“여호와의 날"

“1 아모스의 아들 이사야가 받은 바 유다와 예루살렘에 관한 말씀이라
2 말일에 여호와의 전의 산이 모든 산 꼭대기에 굳게 설 것이요 모든 작은 산 위에 뛰어나리니 만방이 그리로 모여들 것이라
3 많은 백성이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 오르며 야곱의 하나님의 전에 이르자 그가 그의 길을 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니 이는 1)율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것임이니라
4 그가 열방 사이에 판단하시며 많은 백성을 판결하시리니 무리가 그들의 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 그들의 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을 들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습하지 아니하리라

지난주간에 우리가 많은 은혜를 받았다. 성공 이라는 것이 무엇인가 하는 메시지 주셨다. 여러분이 생각하는 성공은 무엇인가. 지도자가 되는것, 아니면 돈을 많이 버는것, 아니면 남들보다 유명해지는것이 성공이라고 생각하시나? 제가 생각하기에 성공은 내 생각 하는대로 응답 받는것 이라고 생각한다. 이렇듯 생각이 참 중요하다. 누구든지 자기가 생각 하는 대로 그 응답이 떨어진다. 그래서 많은 사람들이 내가 생각 한 대로 응답 받았다 라고 이야기 한다. 그러나 포인트는 성공 그 뒤에 오는것, 거기에 진짜 응답이 숨겨져있다. 최고의 성공이 무엇인가. 어떻게 해서 그렇게 성공 했습니까? 물으면 보통 불신자들은 운이 좋아서 그렇습니다 하고 대답 한다. 한국에 손흥민 축구 선수가 영국에서 가장 많은 골을 넣었다고 한다. 어떻게 그렇게 할수 있었습니까 인터뷰 했더니 운이 좋아서 그렇습니다 라고 대답했다. 불신자들은 이렇게 많은 경우를 운에 기대는것을 볼수가 있다. 우리가 생각하는 최고의 응답은 바로 보좌의 축복 으로 부터 온다는 사실을 붙잡으셔야 한다. 최고의 성공은 보좌의 축복 누리는데 부터 온다. 요셉이 성공 했다고 성경에 나온다. 요셉은 애굽의 국무총리가 됐다. 그러나 우리는 요셉을 국무총리로 만든 배경이 있다는 사실에 주목 해야한다. 창세기 41:38에 바로가 요셉을 보며 말한다, “이와 같이 하나님의 영에 감동된 사람을 우리가 어찌 찾을 수 있으리요”. 요셉이 국무총리가 될수 있었던 것은 그의 뒤에 보좌의 축복이 임하였기 때문이다. 그는 계속적으로 보좌의 축복을 누리고만 있었을 뿐이다. 누릴때 하나님께서는 시공간을 초월하는 축복의 역사를 허락하신다. 우리가 이 축복을 누리자 하는것이다. 여기서 최고의 성공이 나타나게 되어있다. 내가 상상하지도 못한 그런 일들이 나타난다. 이 축복속에 들어있게 되면 이 축복을 받을 자를 대적할 경쟁자는 없다. 하나님께서 축복 하시니, 누가 막을수가 있나. 그래서 오늘 말씀 통해서 우리가 정말 하나님의 축복속에 들어가야겠다.
1. 메시야 왕국의 통치 The reign of the Messianic Kingdom
1) 시온산의 영광 The glory of Mount Zion

지난 시간 부터 이사야서를 가지고 말씀을 전하고 있는데, 이사야서 1장에 대해 설교 할때도 성경 구절 중심으로 했다. 그 이유는 무엇보다도 성경말씀 그대로 여러분에게 전달하는것이 중요하다 생각 했기 때문이다. 그래서 오늘도 성경 말씀을 중심으로 하나 하나 해석을 해나가면서 말씀을 드리겠다. 오늘 특별히 성경 말씀 집중해서 보시기 바란다. 2절 말씀 보면, “말일에 여호와의 전의 산이 모든 산 꼭대기에 곧게 설것이요” 라고 나온다. “말일”, 이라고 나온다. 우리도 마지막 날, 말세, 이런 말을 많이 듣는다. 성경의 말일 이라 함은 사단이 지배했던 세상이 끝나는 심판의 날 이라는 의미를 가진것을 알수가 있다. 그동안에 아담과 하와가 타락하고 난 세상은 사단의 지배 아래 있었다. 그런데 그 시대가 이제 끝났다는 것이다. 요엘서 2:31, “여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 어두워지고 달이 핏빛 같이 변하려니와." 성령이 강림하는 날이 여호와의 크고 두려운 날 이라고 말하고 있다. 성령이 이 땅에 임하면 모든 흑암 무너지는 날 이라는 것이다. 오늘 말씀에 꼭 잡을것은 여호와의 전의 산 이라고 나와있다. 이것은 시온산을 이야기한다. 시온산 이라는것은 다윗이 여부스 족속을 멸하고 예루살렘에 세운 산이다. 그래서 시온산 이라 함은 하나님이 계신곳 이라는 상징성이 있다. 히 12:22 말씀 보면, “너희가 이른 곳은 시온 산과 살아 계신 하나님의 도성인 하늘의 예루살렘과 천만 천사와” 라고 쓰여있다. 구원받은 우리가 천국에 임하게 되는데, 임하는데 그곳이 또 시온산과 하늘의 예루살렘이라고 한다. 바로 시온산은 천국을 의미하고 주님이 계신 곳을 의미한다. 벧전 2:6에 아주 귀중한 말씀 나온다, “내가 택한 보배로운 모퉁잇돌을 시온에 두노니 그를 믿는 자는 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리라" 여기서 보배로운 모퉁잇돌은 무엇을 의미하나. 지난시간에 이야기 했듯이 그리스도를 의미한다. 유대인들은 예수님을 죽였지만 그 죽으심이 사실은 생명 살리는 그런 놀라운 역사가 일어나게 한 버려진 모퉁잇돌 이라는것이다. 이 버린 돌을 통해서 하나님의 왕국이 임하게 되는것이다. “시온에 두노니” 라고 말씀 하고있다. 이 말은, 예수 그리스도의 십자가를 통해 세워진 주님의 몸된 교회를 의미 하고있다. 그래서 2절 말씀 마지막 보면, “만방이 그리로 몰려들것이라” 라고 나온다. 십자가에 승리하신 그리스도의 사역 통해 수많은 백성들이 이제는 그리스도의 복음을 듣기 위해 모인다 라는 말이다. 교회로 몰려든다는 말이다. 3절에 이야기 한다, “많은 백성이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 오르며 야곱의 하나님의 전에 이르자”. 많은 백성들이 가자, 구원의 길이 열렸다 하며 기쁨의 소리를 지르며 주님의 몸된 교회로 몰려드는것이다. 그가 그의 길을 우리에게 가르치실것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니 이는 율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘으로 부터 나올것이라. 생명 살릴 복음이 시온에서 부터 나온다, 교회로 부터 나온다, 그곳으로 나아가자, 이 말이다. 예루살렘으로 부터 나올것 이라는 말은 거기서 부터 복음이 퍼져나갈것 이라는 말이다.
2) 메시야의 통치 The Messiah's Reign

메시야가 사단의 세력 완전히 꺾고 나신 다음에 통치를 시작하시며 점점 하나님의 왕국이 이루어져 나가는것을 볼수있다. 점령 하는곳 마다 어떤 일이 생기나 이것은 4절에 나온다, “그는 열방 사이에 판단 하시며 많은 백성을 판결하시리니 무리가 그들의 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 그들의 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을 들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습하지 아니하리라". 사단이 아담과 하와를 타락시키고 온 세상을 점령하면서 수 많은 사람들을 죽인것을 볼수가 있다. 특히 바벨탑 사건 이후로 수많은 사람들이 민족과 민족으로 나누어 진것을 볼수가있다. 인류 역사를 보면 전쟁을 통해 수많은 사람들이 서로를 죽였다. 민족이 민족끼리 나라가 나라끼리 싸운다. 왜 그런 짓을 하나. 사단에게 붙잡힌 상태라 그렇다. 사단의 종노릇 하면서 수많은 사람들이 그렇게 살았다는것이다. 수많은 사람들이 그렇게 지옥으로 빠져들게 사단이 만들었다. 그런에 이제 그리스도가 왔으니 다 끝났다 이것이다. 많은 사람들이 복음을 듣고 각 민족 지역으로 흩어졌던 사람들이 모이기 시작하는것이다. 그리스도 안에 있으니 이제는 한 몸 한 형제 된것이다. 옛날에는 민족끼리 서로 싸우고 대적했는데 이제는 그리스도를 중심으로 하나가 되기 시작한다는것이다. 그렇게 앞으로 다시는 전쟁이 없으리라 말하고있다. 메시야의 통치 아래 이런 일이 일어난다고 한다. 우리가 왜 전도를 해야 하는가, 왜 복음을 전해야 하는가 에 대해 나온다. 복음을 전하지 않으면 민족이 민족을 등지고 가족 까지도 적이 될수 밖에 없는것이다. 성령으로 하나되어 그리스도를 모시게 되면 이제는 한 몸이 되는것이다. 그래서 우리가 나가서 살려야 하는것이다. 오늘 이사야는 5절에 외치고 있다, “야곱 족속아 오라 우리가 여호와의 빛에 행하자". 지금 메시야의 왕국이 임해 엄청난것을 이룰텐데 지금 이스라엘 백성들은 죄 가운데 빠져 하나님께 범죄 하고 있다는것이다. 6절 말씀 보면, “주께서 주의 족속 야곱 백성을 버리셨음을", 버렸다고 나온다. 얼마나 이들이 하나님 앞에 범죄 했으면 하나님께서 그들을 버렸다고 나온다. 도대체 무짓을 했기에 이러냐 이 말이다. “그들에게 동방 풍속이 가득하며 그들이 블레셋 사람들 같이 점을 치며 이방인과 더불어 손을 잡아 언약하였음이라." 얼마나 타락 했는지 이방인의 점술에 빠져서 무당까지 되는 지경까지 이른 모습 이라는것이다. 하나님의 백성 이라면 하나님의 말씀 따라 살고 그에 순종하며 하나님 주시는 복을 받게 되어있는데 그것을 놓치니 점쟁이 한테 가서 미래를 알려달라 하고 불신자 처럼 산다는 것이다.
2. 유대 나라의 죄악 The sins of the Jewish nation
1) 말씀을 떠난 상태 The state of being apart from the Word

분명한것은 레20:6에 하나님이 말씀 하신다, “접신한 자와 박수무당을 음란하게 따르는 자에게는 내가 진노하여 그를 그의 백성 중에서 끊으리니." 하나님께서는 점술을 따르는 자 까지 멸하리라 했다. 놀랍게도 교회를 다니는 사람 중에도 점을 보러 다니는 사람들이 있다. 얼마나 큰 범죄인지 모른다. 하나님께 인도 받지 못하고 점쟁이 말을 따라 산다는 것이다. 도대체 왜 그러고 있나 이것이다. 7절 말씀에 나온다, 그 땅에는 은금이 가득하고 보화가 무한하며 그 땅에는 마필이 가득하고 병거가 무수하며”. 하나님께서 다윗과 솔로몬 통해 이스라엘에 많은 축복 주셨다. 그런데 이방 나라의 장성함과 부를 보고 아, 이들이 이방신을 섬겨서 강대국이 되었고 부를 얻었구나, 그러니 이방신을 섬기자 하고 저를 따라가 찬양 한다는 말이다. 그래서 6절 마지막 보면, 이방인과 더불어 손을 잡아 언약을 했다고 나온다. 당신 말이 맞아, 바알신을 믿어서 성공했으니 나도 하나님 제끼고 당신을 따라 이방신을 섬기겠다 이렇게 된것이다. 완전히 영혼까지 사로잡힌 모습이다. 8절 말씀 보시기 바란다. 그런 사람들이 어떠한 삶을 사는지 나온다. “그 땅에는 우상도 가득함으로 그들이 자기 손으로 짓고 자기 손가락으로 만든 것을 경배하여 천한 자도 절하며 귀한 자도 굴복하오니 그들을 용서하지 마옵소서.” 자기 손으로 만든 우상을 붙잡고 그것이 복을 줄것이라 믿으며 섬기는 모습이다. 여러분, 고전 12:2 말씀 보면, “너희도 알거니와 너희가 이방인으로 있을 때에 말 못하는 우상에게로 끄는 그대로 끌려 갔느니라." 하나님 놓치게 되면 누구든지 이방신과 우상에게 끌려 갈수밖에 없다. 제가 멕시코 갔을때 굉장히 충격 받고 놀란것이 있다. 길가 가다보면 작은 통을 만들어 놓고 마리아 비슷한 동상을 만들어 그 밑에 음식을 가져다 놓는다. 거기에 가서 기도 하는 사람들을 보았다. 하나님을 놓치고 말씀을 놓치니 똑같은 모습이구나 싶었다. 이사야는 탄식을 하고 있다. 그들을 용서하지 마옵소서 하고 탄식을 하는 모습이다. 하나님을 섬기고 하나님만 경배 해야 할텐데 하나님을 경배 하지 않고 스스로 우상을 만들어 거기에 절 하고 있는 모습이다.
2) 여호와의 날 The Day of the Lord
사 Isaiah 42:8
사 Isaiah 2:11-17
하나님은 이것을 통해 아주 중요한 메시지를 우리에게 주시고 계신다. 바로 이사야서 42:8이다, “나는 여호와이니 이는 내 이름이라 나는 내 영광을 다른 자에게 내 찬송을 우상에게 주지 아니하리라”. 하나님은 영광 받을 자 이지 절대 영광을 다른자에게 빼앗길 자 가 아니시다. 그런데 이스라엘 백성들이 다 다른 신, 우상에게 영광 돌리고 있는것이다. 그래서 이들을 심판 하는것이다. 너희들이 내게 영광 돌리지 않는다면 내가 스스로 내 영광을 찾겠다고 말씀 하신다. 하나님이 얼마나 화가 나셨으면 이런 말씀 하시나. 11절 마지막에도 나타난다. “여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으시리라". 17절에 또 나타난다, “여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으실것이요" 어떻게? 그들을 낮추고 홀로 영광 받으실것 이라고 말씀하신다. 세번이나 그들을 낮추심으로 교만함을 꺾겠다고 말씀 하시는것이다. 하나님께서 너무 진노 하셔서 11절에 계속 말씀 하신다, “그 날에 눈이 높은 자가 낮아지며”. 12 절에 또 나타난다, “대저 만군의 여호와의 날이 모든 교만한 자와 거만한 자와 자고한 자에게 임하리니 그들이 낮아지리라". 17절에도, “그 날에 자고한 자는 굴복되며 교만한 자는 낮아지고 여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으실 것이요.” 교만, 거만, 자고한 자 모두 같은 말이다. 이들이 어떤 교만을 가지고 있는지는 13절에 나온다, “레바논의 높고 높은 모든 백향목과 바산의 모든 상수리나무와”, 이 나무들 처럼 높아졌다는 말이다. 그 높고 높은 백향목이나 상수리 나무는 땅에 깊이 뿌리를 내려 아무리 폭풍이 몰아쳐도 절대 끄떡 하지 않을것, 다시 말씀 드리면, 내가 가진 부와 명예는 절대로 누가 흔들지 못할것 이라 말하는것이다. 뿐만 아니라 14-15절에 나온다, “모든 높은 산과 모든 솟아 오른 작은 언덕과 모든 높은 망대와 모든 견고한 성벽과” 높을대로 높아진 교만을 표현 하는것이다. 내 힘과 세력을 그 누가 꺾을수 있나 이미 말이다. 하나님도 안중에 없는것이다. 16절에 계속 이야기 한다, “다시스의 모든 배와 모든 아름다운 조각물에 임하리니" 그들의 교만함이 문화 예술 산업 까지도 미치는것을 볼수가 있다. 우상 숭배자들이 이루는 모든 기업, 문화, 예술산업 전부 사탄의 문화가 깃든것을 볼수가 있다. 음란, 폭력, 우상숭배, 이것들을 위해 모든 문화가 만들어지는것을 볼수가 있다. 큰 건축물을 만들어 놓고 우리 신이 최고다 자랑한다. 하나님께서는 그것을 전부 없애 버리겠다는 것이다. 그래서 여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으실것 이라 말하는것이다. 이런 상태를 가만 두지 않으시고 심판을 내리겠다 하신다. 심판을 내리시는데, 하나님께서는, 내가 사단을 물리 침을 통해 영광을 받으시겠다 이 말이다.
3) 떠난자의 심판 Judgment upon the departed
사 Isaiah 2:10, 19-21

벧후 2 Peter 3:10
내가 영광을 받을때, 다시 말하면 하나님 떠난 자들이 심판 받는 시간에 그들은 하나님의 영광이 두려워 피하게 될것 이라고 나와있다. 피하게 될것 이라는 말이 세번이나 나온다. 10절 말씀 보면, “너희는 바위 틈에 들아가며 진토에 숨어 여호와의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피하라" 라고 이야기 하고 있다. 하나님의 진노가 얼마나 무서운지 아느냐, 너희는 바위 틈과 진토에 들어가 숨어라 이 말이다. 19절에 또 이야기 하고 있다, “사람들이 암혈과 토굴로 들어가서 여호와께서 땅을 진동시키려고 일어나실 때에 그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피할 것이라”. 여러분 이 여호와의 심판의 날은 그 어떤 누구도 견딜수 없다. 이세상의 마지막 날에 이를 여호와의 날은 인간이 최후로 심판 받는 날을 이야기 하고있다. 하나님을 떠나고 대적하는 자들이 받을 심판을 말하는것이다. 계시록 6:16에 나온다, “산들과 바위에게 말하되 우리 위에 떨어져 보좌에 앉으신 이의 얼굴에서와 그 어린 양의 진노에서 우리를 가리라”. 하나님의 심판이 임하는 날이 너무나도 무섭고 떨려서 도망가는 사람들이 산들과 바위를 보며 외치는 말이 제발 내 위로 떨어져 달라 하는것이다. 그 어마 어마한 바위들이 몸 위에 떨어지면 몸이 남아나지 않을것인데 하나님의 심판이 얼마나 무서우면 차라리 그것이 낫다 하는 말이다. 마지막 날의 지옥의 심판이 얼마나 무서운지 차라리 그렇게 되는게 낫겠다 하는 말이다. 마지막 심판, 지옥불의 심판이 얼마나 무서운지를 알고 차라리 내가 그리 죽었으면 좋겠다 말하는것이다. 하나님을 떠난자들, 하나님을 모르는 불신자들이 이러한 죽음을 당하게 될것 이라는 말이다. 이 말을 들을때 어떤 마음이 드시나. 하나님 모르는 사람들, 하나님 떠난 불신자 불쌍히 여길수 있어야 한다. 내가 만일 이 복음 전하지 않으면 저 사람들이 저런 고통 가운데, 차라리 내가 바위에 눌려 죽는것이 낫겠다 라고 외쳐될것 이라는것을 생각 하셔야한다. 20절, 21절에 무서운 말씀 나온다. “사람이 자기를 위하여 경배하려고 만들었던 은 우상과 금 우상을 그 날에 두더지와 박쥐에게 던지고 21 암혈과 험악한 바위 틈에 들어가서 여호와께서 땅을 진동시키려고 일어나실 때에 그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피하리라.” 그동안에 모았던 돈, 금, 은 덩어리 아무 소용 없다. 땅속에 두더지를 보고 네가 가져라, 나는 필요없다, 나는 우선 살아야겠다 하는 모습이다. 그 심판은 어마어마 하다. 벧전 3:10에 마지막 심판의 날에 대해 말한다, “주의 날이 도둑 같이 오리니 그 날에는 하늘이 큰 소리로 떠나가고 물질이 뜨거운 불에 풀어지고 땅과 그 중에 있는 모든 일이 드러나리로다”. 물질이 최고라 쫓아다니는 사람들은 어떻게 되나. 모든것이 다 끝나는것이다. 우리가 전도해야 할 이유가 바로 이것이다.
3. 하나님의 절대주권 God's absolute sovereignty
1) 절대언약 The absolute covenant

CVDIP(갈 Galatians 2:20, 롬 Romans 12:1-2, 행 Acts 20:24, 롬 Romans 14:8, 렘 Jeremiah 33:2-3)
우리에게 주신 사명이 바로 이것이다. 우리는 어떻게 해서든 이 사람들을 살려야 한다. 우리가 아니면 그 누구도 이 사람들 살릴자가 없다. 정확한 복음을 전해서 이 사람들 살려야 한다. 정말 오늘 주신 말씀 굳게 붙잡고 이처럼 고통 받을 사람들을 생각하며 이들에게 복음 전할 말씀을 준비 하시고 현장 놓고 기도 하시기를 바란다. 지난주 1부 메시지 에서 답을 찾았다. 우리는 하나님의 절대 주권을 믿고 그의 절대 언약 잡아야 한다. 마 24:14, “천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증언 되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파 되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라". 하나님은 그 누구도 고통 받는것을 원하지 않으신다. 그래서 이 복음이 빨리 땅끝까지 전파 되기를 원하시고 계신다. 그때까지 기다려주시겠다 이 말이다. 이 절대 언약이 여러분들의 언약 되기를 바란다. 이를 위해 우리가 어떻게 해야 하나. 나의 CVDIP 잡으시기를 바란다. 잡고 깊이 기도하시기를 바란다. 언약잡고 정말 기도 하면 하나님께서 분명히 길을 열으실줄 믿는다. 제가 잡고 기도하고 있는 CVDIP 성경구절 다섯가지 있다. Covenant-갈2:20, Vision-롬12:1-2, Dream-행20:24, Image-롬14:8, Practice-렘33:2-3 이다, 여러분도 이 구절들 잡고 기도 하시기 바란다. 우리가 분명히 잡아야 할 절대 배경 꼭 누리시라.
2) 절대배경 The absolute background
마 Matthew 12:28-29
보좌의 축복(3,9,3) The blessing of the Throne (3, 9, 3)
우리의 배경은 마12:28-29 이다, “그러나 내가 하나님의 성령을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내는 것이면 하나님의 나라가 이미 너희에게 임하였느니라”. 여러분 속에 흑암이 이미 꺾였고 하나님 나라가 여러분 속에 이미 임했다. 하나님의 보좌의 축복과 능력이 여러분에게 이미 임했다. 그렇다면 우리가 할것은 나에게 주신 3,9,3 보좌의 축복을 매일 누리는것이다. 틀림없다. 이것을 누리는것이 하나님께서 얼마나 기뻐하시는 일 인지 모른다. 정말 이 말씀 잡고 중심을 놓고 이대로 이루어지게 해주옵소서, 기도하시라는 말이다. 이 말씀이 저에게 주신 말씀인줄 믿습니다, 내가 이 말씀을 성취하는 자리에 들어가게 하옵소서 기도 하는것이다. 성경 구절 하나 하나 읽어 가면서 고백 하면서 기도 하시라. 오순절에 성령충만한 마가다락방의 역사가 여러분에게 임하면 상상 초월의 축복이 임할줄을 믿는다.
3) 절대응답 The absolute answer

이렇게 우리가 절대응답의 축복을 누려야겠다. 마 6:33, “그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라". 우리가 보좌의 축복 누리고 기도하면 이 모든것을 우리에게 더하여 주시겠다 이것이다. 그의 나라와 그의 의에 모든것이 다 들어있다. 그러니 이 모든것을 여러분들에게 더해주실것이다. 그래서 5력을 놓고 기도 하시라. 영력을 더해 주소서. 영력, 지력, 체력, 경제력 인력을 채워주소서. 제가 영력을 놓고 기도 할때는 네가지 붙잡고 기도한다. 말씀의 능력, 기도의 능력 허락해 주시고 전도의 문을 열어주시어 주의 역사가 나타나게 해주옵소서. 또 지력을 놓고 기도한다, 지혜와 계시의 영으로 충만케 해 하나님 더 깊이 알게 하소서. 하나님의 은혜 더 깊이 체험하게 하옵소서. 체력도 놓고 기도한다. 하나님 제게 세계복음화 할 건강과 체력을 허락해 주옵소서. 경제력 놓고 기도한다, 한 나라 를 살리고 선교사 파송할 경제력 제게 허락해 주옵소서. 모든 성도, 렘넌트들 이것 놓고 기도하시기를 바란다. 경제력을 충만하게 허락해 주셔서 나라 하나를 살리고 선교사를 파송 할수 있을 만큼이 되게 기도하시라. 우리가 사는것은 먹고 살 정도면 되는것이다. 그 외에 뭐가 더 필요한가. 나머지는 생명 살리는데에 다 쓰는것이다. 하나님의 영광 위해 사용하는것이다. 하나님께서 얼마나 기뻐 하시겠나. 그럴때에 가이오의 축복이 임하게 되는것이다. 그리고 마지막으로 인력을 내게 주옵소서. 하나님 제게 세계 살릴 제자, 하나님이 가장 기뻐 하시는 생명 살릴 제자를 붙여 주시옵소서. 이렇게 기도 하시면 큰 응답이 있으실줄 믿는다. 오늘 말씀 처럼 너무 많은 사람들이 유대인들이 그랫듯 멸망속에 빠져 있는 모습을 볼수가 있다.

마 Matthew 24:45-46
말씀 맺겠다. 마 24:45-46, “충성되고 지혜 있는 종이 되어 주인에게 그 집 사람들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나눠 줄 자가 누구냐 주인이 올 떄에 그 종이 이렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종이 복이 있으리라.” 주님께서 하신 이 말씀이 여러분들이 천국 가서 주님께로부터 들을 말 일줄을 믿는다 응답 받으시기를 바란다.
The Day of the Lord (Isaiah 2:1-5)

“1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many people shall come and say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 4 He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore. 5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the Lord.”
Introduction
Last week, we received a lot of grace and through those messages, we talked about what success is. What do you think success is? Do you think becoming a leader is success? Or is making a lot of money successful? Or, becoming famous is success to you? I think success to me is receiving answers according to your prayers and thoughts. I think your thoughts are very important. Everyone will receive answers according to your thoughts. People may think that is success when they achieve what they thought about. But true success comes from somewhere else. What is true success? Many people may ask people how they are successful and nonbelievers may respond, “I guess I have good luck.” This is one soccer player who scored a lot of goals and people asked him how he was able to do this, and the soccer player said that he was just lucky. Where does our true answer and success come from? It comes from the blessing of the heavenly throne. Our true success comes from when we enjoy the blessing of the heavenly throne. When we look at Joseph, we call him successful. He became governor of Egypt but realistically speaking, there was a background that allowed Joseph to become governor.
Genesis 41:38 “And Pharaoh said to his servants, 'Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?' ” - This was what Pharaoh told Joseph. The way Joseph became governor was because he enjoyed the blessing of the heavenly throne. He constantly enjoyed the blessing of the heavenly throne. When he enjoyed that blessing, God granted him the blessing and answer of transcending time and space came to him. May we enjoy this same answer. This is where true success will come from. What you cannot fathom will come to you. When we enter into this blessing, then no one can compete or go against you. This is because God is blessing you. Who can block God’s blessings? From today’s sermon, may we enter into God’s blessings. Last week we started on the book of Isaiah. I will relay exactly what the Bible tells us. I will center today’s sermon based on the Biblical scriptures. May you concentrate on these Biblical scriptures.
1. The Reign of the Messianic Kingdom
1) The glory of Mount Zion
Verses 1-3 - Regarding the last days, we hear about this a lot. What does this mean? What does the Bible mean by this? The last days are the last days of Satan’s reign, and Satan will face judgment on those last days. After Adam and Eve corrupted, the entire world entered into the bondage of Satan. But those days have ended.
Joel 2:31 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” - The last days will become the great and awesome day of the Lord. What does this mean? When the Holy Spirit comes upon this world, the darkness will flee. What we must hold onto is that the Lord’s house will be established in verse 2. This is talking about Mount Zion. Mount Zion was the place where David built the city of Jerusalem. That is why we say that Mount Zion is the place where God resides.
Hebrews 12:22 “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels.” - We who are saved, when we go to heaven, it is referred to Mount Zion and heavenly Jerusalem. Mount Zion is referring to heaven and where God resides.
1 Peter 2:6 “Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, 'Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.' ” - This is an important Biblical scripture. From here, what does the chief cornerstone referring to? Last week we spoke about how it is referring to Jesus Christ. Even though Jews abandoned and killed Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ became the greatest way to salvation. Jesus Christ who was abandoned and rejected by mankind became the chief cornerstone, the royal throne. The temple of Zion is referring to the church that Jesus Christ raised up His death and resurrection; in other words, His body was established.
2) The Messiah's Reign
Verses 4-5 - Through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, people and the world were able to hear about the gospel and His resurrection. People were gathering at the church to listen. Many people were proclaiming the way of salvation was opened and they were praising and rejoicing. From here, the way of salvation is proclaimed, they were saying that they must go this way so they were heading towards Mount Zion. It will appear in Jerusalem, this means that the gospel will spread from Jerusalem. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, The kingdom of God is continuing to spread and be built.
What happened after Jesus’ resurrection and HIs work on the cross? It is seen in verse 4. Satan made mankind fall into sin and corruption, and this caused the fall and suffering of the world. With the Tower of Babel incident, division among people and nations arose. If you look in world history, through wars so many people were killed. Nations fighting against nations, numerous people were killed. Why did this happen? The world was in the control of Satan. This is the reason why. People have no choice but to live in this kind of way in suffering and destruction. So many people are falling into the fate and destiny of hell. After Jesus Christ came, this has all ended. So many people can hear the gospel now and hope has been given to us. All divisions among nations have ended and we can now become one. We can all become one body and we are now brothers and sisters in Christ. Nations were enemies with each other but now, in Christ, we are one body. Now, wars will cease. This shows the reign of the Messiah will come. Why should we evangelize? Why do we have to share the gospel? If we don’t share the gospel, nations and families will become enemies against each other. When we become one in Christ, then we become one body in Jesus. With the gospel, we must save the world.
Verse 5 - Right now, Messiah came and performed a great work of establishing His kingdom but all Israel did was commit sin against God.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” -
2. The Sins of the Jewish Nation
1) The state of being apart from the Word
Isaiah 2:6-9 “For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners. 7 Their land is also full of silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures; Their land is also full of horses, And there is no end to their chariots. 8 Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made. 9 People bow down, And each man humbles himself; Therefore do not forgive them.” - Israel committed so much sin against God that God said that God has forsaken His people. What did Israel do against God? They were so corrupted that they fell into superstition and shamanism. If you are a child of God, you should live a life following and obeying God’s word but instead, they are trying to find their ways and future within the ways of superstition, shamanism, and idols.
What is absolute is seen in Leviticus 20:6 “And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.” - God said that He will kill people who fall into the ways of superstition and shamanism. What is absolute is that there are church people who go to shamans to get their fortunes told. This is such a great sin. They are not able to get guided by God but they are following the words of shamans instead. Why are they doing that?
Isaiah 2:7 - Through David and Solomon, God blessed His people and nation. When people and nations saw how King David and Solomon were living, they thought that they were blessed because they were following idols.
Isaiah 2:9 - That is why they decided to worship idols so that they could become rich and successful like King David and Solomon. What they didn’t know that they were being controlled by Satan.
Isaiah 2:8 - The idols that they made, they would bow down to them instead of worshiping God.
1 Corinthians 12:2 “You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.” - Anyone who worships idols, they have no choice but to lose hold of God. When I went to Mexico, I was so shocked. When I was on my way walking around, I saw carved images of Mary made out of food. People would bow down and pray to the statues of Mary. I realized that when you lose hold of the word of God, you have no choice but to act this way.
It said that Isaiah was in despair and pleaded with God not to forgive the people who have fallen into idols. They should’ve obeyed and followed God alone but instead, they were worshiping idols in Isaiah 2:9.
2) The Day of the Lord
God has given us an important message in Isaiah 42:8 “I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.” - God wants to receive glory and does not want his glory stolen by idols. But Israel fell into idolatry. That I why God’s judgment came upon them. What ended up happening? God said that he will find His glory because the Israelites did not glory God. God was so angry that He said this. He said this twice in Isaiah 2:11.
Isaiah 2:11-17 “The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. 12 For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low— 13 Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan; 14 Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up; 15 Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall; 16 Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops. 17 The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The Lord alone will be exalted in that day.” - What will happen? God said that He will lower the idols and raise Himself up. God said that He will lower the idols and the people who worship them, and exalt Himself three times. God was so angry that He would lower them and exalt Himself up three times. Ignorance and arrogance mean the same thing.
They were so deeply rooted in arrogance that they wouldn’t budge. This was talking about the height of their arrogance. For them, there was no God.
Isaiah 2:16 - Their arrogance was so high that their arrogance was spread to everything. The ways of the people who practiced idolatry, they were practicing the ways of Satan. It will spread into the acts of idolatry, violence, and lewdness. This all comes from the arrogance of mankind. But God said that He will destroy all of this.
Isaiah 2:17 - God alone will be exalted. God’s judgment will come upon this world.
3) Judgment upon the departed
When God’s judgment comes upon this world, He said that during this time, God will be exalted and Satan will be destroyed. Those who are separated from God, they will face judgment from God and they will tremble in fear before God’s glory. It said that these people will try to flee from Him three times.
We can talk about what arrogance God was referring to in Isaiah 2:10, 19-21 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty. 19 They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. 20 In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, 21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.” - God’s judgment is so fearful that they will try to hide themselves with rocks from this world.
Isaiah 2:19 - The day of God’s judgment, no one can block or endure it. The day of God’s judgment, judgment will come upon the people of the world. Those who are rejected and separated from God, they will face this judgment.
Revelation 6:16 “And said to the mountains and rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!' ” - The day of God’s judgment will be so fearful that the people will scream out, “Please let the rocks and mountains kill me!” They would rather die from being smashed by mountains and rocks then face the judgment of God. But God’s judgment will be so fearful that they will scream this way. God’s wrath and judgment will be so fearful that this is how the people of the world will die this way. People who are separated from God, the nonbelievers will face this kind of death. When we look at this, what kind of heart do you have? Those who don’t have the gospel, we must have pity on them. If we don’t share the gospel to them, then they will face this type of judgment and fate.
Isaiah 2:20-21 - All of the money and world possessions that you have saved up, none of that will matter when God’s judgment comes. People will throw all of that away to moles and bats because they know that they won’t need it anymore.
2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” - For those who follow the worldly possessions, all of that will come to an end. This is the reason why we must evangelize. This is our mission. We must save the people of the world. If we don’t do it, then no one else can. We must relay the correct gospel to save people and the world. Hold onto today’s sermon and save people who are in the midst of suffering and destruction. Last week we spoke about, we must believe in God’s sovereignty.
3. God's Absolute Sovereignty
1) The absolute covenant
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. ” - God does not want people to suffer. He wants the gospel to be preached to the end of the world. God is willing to wait until this happens. This is the absolute covenant that we must hold onto. How do we prepare for this? We must find our CVDIP. God will absolutely pave the way for you. Hold onto the covenant and pray, then God will open doors for you. I am holding onto this CVDIP.
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” - My vision.
Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” - My image.
Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” - My practice.
Romans 14:8 “For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”
Jeremiah 33:2-3 “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ ” - My practice. Hold onto this as your covenant. Hold onto your background.
2) The absolute background
Our background is Matthew 12:28-29 “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.” - All darkness has already been bound and God’s kingdom is upon us. The blessing of the heavenly throne is already upon us. Then, what must we do now?
Enjoy the blessing of the Throne (3, 9, 3) - If you enjoy this, then God will be so pleased. Hold onto this and pray. Pray that this is the message that God has given to you. Pray that you may enter into his message and blessings. Hold onto each Bible verse and confess. The great blessing of the power of the Holy Spirit that came upon Mark’s Upper Room will come upon you. Great and unimaginable blessings will come to you.
3) The absolute answer
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ” - When we enjoy the blessing of the heavenly throne then God promised that He will give us everything else. All blessings are within God’s heavenly throne. Then God promised that He will grant us all things. Enjoy this.
Five powers (spiritual power, intellectual power, physical power, financial power, and manpower) - Pray with the 5 powers. When I pray with spiritual power, I pray with 4 things. I pray for the power of God’s word, power of prayer, power to do world evangelism, and the power of healing.
Intellectual - Pray for the power and wisdom to understand God and the grace of God.
Physical power - Pray to have the physical strength to do world evangelism.
Financial power - Pray for the financial power to send missionaries.
Pray with this. May our remnants pray with these prayer topics so that they can save the world. Our mission in this world is to save the world. What else do we need to do? We need to live for God’s glory. How pleased will God be. Then, God’s blessing will come to us.
Manpower power - Give me the power to raise up disciples to save the world. Great answers will come to you. So many people are facing destruction just like the Israelites.
Conclusion
Matthew 24:45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.” - The word of God said today, this is the word that God will give to us when we go to heaven. May we receive answers.
