The Prophet Ministry of the Christ (Hebrews 2:10-12)

“ 10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying: 'I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.' ”
<Introduction>
Last week we received great news through the Business conference. At a church in Busan, they are praying a lot for church construction. Someone donated $30 million for church construction. When I heard about this, I realized that God is truly at work. Many church members and the pastor were praying together and God is working behind their prayers. The fact that they are able to start church construction is a blessing from God. If you look at this realistically, the church and pastor are really blessed through this construction but the people who are giving the offering are the most blessed.
Acts 20:35 (“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”) - It is a blessing to receive but you are more blessed when you give. The reason is because I thought about an answer that I received in the past. It was about 20 years ago. There was no money for Esther’s tuition for school so I prayed to God. I prayed to God that I really needed $30,000 for her tuition but during that time, there was a friend who was a CEO for a shopping center in Korea. He gave me a call and said that he had received a great amount of money and wanted to offer some money for offering. The amount of money that he wanted to send for offering for $30,000. When I heard this, I was so shocked. I realized that God answered exactly what I prayed for. Because of that person’s offering, I was able to pay for my daughter’s school tuition. Looking back at my friend who gave offering now, he ended up retiring but the retirement money that he received from his company was $4 million. If you worked for 20 years, imagine how much money you get for retirement. Not only that but he continued to receive more money after his retirement for two more years after his retirement. Also, he was given his own personal car as well as a personal driver for two years. It didn’t end there. This friend with the money that he received for retirement, he bought a building in Gangnam. From that building alone, he received $20,000 monthly. The current amount that this building costs now will probably be millions to billions of dollars. These are the answers that he received because he was able to give. It didn’t end there. It wasn’t just physical benefits that he received but his entire family were nonbelievers but this friend was able to allow all of his family members to accept Christ. All he did was give his burning and passionate love for God and gave offering but the answers that he received were tremendous. When I looked at this friend, I realized that God will take complete responsibility over his life. I am very curious about the person who gave $300 million and how his/her life will end up. You can only give offering if God allows it. If you look at it financially, in the Bible, there were people who were not able to invest in the church or give offering and ended up living a life being enslaved or full of curses. But, if you live your life to glorify God and to help the church and others, then in every aspect, we can see that God will bless that life. The reason is because God allows, guides, and controls all things. We need to see this correctly. Today’s message is very important.
1. The Status of a Son
1) Sons of God
Verse 10 - Today’s message is about Jesus Christ as the True Prophet. What are the blessings given to us as Jesus Christ as the prophet? God has granted to us the blessing of being a child of God by having Jesus Christ die on the cross for us. All things were created for God’s glory and all things and events occurred in the world all according to God’s control and sovereignty. The work of the cross of Jesus Christ did not occur by mere coincidence. The work of the cross happened perfectly according to God’s sovereignty and providence. Why was that?
“Bring many sons to glory” - Through the cross, in order to make people His sons, Jesus Christ died on the cross.
1 Timothy 2:4 (“Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”) - God’s will is for all nonbelievers to be changed and to become His sons. God is glorified when a nonbeliever becomes a child of God, a believer. That is why God blesses and is happy with evangelists who save nonbelievers and bring salvation of the name of Christ to them.
“Captain of their salvation” - This is very important. This is meaning Jesus Christ. “To make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” - The work of Christ was perfect and worthy. The conditions needed to make Jesus as the Christ was completely fulfilled. Not anyone can become Christ but there were some prerequisites that needed to be met in order for a being to be called the Christ. How can someone become Christ? Christ had to be sinless. Christ had to be without original and ancestral sin, and any form of sin. Secondly,Christ had to be completely human because He had to die for the sins of mankind on the cross. Thirdly, Christ had to be also completely God as well so that He could resurrect from His death. Only God could restore the image of God to mankind. There was another important condition. The Christ had to be the Christ and Messiah that was prophesied in the Bible.
2) The Pioneer/Captain of salvation
Genesis 3:15 (“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”) - Only the Christ that was prophesied in Genesis 3:15 had to come as the Christ. Once all of these conditions were met, then could He be the perfect Christ. Why was that? This was because Christ was the one who bought us out of sin, hell, and from the powers of Satan. That is why the fact that we were saved was not due to a mere coincidence but it was perfectly planned out by God. The one who fulfilled all of these conditions was Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us. That is why we call Jesus Christ as our True Prophet.
2. The Status of the Sanctified
1) He who sanctifies
Verse 11 - The one who sanctities is referring to Jesus Christ. The one who satisfies us is Christ alone. The moment you believe that Jesus is the Christ, you will be changed and become holy. This is an astounding event.
1 Corinthians 6:11 (“And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”) - We who were among the nonbelievers, by believing in Jesus Christ, you become changed and sanctified. This is the change that will take place. The moment you believe in Christ, then you become cleansed, sanctified, and go through a complete change. That is when you become a child of God.
Colossians 1:22 (“In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.”) - Through the death of Jesus Christ, we have been cleansed completely of our sins. That is how we were changed to be holy, blameless, and above reproach. The moment we believe in Jesus Christ, this is what happens to us. We may be lacking but through the blood of Christ and through God’s love, this is the instant change that takes place when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts. Our sins that were once so dirty, they have been cleansed completely of all of that when we became a child of God.
Revelation 20:6 (“Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”) - A lot of people have many interpretations regarding this but the first resurrection is referring to us when we accepted Jesus Christ and became a child of God. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you become a righteous child of God. The second death is referring to the second coming of Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ comes for His second coming, there will be no judgment for the people of God.
Revelation 20:6 - “Priests of God” is referring to us as evangelists. As evangelists, we have royal authority. We are children of God so every field we evangelize to, all darkness will be completely bound. Why is that? This is because Jesus Christ who is the True King resides and lives within us. These tremendous blessings are within us. Believe in this. Darkness and forces of Satan are absolutely broken down, there is nothing for us to fear. We are evangelists who live for Jesus Christ, True Priest.
2) All of one [source]
How did this take place? God who created mankind and all creations. This is a tremendous blessing.
1 Corinthians 1:30 (“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”) - This is a relationship that can never be broken between us and Christ. We were created within God’s image. We are God’s creation which means we are within Christ. It said that God bore Jesus Christ. God has given us righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. This means that we are bound by an unbreakable relationship with Christ. This is an astounding event. Jesus Christ is not ashamed to call us His brethren. Spiritually and physically speaking, Jesus and us, man, have a tremendous and an enormous difference between us. We as man are the creation and God is the Creator. There is a tremendous difference between us and God, which means that we cannot be the same as God. But it says that Jesus sees us as His brethren. Though the event of the cross and through the death of Christ, we became the brethren of Christ. To become a brethren of Christ, this means that we are on the same level as Christ. We are supposed to be completely from a different level from God, our Creator but we are called as Christ’s brethren. This was possible because God allowed this to happen.
3. The Status of the Brethren
1) The fulfillment of the covenant
Verse 12 - We said that Jesus Christ calls us His brethren. This did not happened after the death of Christ but it was already spoken through the promised covenant in the Old Testament in Psalms 22:22 (“I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.”) - Jesus Christ was saying that He will proclaim the name of God to His brethren. Jesus Christ saw us as His brethren but what was the Word that Jesus proclaimed to us, His brethren? It is being able to call God our Father. The reason why we are able to call God our Father was because we are brethren with Christ. This was what Jesus Christ was proclaiming.
Matthew 6:9 (“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”) - Not only did Jesus call God, Father but we are able to call God also our Father. This means that we are brethren with Christ. This is because Jesus Christ is our brethren. This is what Jesus Christ said. He said that He is our brother. Wherever we go, there is no need for us to fear because Jesus Christ who is our brother is with us. This was already promised to us. We must hold onto that God’s Word that will absolutely be fulfilled. Those who hold onto God’s covenant, God’s Word will absolutely be fulfilled. When you hold onto God’s Word and pray, then it will absolutely be fulfilled. We need to look at our background once again more carefully.
2) Our background
Even though we have received tremendous answers and authority as children of God, there are still problems. We are suffering endlessly due to spiritual, physical, financial, and other problems but we need to hold onto this very carefully. This message was given to us through the 2nd headquarters message. There is a problem that we receive but will it remain as a problem or an answer? If you continue to hold onto it as a problem, then it will remain as a problem for you. But if you have a problem and use all of your might to solve that problem, that problem may be solved but eventually another problem will come. If we don’t solve our problems correctly, then you will face problems over and over again throughout your life. You will suffer from endless amounts of problems throughout your life and die being afflicted with problems. So, what must we do? If you hold onto problems as God’s opportunity then God will bless you through problems.
Then, what is the method? How can you hold onto it as an opportunity from God? You must hold onto God’s covenant. If you hold onto the Word of God from the pulpit then you will receive tremendous blessings. Enjoy this blessing. There is something important here. Many people hold onto God’s covenant for the sake of solving their problems but we must hold onto this one particular Word of God as we face problems.
Hold onto Matthew 5:23-24 (“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”) - If you look at this message, we can see that worship is so important. But there is something more important than offering. If you are not able to solve your problems, then it doesn’t matter how much offering you give. Is there someone you resent? Or do you have a broken relationship? Resolve that first and come to worship. If you don’t do that, then God said that He will not accept your offering. We need to discover the spiritual fact. You may have resentment, complaints, and other grudges but who makes you have these kinds of emotions and feelings? It is Satan who is working behind them. Satan is trying to make you fail in worship and hinder you from receiving spiritual blessings. If you have any grudges, resentments, or other negative feelings then you need to resolve them before God and come to worship with a new heart. Then you will receive blessings from worship.
James 4:7 (“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”) - Submit yourself to the Word of God. Then, resist the devil and the devil will flee from you. If you hold onto God’s Word and do not become deceived, then God will bless you more. If that is so, if there are problems that you cannot handle and solve, then take that problem and hold onto the Word of God and fight the spiritual battle. You need to fight the spiritual battle until that problem is solved. Until you are completely changed. When you do this, then God will bless you tremendously. It may seem like we are at a loss but when we come before God with His Word then God will bless you tremendously. Resolve all of your resentments before God.

We talked about the ministry of Jesus Christ as the True Prophet.
John 14:6 (“Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' ”) - Hold onto the Word of God. “The Way”, what does this mean? The way is not only referring to the way to meet God once again but the way to restore financial blessings and your physical health, and the restorations to all things. “The Truth” is referring to knowing the truth regarding life. “The Life” is referring to the fact that Jesus Christ is life. Who determines life and death is Christ alone. Hold onto this Word. Hold onto John 14:6 and be victorious. Hold onto this covenant this week. We are children of God. Jesus Chris is our brother and our True Prophet. Hold onto this covenant and be victorious.

서론
지난 주 간에 산업선교회에서 아주 기쁜 소식을 들었다. 부산에서 교회 성전 건축을 위해서 많이 기도하고 있는 것으로 알고있는데 어떤 분이 건축헌금으로 300억을 헌금했다는 소식을 들었다. 저는 그 얘기를 듣고 정말 하나님께서 역사하시는구나 하는 것을 느꼈다. 그렇게 많은 중직자들과 교회와 목사님들이 힘써 기도하고 있는데 그 기도에 하나님이 이렇게 응답하시구나 하는 생각이 들었다. 이렇게 건축이 시작될 수 있도록 헌금이 들어온 것은 그 교회가 큰 축복을 받게 된 것이다. 그런데 실질적으로 보게되면 건축헌금을 한 헌금자가 더 큰 축복을 받은 줄 아시기 바란다.
행 20:35 –주 예수께서 친히 말씀하신 바 주는 것이 받는 것보다 복이 있다 하심을 기억하여야 할지니라
사실은 받는 사람도 복이지만 주는 사람들이 더 큰 복을 받는다는 의미이다. 왜냐하면 제가 옛날에 기도해서 응답받는 것을 생각하면서 그런 생각을 했다. 한 20년 정도 된 것으로 알고있다. 우리 성인이 학교 등록금이 없어서 등록금을 놓고 간절히 기도한 적이 있었다. 하나님 3만불이 필요합니다 하고 기도한 적이 있었다. 그렇게 기도한지 얼마 안 되어서 한국에 있었던 백화점 사장 친구에게 전화가 왔다. 내가 돈이 좀 생겼는데 헌금을 좀 하고싶다는 얘기를 했다. 그러면서 하는 얘기가 3만불을 보내주려고 한다 번호를 가르쳐달라 했다. 그 얘기를 듣고 제가 깜짝 놀랐다. 하나님께서 기도한 그대로 응답하시구나 하는 것을 체험하게 되었다. 그래서 그 덕분에 성인이 등록금을 잘 낼 수 있었다. 그런데 그 친구가 나중에 받은 축복을 보게되면 엄청난 축복을 받았다. 그 친구가 회사에서 퇴직을 하게되었다. 그런데 퇴직금으로 회사에서 40억을 받았다는 얘기를 들었다. 20년 전이니까 상당히 가치가 높다. 지금 가치로 친다면 80억이나 100억정도 되는 가치가 있지 않을까 한다. 그 뿐 아니라 2년 동안 사장으로서 받았던 봉급을 계속적으로 더 받는 것으로 결정되었다고 한다. 그 뿐만 아니라 그 회사에서 최고 고급 승용차를 개인에게 주었고 운전기사까지도 2년동안 봉사할 수 있도록 허락해주었다고 한다. 그것으로 끝나지 않는다. 이 친구가 그 받은 퇴직금으로 강남에 있는 좋은 전철 옆에있는 사거리에 5층짜리 빌딩을 구입했다. 그런데 그 건물에서 한 달에 약 2천만원 정도 수입을 올릴 수 있었다. 그 건물 가격이 지금은 얼마나 되는지 모르겠다. 최소한도 100억 이상은 되지 않을까한다. 하나님께서 그를 축복하시는데 어마어마하게 축복을 주신 것을 볼 수 있다. 그것으로 끝나지 않는다. 세상적인 복 뿐 아니라 그 친구의 가정이 원래 불교집안이다. 이것을 계기고 그 친구가 자기 친구의 어머니 아버지 형제들 와이프의 부모님들 형제들이 다 구원받는 축복을 받았다. 자기는 하나님 사랑하는 마음으로 헌금을 했지만 뒤에 하나님이 역사하시는 것을 보면 어마어마하다. 저는 그것을 보면서 하나님께서 이 친구의 평생을 완전히 책임져주신 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 저는 이번에 300억 헌금한 사람의 가정과 미래가 어떻게 될지 궁금하다. 분명한 것은 경제의 축복이라는 것은 노력해서 하는 것도 중요하지만 하나님께서 주셔야만이 진짜 축복을 받을 수 있다. 경제의 원리는 아주 간단하다. 성경에서 나타난 것을 보면 불신앙하고 원망 불평하고 하나님께 제대로 헌신하지 못하고 우상숭배 하는 자들은 하나님께서 계속적으로 고통과 재앙을 주셔서 멸망하고 포로로 잡혀가는 것을 볼 수 있다. 그러나 하나님을 기쁘시게하고 영광돌리고 교회 헌신하고 이웃을 사랑하고 돌봐주고 애쓰는 사람들을 보면 모든 면에 있어서 하나님이 돌봐주시고 축복을 주신다. 왜냐하면 모든 것은 하나님께서 주장하시고 지켜주고 계시기 때문이다. 우리가 이것을 잘 받아야겠다.
1. 많은 아들들의 영광
1) 하나님의 아들들
오늘 말씀은 참 중요한 말씀이다. 히브리서 2장 가운데서 마지막 보면 선지자, 제사장, 왕의 직분에 대해서 계속적으로 기록하고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 그 중에서 오늘 10-12절 말씀은 그리스도의 선지자 사역에 대해서만 정확하게 말씀을 주셨다. 선지자 직분에서 우리에게 주신 축복이 무엇인가. 첫번째 보게되면 하나님의 아들된 축복을 그리스도의 십자가를 통해서 우리에게 허락해주셨다.
히 2:10 그러므로 만물이 그를 위하고 또한 그로 말미암은 이가—
이것은 모든 세상 만물은 하나님의 영광을 위해서 창조되었을 뿐 아니라 이 세상 사건과 역사는 하나님의 주권과 섭리에서 결정된다는 것이다. 여기서 가장 중요한 것은 예수님의 십자가 사건이라는 것은 우연히 이루어진 사건이 아니라는 것이다. 이 십자가 사건은 절대적인 하나님의 주권적인 섭리에서 이루어진 것이다. 왜그런가?
히 2:10 –많은 아들들을 이끌어 영광에 들어가게 하시는 일에—
십자가를 통해서 많은 사람들을 하나님의 아들들이 되게하기 위함이라는 것이다.
딤전 2:4 하나님은 모든 사람이 구원을 받으며 진리를 아는 데에 이르기를 원하시느니라
하나님의 소원은 많은 불신자들이 변화를 받아 하나님의 아들이 되는 축복 속으로 들어가게 하는 것이다. 하나님이 영광을 받으시는 것이 불신자가 하나님의 아들이 되는 것이다. 그렇기 때문에 이 일을 하는 전도자를 아주 기뻐하시면서 축복하시고 함께하시는 증거가 나타나게된다.
2) 구원의 창시자
히 2:10 –그들의 구원의 창시자를 고난을 통하여 온전하게 하심이 합당하도다
이 구원의 창시자라는 것은 그리스도를 나타낸다. 그래서 그분의 고난을 통해서 온전케 하심이 합당하다는 것이다. 예수님께서 하신 그리스도의 사역은 합당했다는 선포이다. 다시 말씀드리면 인간 구원을 위한 하나님이 완전한 조건을 충족했다는 것이다. 그리스도가 되기 위한 필요 조건이 있다. 그것이 합당하게 모든 것이 맞아떨어졌다는 것이다. 그리스도가 되기 위해서는 어떤 분이어야 하는가. 첫번째로 그리스도는 죄가 없으셔야한다. 원죄, 자범죄, 조상죄 어떤 죄도 있으면 안되는 분이다. 두번째로 그리스도는 완전한 사람이어야한다. 완전한 죽음을 가질 수 있기 때문이다. 또 세번째로는 그리스도는 완전한 하나님이이어야 한다. 그래야만 부활할 수 있기 때문이다. 하나님만이 하나님의 형상을 회복시켜주실 수 있다. 또 한가지 중요한 조건이 있다. 그리스도는 반드시 성경에 예언된 그 분이어야 하는 것이다. 창 3:15 부터 예언된 그 분이 오셔야하는 것이다. 이 모든 조건이 완전히 구비되어야만 완전한 그리스도가 되실 수 있는 것이다. 왜 그런가. 우리를 죄악 가운데서 흑암 가운데서 건져내시기 위한 완전한 구원을 이루시기 위해서는 이렇게 해야하는 것이다. 그렇기 때문에 우리가 구원받은 것은 어쩌다가 받는 것이 아니라 완전한 조건이 성취된 구원인 것이다. 이 모든 조건을 완벽히 준비하신 그리스도께서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가심으로서 우리가 하나님 아들의 신분을 얻게된다. 그래서 우리는 그리스도를 참 선지자라고 말한다.
2. 그리스도
1) 거룩하게 하시는 이
히 2:11 거룩하게 하시는 이와 거룩하게 함을 입은 자들이 다 한 근원에서 난지라—
거룩하게 하시는 분이라는 것은 그리스도를 나타낸다. 우리를 거룩하게 하고 새롭게 하시는 분은 그리스도이다. 그 분에 의해서 거룩함을 입은 자들이 나타난다. 바로 우리 성도들은 나타낸다. 예수님께서 그리스도되신 사실을 믿는 순간에 우리는 변화를 받아서 거룩함을 힘입게 된다는 것이다. 놀라운 사건을 나타내고 있다.
고전 6:11 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 있더니 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 받았느니라
이 불신자 가운데 있었던 사람들이 예수 그리스도를 믿음을 통해서 완전히 새롭게 변화되는 것을 나타낸다. 그 변화된 모습이 나타난다. 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 동시에 받는 것이다. 그래서 우리가 예수 그리스도를 믿는 순간에 죄를 씻음 당할 뿐 아니라 거룩함을 입는 이런 영적인 어마어마한 변화가 나타난다. 그래서 하나님의 아들이 된다.
골 1:22 이제는 그의 육체의 죽음으로 말미암아 화목하게 하사 너희를 거룩하고 흠 없고 책망할 것이 없는 자로 그 앞에 세우고자 하셨으니
예수 그리스도께서 죽으심을 통해서 이제는 내 죄가 깨끗함을 받게되는 것이다. 그래서 거룩하고 흠이 없고 책망할 것이 하나도 없는 자로 변화를 받는다. 이것이 우리가 믿는 순간에 변화되는 모습이다. 우리는 비록 부족하지만 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 십자가의 피를 통해서 거룩한 자로 순식간에 바꿔버리는 것이다. 아주 더러웠던 피가 주님의 피로 깨끗하게 씻어지는 변화가 일어나는 것이다.
계 20:6 이 첫째 부활에 참여하는 자들은 복이 있고 거룩하도다 둘째 사망이 그들을 다스리는 권세가 없고 도리어 그들이 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장이 되어 천 년 동안 그리스도와 더불어 왕 노릇 하리라
첫째 부활이라는 것은 많은 사람들의 이견이 있습니다만 우리 보수 쪽에서 해석하는 것은 예수님을 영접하여 새로운 피조물이 되는 것을 나타낸다. 예수님을 영접하는 순간에 하나님 앞에 거룩한 하나님의 아들이 되는 것이다. 둘째 사망이 다스리는 권세가 없다고 하고있다. 예수님께서 재림하심을 통해서 심판이 내리게 되는데 거기에 전혀 상관이 없다는 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 그들이 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장이 되어 천 년 동안 그리스도와 더불어 왕 노릇 한다고 얘기하고 있다. 여기서 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장이 된다는 것은 이 땅에서 전도자가 되어서 천 년 동안 그리스도와 함께 왕권을 가지고 살아간다는 것이다. 이 땅에서 우리 전도자에게 주시는 축복은 어마어마한 왕권이다. 실질적으로 우리는 거룩함을 입고 하나님의 아들이 되었기 때문에 가는 전도 현장마다 복음을 증거할 때 흑암이 무너지고 사단이 결박되는 놀라운 역사가 나타난다. 왜 그런가. 함께 계신 주님이 왕이시기 때문에 왕권을 가지고 우리도 현장에 나가는 것이다. 이 엄청난 축복이 저와 여러분들에게 있는 줄로 믿는다. 우리는 흑암과 저주 사단의 세력을 무서워할 것이 하나도 없다. 우리는 그리스도와 하나님의 제사장으로서 전도자로서 사명을 감당하고 있다.
2) 다 한 근원
그런데 여기서 보면 다 한 근원에서 났다고 말하고 있다. 이것은 거룩하게 하는 자 또 거룩함을 받는 자, 그리스도와 성도는 다 한 근원에서 났다는 것이다. 이런 관계가 어떻게해서 이루어졌는가. 천지를 창조하시고 온 우주를 주관하시는 하나님께서 친히 이렇게 하셨다는 것이다. 어마어마한 축복이다.
고전1:30 너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니
이것은 예수님과 우리가 떨어질 수 없는 관계를 말하고 있다. 우리는 하나님께로부터 났다고 말하고 있다. 다시 말하면 하나님으로부터 창조되었다는 것이다. 하나님으로부터 창조된 존재지만 그리스도 안에 있다는 것이다. 예수 그리스도를 영접하면서 그리스도 안에 들어간 존재가 된 것이다. 예수님은 어떠신가. 예수님은 하나님께서 나신 것을 나타낸다. 그래서 우리를 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함고 구원함을 이루게하신다. 그러니까 우리와 예수님과의 관계는 떨어질래야 떨어질 수 없는 관계인 것이다.
히 2:11 –그러므로 형제라 부르시기를 부끄러워하지 아니하시고
우리 주님과 우리는 근본적으로 차이가 있다. 우리는 피조물이고 주님은 창조주이다. 근본적인 차이가 있고 같을 수가 없다. 그런데 우리를 형제라고 본다는 것이다. 예수님의 십자가 사역을 통해서 형제관계가 되었다는 것이다. 형제라는 것은 같은 수준을 나타내는 것이다. 창조주와 피조물은 마땅히 달라져야하는데 동등한 존재로 변화가 되었다는 것이다. 바로 이것이 누구로부터 비롯되었느냐 하나님으로부터 비롯되었다.
3. 형제들에게 선포
1) 언약의 성취
우리가 형제의 신분을 누릴 수 있는 자리에 들어갔다.
히 2:12 이르시되 내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 선포하고 내가 주를 교회 중에서 찬송하리라 하셨으며
지금 말씀드린데로 예수님께서 우리를 형제라고 선포했다. 그런데 예수님께서 우리를 형제라고 선포하신 것은 십자가 이후에 일어난게 아니라 시 22:22에 나온것과 마찬가지로 이미 언약의 말씀에 나온 말씀이었다는 것이다.
시 22:22 내가 주의 이름을 형제에게 선포하고 회중 가운데에서 주를 찬송하리이다
그리스도께서 하나님 이름을 형제들에게 선포할 것이라는 말이다. 우리를 형제로 생각하고 선포하는게 무엇인가. 바로 너희 아버지다 하는 말씀이다. 우리가 하나님을 아버지라고 부를 수 있게 된 것은 예수님과 우리가 형제이기 때문이다. 예수님께서 이것을 선포하셨다.
마 6:9 그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며
예수님만 하나님을 아버지라 부르는 것이 아니라 이제는 너희도 아버지라 부르라는 것이다. 너희는 한 아버지의 형제가 되었다는 것이다. 여러분 예수님이 우리의 형제시다. 예수님은 맏아들이시라고 했다. 그렇기 때문에 예수님은 우리의 형님되신다. 어딜 가던지 든든한 형님이 함께 계시면 우리는 겁날게 없다. 이것은 우연이 아니라 약속된 말씀이 성취된 현장이다. 여기서 우리가 분명히 잡아야할 것은 언약은 반드시 성취된다는 것이다. 지금까지 성취 되었고 앞으로도 언약을 잡는 자는 성취 될 것이라는 것이다. 오늘 주신 말씀을 내 언약으로 잡고 기도하게 되면 반드시 그 말씀은 성취된다. 여기서 우리가 배경을 보아야겠다.
2) 우리의 배경
우리는 이 세상을 살아가면서 실질적으로 어마어마한 권세와 신분을 얻었음에도 문제를 너무나 많이 겪고있다. 영적일 뿐 아니라 육신적으로 경제적으로 많은 어려움을 당한다. 이것을 우리가 잘 잡아야겠다. 2부 메세지에서도 나왔었다. 문제를 만나게되면 그냥 문제가 될 수도 있고 이 문제가 기회가 될 수도 있다고 했다. 어떻게 결정되는가. 그것을 내가 문제로만 잡고있다 하게되면 계속 문제로 남아있는 것이다. 문제가 생길 때 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 모든 힘과 노력, 인간의 지혜를 다해서 문제를 해결했다면 그것으로 끝나는 것이 아니라 또 다시 다른 문제가 온다. 우리가 문제를 제대로 해결하지 못하게되면 죽을 때 까지 문제는 계속 되어진다. 항상 문제와 고통 속에서 헤매다가 숨을 거두게 될 것이다. 그런데 여기서 이 문제를 하나님께서 주신 기회라고 붙잡는 것이다. 그러면 하나님께서 그 문제를 통해서 가장 중요한 축복의 기회가 되게 하신다. 이 방법이 무엇인가. 어떻게 하면 하나님께서 주신 기회로 붙잡고 해결해나가는가. 하나님께서 주시는 언약을 붙잡아야한다. 강단에 주신 말씀을 언약으로 잡고 기도해나갈 때는 큰 축복으로 바뀌는 역사가 체험될 것이다. 이 축복 누리시기 바란다. 여기서 중요한 것이 하나 있다. 많은 사람들이 우리가 문제가 생기면 언약만 잡고 문제를 해결하기 위해서 그것만 갖고 앞으로 나가는 경우가 있다. 이것에 대해서 산상수훈에서 주님께서 주신 말씀을 꼭 붙잡고 응답을 찾아나가야겠다.
마 5:23-24 그러므로 예물을 제단에 드리려다가 거기서 네 형제에게 원망들을 만한 일이 있는 것이 생각나거든 예물을 제단 앞에 두고 먼저 가서 형제와 화목하고 그 후에 와서 예물을 드리라
이 말씀을 보게되면 우리가 신앙 생활을 하는데서 예배가 대단히 중요하지 않은가. 그 예물 보다도 더 중요한 것이 있다는 것이다. 이 문제가 해결되지 못하면 예배도 응답받지 못할 것이라는 말이다. 네 형제에게 원망 들을만한 사건이 있냐는 것이다. 서로 원망하고 불평하는 사이가 있냐는 것이다. 그것을 해결하고 와서 예배를 드리라는 것이다. 그렇지 않으면 예물을 받지 않겠다는 것이다. 여기서 중요한 것은 영적인 사실을 발견해야한다. 원망과 시기와 질투하게 하는 원인 제공자가 누구인가. 사단이다. 사단이 꼭 예배에 실패하도록 영적 축복을 방해하는 역사를 계속 하고있다. 내가 손해보고 억울한 것 같아도 내 모든 것을 포기하고 받아들이고 가서 화목하게 사과하라는 것이다.
약 4:7 그런즉 너희는 하나님께 순복할찌어다 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라
하나님 말씀에 복종하면서 사단에게 속지 아니하면 하나님께서 더 큰 축복으로 채워주실 줄로 믿는다. 도저히 참을 수 없어, 내 의지로 그 갈등을 해결할 수 없다면 그 문제까지도 언약으로 잡고 영적싸움을 하라는 것이다. 그 문제가 해결될 때 까지 계속해서 영적으로 싸우시기 바란다. 완전히 내 자신이 변화될 때 까지 싸우시기 바란다. 그렇게 될 때 하나님께서 엄청난 축복으로 채워주실 줄로 믿는다. 우리가 손해보는 것 같고 억울한 것 같지만 포기하고 말씀에 순종할 때는 하나님께서 기쁘게 받으시면 큰 영광을 받으시는 것을 반드시 기억해야한다. 그런 사람이 있으면 화목하시기 바란다.
결론
오늘 그리스도의 선지자 사역에 대해 이야기했다. 아들의 신분을 허락해주시고 거룩한 자의 신분을 허락해주시고 형제의 신분을 허락해주신 것이었다.
요 14:6 예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라
이 말씀을 꼭 잡으시기 바란다. 내가 곧 길이라는 것은 무엇인가. 하나님 만나는 길 뿐 아니라 모든 경제 축복의 길, 내 몸을 치유하는 치유의 길, 모든 길이 예수님이라는 것이다. 진리라고 했다. 참 인생의 의미, 영적인 삶, 참된 가치를 깨닫는 것이 이 진리이다. 생명이라고 했다. 예수님은 생명되신다. 죽이느냐 살리느냐의 결정은 주님이 하신다. 숨을 거두는 순간도 주님께서 결정하신다. 이 말씀을 꼭 잡으시기 바란다. 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라. 이 말씀 붙들고 승리하시기 바란다. 언약 잡으시기 바란다. 우리는 하나님의 아들이다. 또 예수님은 우리의 형님 되신다. 그리고 참 선지자 되신다. 언약잡고 승리하는 여러분 되시기를 그리스도 이름으로 축원한다.
