그의 후손 통해 그리스도가 나와야하기 때문이다. 언약잡은 자는 하나님께서 절대 멸망하게 두지 않으시고 끝까지 붙잡으시는 이유다. 그렇게 이어서 9절에 말씀하신다, “내가 땅 끝에서부터 너를 붙들며 땅 모퉁이에서부터 너를 부르고 네게 이르기를 너는 나의 종이라 내가 너를 택하고 싫어하여 버리지 아니하였다 하였노라”. 땅끝에 포로로 보내진 이들을 불러들이는거다. 마지막 부분에, “내가 너를 택하고 싫어하여 버리지 아니하였다 하였노라” 왜 그렇나. 그리스도가 오셔야 하니 말이다. 세계복음화 위해, 만국을 살리기 위해, 택한 백성을 자녀로 삼으시기 위해 모든것을 참으시는 모습이다. 언약 잡은자가 이렇게나 귀중한것이다. 그러면서 다시 10절에 말씀 하신다, “두려워하지 말라 내가 너와 함께 함이라 놀라지 말라 나는 네 하나님이 됨이라 내가 너를 굳세게 하리라 참으로 너를 도와 주리라 참으로 나의 의로운 오른손으로 너를 붙들리라”. 나는 절대 그렇게 하지 않아, 나는 너의 하나님이니 내가 너를 붙들어줄게. 하나님께서 한번 자녀 삼으시고 택하신 족속은 절대 버리지 않으신다라는 사실 꼭 붙잡아야겠다. “너를 도와 주리라 참으로 나의 의로운 오른손으로 너를 붙들리라” 내 능력의 손으로 너를 붙들겠다 이 말이다. 그러면서 11절에 하나님이 고레스 통해 하실일을 자세히 계획하신것이 나온다, “보라 네게 노하던 자들이 수치와 욕을 당할 것이요 너와 다투는 자들이 아무것도 아닌 것 같이 될 것이며 멸망할 것이라”. 이 바벨론이 그렇게 수치를 주고 모욕과 고통을 주었었는데 그러한 강대국이 멸망해 아무것도 아닌 나라가 되어버리고 결국 존재 자체가 사라지게 될것이다 하는 말씀이다. 12절에 이것이 한번으로 끝나지 않을것임을 말한다, “네가 찾아도 너와 싸우던 자들을 만나지 못할 것이요 너를 치는 자들은 아무것도 아닌 것 같고 허무한 것 같이 되리니”. 완전히 하나님께서 멸망 시키실것을 말한다. 13절, “이는 나 여호와 너의 하나님이 네 오른손을 붙들고 네게 이르기를 두려워하지 말라 내가 너를 도우리라 할 것임이니라”. 고레스 통해 완전히 점령 시키고 난 뒤에 내가 너의 손을 붙잡고 너를 도와 너의 고향인 예루살렘으로 돌아오도록 하겠다 하는 말씀이다.
2) 이스라엘의 포로귀환 Israel's return from captivity
사 Isaiah 41:14-18
왜 굳이 먼곳에 보내셨다가 다시 돌아오게 하시나. 예수님이 오실 땅인데 그 땅을 준비해야 되니 와야 하는것이다. 그러면서 14절 말씀에, 참 기가막힌 말씀 하신다. “버러지 같은 너 야곱아, 너희 이스라엘 사람들아 두려워하지 말라 나 여호와가 말하노니 내가 너를 도울 것이라 네 구속자는 이스라엘의 거룩한 이이니라”. 내 사랑하는 야곱아- 가 아니라 이 버러지 같은 야곱아– 하셨다. 이 말은 원어로 톨라 라는 말인데 똥에 있는 구더기, 벌레를 뜻한다. 다시 말하면, 하나님 앞에 더러운 벌레처럼 살았던 너 이스라엘아– 또 다른 말로는, 바벨론에서 벌레 취급 받으며 살았던 너 이스라엘아, 하시는것이다. 그러나 내가 있으니 두려워 말라 너를 내가 도울것이고 네 구속자는 이스라엘의 거룩한 이시니라 라고 하시는것이다. 그러면서 구속해서 어떠한 일을 하실것인지 15절에 말씀하신다, “보라 내가 너를 이가 날카로운 새 타작기로 삼으리니 네가 산들을 쳐서 부스러기를 만들 것이며 작은 산들을 겨 같이 만들 것이라” 예루살렘으로 돌아오게 하신 뒤에 하나님께서 유다 백성들을 사용하실것이다 라는 말이다. 이들을 통해 정복하는 그런 역사를 이루게 하실거라는 말이다. 이것은 작은 산을 가지고 겨같이 판판하게 만들겠다 라는 말은 이 땅에 오셔서 치유사역을 이루시겠다는 말이다. 이스라엘 백성 사용하심으로 초대교회 복음 운동 시작하실것임을 말하는 내용이다. 16절, “네가 그들을 까부른즉 바람이 그들을 날리겠고 회오리바람이 그들을 흩어 버릴 것이로되 너는 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하겠고 이스라엘의 거룩한 이로 말미암아 자랑하리라”. 하나님의 놀라우신 능력 통해 흑암세력을 무너뜨리는것이다. 18절, “내가 헐벗은 산에 강을 내며 골짜기 가운데에 샘이 나게 하며 광야가 못이 되게 하며 마른 땅이 샘 근원이 되게 할 것이라”. 황망한 땅에서도 샘이 난다는 뜻은 생명의 역사를 일으키실것을 말한다. 바로 그리스도의 생명의 역사가 그 땅으로부터 나타나게 될것임을 말한다. 참으로 놀라운 예언의 말씀이다.
3. 하나님의 선포 God's proclamation
1) 예루살렘의 기쁜 소식 Joyous news to Jerusalem
사 Isaiah 41:21-29
예수님이 오셔서 어떤 일을 하실것인가 하는것까지 이사야 통해 말씀 하시는것이다. 또 한편 21절 말씀 보니, “나 여호와가 말하노니 너희 우상들은 소송하라 야곱의 왕이 말하노니 너희는 확실한 증거를 보이라” 라고 되어있다. 이것은 흑암 세력에게 하나님이 다시 선포하시는것이다. 우상 숭배자 뿐만 아니라 흑암 자체에 공표 하시는 모습이다. 22절에 증거로 보일것을 말씀하신다, “장차 당할 일을 우리에게 진술하라 또 이전 일이 어떠한 것도 알게 하라 우리가 마음에 두고 그 결말을 알아보리라 혹 앞으로 올 일을 듣게 하며”. 너희 정말 능력이 있다면 앞으로 일어날 일에 대해 예언이라도 해보라 이 말씀이다. 뿐만 아니라 23절 말씀에, “뒤에 올 일을 알게 하라 그리하면 너희가 신들인 줄 우리가 알리라 또 복을 내리든지 재난을 내리든지 하라 우리가 함께 보고 놀라리라”. 네가 능력이 있다면 앞으로 복을 내리든 재난을 내리든 네 능력껏 해봐라 하는 말씀이다. 네가 뭐라도 보여줄수 있다며 내 참 대단하다 라며 놀라는 표정을 보이겠다 하는 말이다. 그러나 24절에, “보라 너희는 아무것도 아니며 너희 일은 허망하며 너희를 택한 자는 가증하니라”. 너희들은 아무것도 아니지 않느냐, 네가 섬기는 우상도 마찬가지이다. 너희를 택한 자는 가증하니라 - 우상을 섬기는 자는 하나님 앞에 가증 스럽고 미친 자들이다 하는것이다. 예를 들어 한 여자가 백화점에 갔는데 아주 멋있는 남자 마네킹이 서있는것을 발견하고는 거기에 반해 홀딱 사랑에 빠져 이 자를 내 남편으로 삼고싶다 품는것에 비유 되는 일이다. 만약 그의 남편이 이를 보면 얼마나 기가 막히겠는가 하는것이다. 바로 그것이 하나님의 심정이다 라는 말이다. 정신이 나간 놈들아 제발 정신을 차려라, 마네킹이 그렇게 좋냐. 마네킹을 우상에 비유해보았다. 아무 능력도 없는것이 마네킹이다. 마찬가지로 돌로, 나무로 만든 마네킹 같은 우상에 빌며 복 달라고 절하는모습을 하나님 께서는 정신 차려라 하며 25절의 말씀을 하신다, “내가 한 사람을 일으켜 북방에서 오게 하며 내 이름을 부르는 자를 해 돋는 곳에서 오게 하였나니 그가 이르러 고관들을 석회 같이, 토기장이가 진흙을 밟음 같이 하리니”. 하나님께서는 이사야 통해 앞으로 150년 후에 유다가 그 날에 멸망 당할텐데 다시 회복 시키는데에 고레스를 사용할것이다 라고 말씀하시는 내용이다. “누가 처음부터 이 일을 알게 하여 우리가 알았느냐 누가 이전부터 알게 하여 우리가 옳다고 말하게 하였느냐 알게 하는 자도 없고 들려 주는 자도 없고 너희 말을 듣는 자도 없도다". 그 누구도 몰랐는데 하나님이 고레스라는 사람 통해 역사를 이루시고 그의 손을 통해 나라들을 점령하고 이 모든것을 하나님이 역사를 통해 성취하실것을 말씀했는데 그런 그가 바로 나 여호와 라는 말이다. 그것에 대해 그 누구도 이야기 하는 사람이 없다, 알려주는 사람이 없다, 내가 혼자 다 하는것이다 라는 말씀이다. 여러분, 우리가 정말 잡을것이 이것이다. 우리가 우리 안에 모시는 하나님이 어떠한 분 인가 하는것이다. 우리는 창세전에 벌써 예정되어 자녀 삼으시고 이 땅에서 하나님 나라 이루겠다 작정하신 존재이다. 그렇기 때문에 우리가 그리스도 바로 잡고 언약 안으로 들어가면 얼마나 큰 축복 받을수 있는가 하는것이다. 27절 말씀이다, “내가 비로소 시온에게 너희는 이제 그들을 보라 하였노라 내가 기쁜 소식을 전할 자를 예루살렘에 주리라”. 시온에게 너희는 이제 그들을 보라 하셨다. 앞으로 예루살렘 가면 많은 선지자들을 보내 증거 할테니 그들의 말을 잘 들으라 하시는것이다. 그들이 전하는 소식이 바로 기쁜 소식이다 라는 말씀이다. 예루살렘에 그리스도가 오신다는 기쁜 소식을 전할것이다 라는 말이다. 모든 말씀이 전부 그리스도를 가르키는것이다. 그리스도가 얼마나 우리에게 귀중한가 하는 사실 다시 붙잡아야한다. 29절, “보라 그들은 다 헛되며 그들의 행사는 허무하며 그들이 부어 만든 우상들은 바람이요 공허한 것뿐이니라.” 우상들은 헛된것들이다. 우리가 좋아하는 돈, 명예 그 모든것도 바람에 지나지 않는 것들이다. 돈이 날 행복하게 해줄거라 찬양하고 기대는데 이것은 아무것도 아닌것이다. 사람들은 명예를 얻기 위해 생명까지 걸어가며 정복해나간다. 그것도 하나님께서 훅 불면 순식간에 날아갈 것들이다. 모든것이 다 우상이다. 보이는것 뿐만 아니라 안 보이는것 까지 전부 마찬가지인것이다. “그들의 행사는 허무하며 그들이 부어 만든 우상들은 바람이요 공허한 것뿐이니라.” 모두가 속고있다 말씀하는것이다. 여기서 우리가 잡을것은 오직 그리스도만 이 참 생명이며 참 구원을 주실 유일한 분이시다 하는것이다. 41절에 두려워하지 말아야 할 이유가 바로 그리스도만 소망하기 때문이라고 한다.

그러므로 우리는 237 나라, 세계복음화를 위한 망대를 세워야겠다. 정말 우리가 그리스도로, 복음으로 망대를 세우는것이다. 그렇게 되기 위해 먼저 기도의 플렛폼을 세워야한다. 요 14:26, “보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하리라.” 우리는 플랫폼을 만들기 위해 복음을확실히 잡아야 한다. 이 말씀 통해 성령께서 역사하시고 가르치신다. 그렇게 모든것을 가르치고 생각나게 하셔 보좌의 축복 누리게 하신다. 참 보좌의 축복을 누리는 자, 그가 플랫폼을 만드는것이다. 그렇다면 어떻게 되나, 기도의 망대를 만들어야한다. 이사야 60:1 말씀이다, “일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이라” 우리에게 빛되신 그리스도가 임하시게 되면 어떤 일이 일어나도 괜찮다는 말이다. 노바디(Nobody) 도 괜찮다, 아무도 없어도 된다. 왜냐, 하나님께서 계시고 그가 인생을 주관하시며 모든 사건을 주장하고 계시니 말이다. 그러니 우리가 할것은 빛을 소유하고 그것을 비추고 다니면 된다. 마지막으로 기도의 안테나를 세워야한다, 행 9:17, “아나니아가 떠나 그 집에 들어가서 그에게 안수하여 이르되 형제 사울아 주 곧 네가 오는 길에서 나타나셨던 예수께서 나를 보내어 너로 다시 보게 하시고 성령으로 충만하게 하신다 하니.” 우리 각자 현장에서 이 안테나의 역할을 누려야겠다. 다메섹의 아나니야에게 사울을 붙이신 역사가 우리에게도 임할줄을 믿는다. 정말 우리가 성령과 복음으로 플랫폼 만들며 기도로 망대를 세우면 현장의 안테나로 사람들을 붙여주신다. 이러한 축복이 여러분 삶에 있을줄 믿는다.

결론 맺겠다. 사 60:2-3, “보라 어둠이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그의 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니 3 나라들은 네 빛으로, 왕들은 비치는 네 광명으로 나아오리라.” 우리가 분명 느끼고 있지만, 이 세상은 3단체 통해 네피림 운동이 일어나고있는 사실이다. 모든 문화, 명상, 게임 - 이것들 통해 중독으로 접신운동이 일어나는 현실이다. 모든 사람들이 흑암에 잡혀가는 때에 플랫폼을 만들의 기도의 망대를 세워야할것이다. 그렇게 빛을 발하게 될때 하나님께서 예비하신 사람을 붙여주실줄 믿는다. 그렇게 세계복음화 하는 최고의 사역자들 되기를 예수 그리스도 이름으로 축원한다.
The Promise of Salvation through Cyrus (Isaiah 41:1-29)

Let them come near, then let them speak; Let us come near together for judgment.’ 2 ‘Who raised up one from the east? Who in righteousness called him to His feet? Who gave the nations before him, And made him rule over kings? Who gave them as the dust to his sword, As driven stubble to his bow? 3 Who pursued them, and passed safely By the way that he had not gone with his feet? 4 Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ' I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.' 5 The coastlands saw it and feared, The ends of the earth were afraid; They drew near and came. 6 Everyone helped his neighbor, And said to his brother, "Be of good courage!" 7 So the craftsman encouraged the goldsmith; He who smooths with the hammer inspired him who strikes the anvil, Saying, ‘It is ready for the soldering"; Then he fastened it with pegs, That it might not totter.’ 8 ‘But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend. 9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, 'You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: 10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Introduction
There was a professor, Dr. Lee, at the Cancer Society Hospital in Gangnam, Korea. He is a specialist in cancer but he was someone who endured 12 cancer treatments as a cancer patient. He is famous for going through and fighting with cancer. Even though he had cancer, he was taking care of cancer patients. The professor talked about cancer, what kills man is not cancer cells but the amount of despair that kills people. If that cancer patient could just overcome the fear of death, then they can overcome cancer. I think this is very important. Even if it is not cancer, if we can overcome our fears and despair, then we can overcome anything. It is impossible for man but if we have despair towards God, then it is impossible to fight and win. What will be our strength to overcome our despair? We can overcome it with our faith in Christ. With Christ’s strength, it has the power to overcome all things and He possesses the power of heavens and earth. Last week, we talked about how little we know God.
1. God's Judgment
1) God's testimony
Verses 1-4 - God gathered all nations and people to the place of judgment. In front of all people, God continued to speak in verse 2. Calling people of the East is talking about a nation in the East that destroyed Babylon. God will raise up people from the East, Cyrus of Persia to destroy Babylon. God gave them, Persia, great authority and power, where they could conquer many nations and kings.
Verse 3 - Everyone feared Babylon as a great nation but with a simple command and plan of God, He destroyed Babylon in one instant by Persia. In one night, Babylon was destroyed by Cyrus.
Verse 4 - This means that these great nations and powerful rulers of this world, it was God who raised them up and gave them power. We need to be assured of this fact that God is the one who holds the power of this world and heavens, not the rulers or leaders of this world. Does God have power over just nations and events of history but God governs over our lives as well. We must be assured of this. Our entire lives are under the control of God.
2) The reaction from gentiles
Verses 5-7 - When Persia declared that they will destroy Babylon, many nations, rulers, and people became very afraid.
Verses 6-7 - When the people heard that Persia was going to attack them, their reaction was to raise up their idols and put their faith more on their man-made idols. The problem with man is that when a problem comes, man looks for their idols rather than God. When you look at the ocean, people build these sandcastles but when a big wave comes, it will destroy the sandcastle easily. This is the same thing that man was doing. Their idols were useless in front of their problems.
2. God's Reason for Judgement
1) The reason the Lord did not abandon Judah
Verses 8-13 - God speaks to Judah, His people of faith. This was how God was seeing His people of Israel. We can see the names that God called Israel, these three names. This is talking about the blessings that God gave to Israel. Not only did God bless Israel but this is also the same blessing that God has given to us. God called His people, His servants. His servants who will do God’s work. They were chosen, they were chosen by God as His people. God is calling us as His children of His kingdom. The people of the descendants of Abraham; who was Abraham? He was the seed of the covenant as spoken in Genesis 3:15.
The greatest blessing that Israel received was that within the lineage of the Israelites that the offspring of the woman will come, Jesus Christ, the Messiah. He was the Messiah who will save all mankind through the cross. They were able to hold onto the covenant of the coming of Jesus Christ. Why did God say that He will save them from Cyrus? Why Cyrus though? If you really look at the Israelites, they really didn’t do anything to deserve God’s salvation. If you look at the great figures of faith like Abraham and Solomon, they were great but if you look at the other Israelites, they did a lot of things to torment God like worshiping idols and committing a lot of sin. God was so angry at them that He destroyed their nation and made them go into captivity and slavery. But despite that, God established Israel again and said that He will destroy Babylon through Cyrus, and free them from captivity. Why was that? This was because they were from the seed of Abraham. This was because Jesus Christ will come through their lineage. This was a lineage that God could not destroy.
Verse 9 - God said that even though He was disappointed in them but didn’t abandon them. This was because Christ had to come. For world evangelism, God tolerated all things for this sake. This is why we are so important who hold onto God’s covenant.
Verse 10 - God will never abandon us, He is our God. This was what God was telling the Israelites. God said that He will comfort them and hold onto them. If God holds onto you, then He will never let you go. With His righteous right hand, God said that He will hold us up.
Verses 11-12 - Babylon tormented Israel a lot but this powerful nation, Babylon became destroyed in an instant. This was not said just once but multiple times. God said that He will destroy Babylon once and for all.
Verse 13 - Through Persia, God will destroy Babylon and will help Israel return back to their homeland. Why did God send them away and bring them back to their home? They had to prepare the land for the coming of Jesus, the Messiah.
2) Israel's return from captivity
Verses 14-18 - This is astounding. God didn’t call Israel His loved one but called them a worm. This means that the Israelites lived a fifty life before God like a warm, a maggot. They were treated like worms and maggots under Babylon’s captivity but God said for them not to fear because He will call them out as their redeemer.
Verse 15 - After God helped Israel return back to their homeland, God will use them to conquer the world. God will help them conquer the world by doing the healing movement. By using Jesus Christ, He will use Jesus and His people to heal and restore the world.
Verse 16 - Through the great power of God, God will destroy the power of darkness.
Verse 19 - God brought upon the spring of water in the desolate lands, which means that God will show His great power and source of life. This is an astounding message that shows the great power of God. This power of God is referring to what Jesus Christ will come to do.
3. God's Proclamation
1) Joyous news to Jerusalem
Verses 21-29 - God was declaring to darkness and the darkness of idolatry.
Verse 22 - God was asking if idols could prophecy and prophecy towards the future? God was asking if idols possessed the power that He possessed.
Verse 23 - If these idols and people had power, then they could try to overcome problems and curses. God was demanding that these idols and people show their power before Him.
Verse 24 - These idols are nothing before God. They possess no power whatsoever. God was saying that worshiping idols was considered absolutely crazy and insane. Imagine if there is a doll before you that you become attracted to and make it your wife or husband. If your husband or wife finds out about this, imagine what your husband and wife will do? I am sure your husband will think this is absolutely insane. This is the heart that God has when people worship idols. God is telling them to come back to their senses. These idols that are made out of wood and stone, people are just mindlessly worshiping them. They have no power nor possess any power to prophecy but people of this world are staking their lives to worship them. God was demanding His people to come to their senses.
Verse 25 - Through Isaiah, God prophesied that Israel will fall but they will be restored by Cyrus by destroying Babylon.
Verse 26 - No one expected that this would happen but it was God who prophesied that all of this will happen. It was God who was only powerful enough to fulfill this prophecy. God alone was the one who fulfilled this prophecy. This is what we must hold onto. Who is the God we worship? Before creation of this world, we were prepared and prepared how we will live in this world. That is why if we stay inside the covenant then we can receive tremendous blessings.
Verse 27 - God was proclaiming His word and telling them to listen carefully. When they return back to their homeland, they will proclaim good news. The good news was the Messiah will come. The Messiah will come to save mankind. All of this was happening because Christ was coming. This shows how much God expected for Jesus Christ to come. This shows how important it was for Jesus Christ to come to this world.
Idols are just empty and full of vain. You chase after money but money is like the wind. No matter how much you chase after it, in the end, it will all disappear. You stake your life for success but the moment God blows away your success, it will all disappear. Everything is an idol. What you see and don’t see can become your idol. Everyone in this world is being deceived. We must hold onto the fact that Jesus Christ is the true source of life. The reason why we must not be afraid is because Jesus Christ who is the true source of life and hope is within you.
2) Bartizan for the 237 nations
Through Christ and the gospel, we must raise up the bartizans.
Make the platform of prayer (John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”) - In order to make a platform, we must relay and hold onto the gospel. Through the word, we receive the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit.
Make the bartizan of prayer (Isaiah 60:1 “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”) - If Christ is upon us and the light of Christ is upon us, then no matter what happens, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t even matter if you are nobody because God is within you. All we have to do is enjoy and relay this light of Christ.
Make the antenna of prayer (Acts 9:17 “And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, 'Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.' ”) - In our fields, we must build the antenna. Just like Ananias, God put Paul right next to him, this same work will take place for us. If we stake our lives for the gospel and raise up the bartizan of prayer, then God will raise up disciples in our fields. May this great blessing come upon our lives.
Conclusion
Isaiah 60:2-3 “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” - This world is being dragged by the 3 organizations and by the Age of Nephilim. We can all feel this. Through culture, games, transcendental meditation, and addiction, it has caused the possession movement to take place in this world. All mankind is captivated and controlled by this darkness. What is the only way to come out of this? We must raise up the platform and the bartizan of prayer. When we shine the light of Christ, then God will attach disciples in our lives. May we become the greatest workers of God who can save this world.
