그리스도의 왕직 사역(히2:13-16)
서론
제가 오늘 말씀을 준비하면서 한가지 유명한 이야기가 생각났다. 어떤 남자가 캄캄한 어둠 속 산길을 걸어가고 있었다. 그 길은 양쪽이 아주 가파른 낭떠러지로 된 길이었다. 깜깜한데 보이지 않는 그 길을 조심조심 걸어가고 있었다. 그러다가 앞에 있는 돌에 걸려서 그냥 넘어졌다. 한 쪽으로 굴러떨어졌다. 다행이도 나무 뿌리를 손에 붙잡았다. 두 손으로 꼭 붙잡고 죽지 않기 위해서 필사적으로 소리쳤다. “사람 살려!” 아무리 소리를 쳐도 한 밤중에 그곳에 있는 사람은 없었다. 아무리 소리를 질러도 반응이 없었다. 이제는 힘이 다 빠지게 생겼다. 팔에 점점 힘이 빠졌다. 이제는 도저히 버틸 수 없다 생각하고 자기도 모르게 손을 놓았다. 이제 죽었구나 하면서 툭 떨어졌다. 그런데 떨어진 곳이 땅바닥에서 1m 밖에 되지 않았던 것이다. 아무 상처도 없이 일어날 수 있었다. 그는 그 1m밖에 안되는 것을 모르고 죽을 줄 알고 나무 뿌리를 붙잡고 발버둥 쳤던 것이다. 사람들은 이렇게 인생을 살아가고 있다. 사람들은 살아가면서 죽지 않으려고 발버둥을 치면서 살아가고 있다. 죽으면 모든게 끝장이야 하면서 죽지 않으려고 갖은 애를 쓰면서 살아가고 있다. 이런 인생을 바라보면서 주님께서는 말씀하셨다. 네 인생을 나한테 맡겨라. 우리가 인생을 주님께 맡기게 되면 주님께서 책임지시겠다고 말씀하셨다. 갈 2:20이 바로 그 말씀이다.
갈 2:20 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라
우리가 주님 앞에 죽고 나를 완전히 맡겨버리게되면 주님께서 나를 위해서 사시겠다고 약속하고 계신다. 이 땅에서 승리하는 삶을 사는 방법이 바로 주님께 나를 맡기는 것이다. 정말 승리하시는 여러분 되시기 바란다. 오늘 말씀은 대단히 중요하다.
1. 그리스도 사역
1) 하나님의 사역
지난 시간에는 그리스도의 선지자 사역에 대해서 말씀을 받았다. 오늘은 그리스도의 왕직 사역에 대해서 우리에게 말씀을 주고 계신다.
히 2:13 또 다시 내가 그를 의지하리라 하시고—
지난 선지자 사역을 보게되면 하나님께서 그리스도를 통해서 하나님의 아들들이 되게 하셨고 거룩한 자의 삶을 살게 하셨고 예수님의 형제가 되는 어마어마한 신분을 주셨다. 이 모든 것이 하나님께서 그리스도를 통해서 이루신 것이다. 오늘 저자는 또 다시 내가 하나님을 따르겠다 하고 이야기하고 있다.
히 2:13 –또 다시 볼지어다 나와 및 하나님께서 내게 주신 자녀라 하셨으니
이 말씀은 사 8:17-18 말씀을 인용해서 하신 말씀이다. 이것은 하나님의 자녀를 위해서 더 놀라운 표징을 보여줄 것을 나타낸다. 모든 것을 이루신 하나님께서 그리스도를 통해서 다시 한 번 놀라운 표징을 이루시겠다고 말씀하시고 있다. 그게 바로 14절 말씀이다.
2) 그리스도의 성육신
히 2:14 자녀들은 혈과 육에 속하였으매 그도 또한 같은 모양으로 혈과 육을 함께 지니심은 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 멸하시며
이 땅의 자녀들이 혈과 육을 가졌기 때문에 그리스도도 혈과 육을 가진 몸으로 이 땅에 오셨다. 또 죽음을 통하여라고 말씀하고 계시다. 인간의 몸이 되야만이 죽음이 가능하기 때문에 인간의 몸을 입고오신 것이다. 또 오신 예수님의 죽으심을 통해야만이 죽음의 세력을 꺾을 수 있기 때문이다. 우리가 성경을 보게되면 마귀는 예수님을 죽이기만 하게되면 모든 것이 끝날 줄 알았다. 예수님만 죽이면 이 땅을 영원히 자기가 왕으로서 다스리게 될 것이라고 생각했다. 그래서 자기 추종자들, 인간들을 이용해서 십자가에 못박혀 죽이게 된다. 예수님께서는 십자가에서 완전히 죽으심을 다하셨다. 그런데 놀랍게도 3일만에 부활하셨다. 이 예수님의 부활에 마귀가 얼마나 충격을 받았겠는가. 그런데 마귀가 몰랐던 것이 있다. 예수님의 죽으심이 자기 자신 사단의 멸망이 될 것이라는 것을 전혀 몰랐다. 이 비밀은 이미 구약에 있는 아사셀의 비밀을 통해서 성경에서 말씀하셨다.
3) 아사셀 염소의 비밀
아사셀은 유대인의 명절, 대속죄일에 나타나는 사건을 말한다. 대속죄일은 유대인의 달력으로 7월 10일인데 히브리말로 욤 키푸르라고 이야기한다. 여기보면 예수님의 죽으심이 마귀의 죽음이 어떻게 이루어졌는가를 자세히 설명하고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 레 16:8에 보면 대속죄일에 대제사장이 염소 두마리를 잡아와서 한마리는 여호와를 위해서 제사를 드리고 또 한마리는 아사셀을 위해서 한다고 나와있다.
레 16:8 두 염소를 위하여 제비 뽑되 한 제비는 여호와를 위하고 한 제비는 아사셀을 위하여 할지며
그런데 10절 말씀을 보게되면
레 16:10 아사셀을 위하여 제비 뽑은 염소는 산 채로 여호와 앞에 두었다가 그것으로 속죄하고 아사셀을 위하여 광야로 보낼지니라
하는 말씀이 나타난다. 염소 한마리는 제사를 드려서 피를 흘려서 그 피를 갖고 대제사장이 지성소까지 들어가게 되는데 또 한마리인 아사셀 염소는 산 채로 모든 것을 속죄하고 광야로 끌고간다. 그런데 여기 말씀을 보게되면 아사셀을 위하여 하는 말이 세 번이나 나온다. 아사셀의 먹잇감으로 보낸다는 것을 세 번이나 강조하면서 말씀하고있다. 그러면 아사셀이 무엇인가. 여러가지 의미가 있습니다만 마귀를 상징한다고 보고있다. 한 마리는 하나님을 위해 제사를 드리고 한 마리는 마귀에게 보낸다는 의미를 갖고있다. 그래서 초대교회 때 오리겐이라는 신학자는 얘기하기를 이것은 마귀에게 예수님의 피를 바치는 것이라고 이야기한 적이 있었다. 이것을 사단 배상설이라고 이야기한다. 예수님의 피는 결국 아사셀 양을 위해서 한 것이 아니겠느냐 하고 설명한다. 그런데 이것은 해석을 잘못한 것이다. 그런데 많은 사람들이 류목사님을 보면서 사단 배상설을 주장한다고 이야기했다. 류목사님께서는 뭐라고 하시냐면 예수님께서 인간에게 진 빚을 갚았다고 이야기하셨다. 많은 사람들이 공격하기를 당신이 이야기하는 것이 바로 사단 배상설이라고 공격을 했다. 그런데 류목사님은 나는 사단 배상설을 이야기한 적이 없다고 하셨다. 그러니까 이 사람들은 그렇게 얘기 해놓고 왜 아니라고 하느냐 하고 이야기했다. 그런데 류목사님은 그렇게 이야기한 적이 없다. 그것은 레 16:21-22 말씀을 해석을 잘못했기 때문에 이 사람들이 그걸 갖고 공격하는 것이다. 이 말씀은 중요하기 때문에 읽어가면서 말씀을 드리겠다.
레 16:21-22 아론은 그의 두 손으로 살아 있는 염소의 머리에 안수하여 이스라엘 자손의 모든 불의와 그 범한 모든 죄를 아뢰고 그 죄를 염소의 머리에 두어 미리 정한 사람에게 맡겨 광야로 보낼지니 22 염소가 그들의 모든 불의를 지고 접근하기 어려운 땅에 이르거든 그는 그 염소를 광야에 놓을지니라
마귀라고 하는 광야로 보내는 아사셀양은 어떻게 가는가 하는 내용이 나타난다. 그냥 보내는 것이 아니라 대제사장이 두 손으로 살아있는 아사셀 양의 머리에 안수를 해서 인간의 모든 불의와 죄를 전가시킨다. 모든 죄와 불의를 진 아사셀양은 모든 죄를 짊어지고 광야로 나가게 된다. 아무도 손에 닿지 않는 땅에 놓아져버리는 것이다. 그러면 그 양이 인간의 모든 죄와 저주를 짊어진 아사셀 양인줄 모르고 사나운 짐승이 와서 잡아먹어버린다. 다시 말씀드리면 인간의 모든 죄와 저주를 짊어진 양을 먹은 짐승이 모든 저주를 받게되는 것이다. 이것은 영적으로 어떤 의미를 갖고있는가. 사단의 꼬임수에 속아서 모든 저주와 재앙이 인간에게 들어왔었다. 죄와 저주가진 모든 인간의 저주를 대제사장을 통해서 안수를 함으로서 아사셀 양에게 전가가 된 것이다. 그 인간의 모든 죄를 짊어진 아사셀 양이 누구에게 잡히느냐. 바로 사단이 잡아먹는 것이다. 다시 말씀드리면 인간의 모든 죄와 저주가 사단이 예수 그리스도를 죽임으로 말미암에 사단에게 전가된 것이다. 예수님에게는 인간이 가진 모든 죄와 저주를 짊어지시고 우리 대신 돌아가신 것이다. 사단의 계략으로 인해서 예수님께서 돌아가시게 된 것이다. 그런데 그 죽으심이 바로 마귀가 인간의 모든 저주와 재앙을 받게되는 상태가 된 것이다. 류목사님이 그것을 말씀하신 것이다. 인간에게 진 모든 빚은 사단에게 전가시킨 것이다. 그래서 예수님의 죽으심은 모든 죄를 짊어지신 예수님께서 완전히 죽으심으로서 끝나버렸지만 대신에 사단은 인간의 모든 죄와 저주를 짊어진 것이다. 이 모든 것이 이루어졌다는 증거로서 롬 8:11 말씀에 하나님께서 예수님을 살리신다.
롬 8:11 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면 그리스도 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이가 너희 안에 거하시는 그의 영으로 말미암아 너희 죽을 몸도 살리시리라
이 말씀은 대단히 중요한 말씀이다. 예수님은 하나님이시다. 죽을 수 없으신 분이다. 죽었다가도 혼자 부활할 수 있는 능력있는 분이다. 그런데 예수님께서는 죽으셔서 스스로 일어나지 않으셨다. 하나님께서 그 영으로 말미암아 살리셨다. 왜 예수님께서 일어나지 않으셨느냐. 예수님은 스스로가 아니라 인간이 가졌던 죄와 저주를 짊어지시고 돌아가신 것이다. 예수님의 죽으심은 자신의 죽음 뿐 아니라 모든 죄인들의 죽음이었다. 그러기 때문에 일어나지 않으셨던 것이다. 그 죽은 예수님을 하나님께서 살리시는 것이다. 무엇을 의미하는가. 내가 인간의 모든 죄를 용서해주노라 이다. 무엇을 의미하느냐. 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 모든 우리도 같이 부활된 것을 나타낸다. 사단은 아사셀 양의 죄의 전가를 통해서 완전히 멸망 당하게 되었지만 우리는 그리스도의 보혈의 피를 통해서 살아나게 된 것이다. 그러므로 그리스도의 왕직은 대단히 중요한 의미를 갖고있다.
2. 왕직 사역
1) 최고의 복음
우리가 복음을 보겠다.
히 2:14 –그도 또한 같은 모양으로 혈과 육을 함께 지니심은 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 멸하시며
창조주 되신 하나님의 아들께서 이 땅에 인간의 몸으로 오셨다. 이것을 성육신이라고 한다. 이 자체가 최고의 복음이라는 것이다. 많은 종교는 하나님을 찾으러 나가지만 우리 죄를 위하여 직접 인간의 몸을 입고 이 땅에 오셨다는 것이다. 이 복음은 그리스도밖에 없다. 더 중요한것은 죽음을 통해서 이루셨다고 이야기하고 있다. 왜 죽는가. 우리를 살리시기 위해서 대신 고난을 당하시고 십자가에 돌아가신 것이다. 죄도 전혀 없으신 분이 우리를 살리시기 위해 돌아가신 것이다. 바로 이것이 복음의 최고 절정이다. 뿐만 아니라 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 멸하신다고 했다. 바로 저주와 재앙을 주는 아사셀을 멸망시키기 위해서 온 것이다. 아사셀된 마귀는 예수님을 죽이면 끝날 줄 알았다. 그런데 그 죽음이 자기의 멸망인 것은 전혀 몰랐다. 복음의 최고의 열매가 아사셀의 멸망인 것이다. 복음의 열매에 대해서 다시 보아야겠다.
2) 복음의 열매
히2:15 또 죽기를 무서워하므로 한평생 매여 종 노릇 하는 모든 자들을 놓아 주려 하심이니
인간이면 누구든지 죽기를 싫어한다. 최고 공포의 대상이 죽음이다. 바로 이 복음의 열매가 여기서 해방시켜주는 것이다. 예수님의 왕직을 통한 최고의 치유는 죽음에서의 해방이다. 불치병에서 치유하는 것도 최고의 치유지만 죽음에서 치유하는 것이 최고의 치유이다. 한평생 매여 종노릇 하는 모든 자를 놓아주셨다. 한평생 거짓의 아비로서 우리를 괴롭혔다. 예수님께서는 십자가 상에서 완전히 해결하셨다. 지금도 얼마나 많은 사람들이 평생 시달리면서 고통받으면서 속아 살고있는가. 여기서 분명히 잡아야할 것은 예수님께서 십자가를 통해서 완전히 끝났다 하시는 것이다. 정말 이 축복 누리는 여러분 되시기 바란다.
3. 자녀의 축복
1) 아브라함의 자손의 축복
뿐만 아니라 하나님 자녀에게 주시는 어마어마한 축복이 들어있다.
히 2:16 이는 확실히 천사들을 붙들어 주려 하심이 아니요 오직 아브라함의 자손을 붙들어 주려 하심이라
다시 말씀드리면 그리스도가 이 땅에 오신 이유가 뭐냐는 것이다. 자녀를 구원하기 위해서 오셨다는 것이다. 그리스도가 성육신 하신 것은 천사를 위해서 하신 것이 아니라는 것이다. 참 중요한 말씀이다. 천사들도 타락을 했다. 사단으로 역사하고 있다. 성경을 보게되면 타락한 천사를 구원하기 위해서 그리스도를 보내셨다는 말이 없다. 그래서 16절 말씀에 확실히 천사를 붙들어 주려 하심이 아니라고 하시고 있다. 그러면 누구를 위해서 오셨는가. 아브라함의 자손을 위해서 오셨다고 하고있다. 약속의 자녀들을 위해서 오셨다는 것이다. 놀라운 축복이다. 저와 여러분을 위해서 오신 것이다. 그리스도를 이 땅에 오시게 해서 십자가에 못박혀 돌아가심으로서 완전히 해결하신 것이다. 인간의 모든 문제를 십자가에서 완전히 해결하신 것이다.
2) 언약 잡은 자
요 19:30 예수께서 신 포도주를 받으신 후에 이르시되 다 이루었다 하시고 머리를 숙이니 영혼이 떠나가시니라
다 끝낸줄로 믿으시기 바란다. 완전히 다 끝낸 것이다. 모든 저주 재앙 고통 죽음까지 다 해결하신 것이다. 이 언약을 잡으시기 바란다. 완전히 끝났다. 여기서부터 신앙생활이 시작되지 아니하면 우리에게 오는 사단이 속이는 재앙을 막을 수 없다. 기도수첩에 계속 말씀하고 있다. 이 언약에 확신을 가진 사람과 아직 끝나지 않는 사람들은 삶 자체가 다르다고 말한다. 실절적으로 차이를 발견할 수 있다. 그리스도께서 모든 것을 끝내셨다는 확신을 갖고있는 사람들에게는 그 마음에 평안이 넘쳐난다. 불안의 마음이 없다. 예수님께서 모든 것을 해결하셨는데 뭐가 불안한가. 그러나 이것이 없는 사람들은 불안이 끝나지 않는다. 다 이루었다는 언약에 확신을 갖고있는 사람들은 항상 감사가 나올 수 밖에 없다. 어쩌자고 하나님의 아들이 육신을 입고 이 땅에 오셔서 내 문제를 해결해주셨습니까. 감사가 나올 수 밖에 없다. 이것이 안되는 사람들이 마귀가 하는 것과 똑같이 항상 불평 원망만 하게 되어있다. 분명히 붙잡으시기 바란다. 이것을 붙잡으시면 가정이 변한다. 자녀들이 변하고 경제까지 변화가 된다. 이것을 잡느냐 잡지 않느냐에 따라서 모든 것이 결정될 것이다. 나의 언약으로 잡은 사람들은 완전히 인생이 변할 줄로 믿는다.
고후 5:17 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나 갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다
우리는 그리스도를 영접하는 그 순간에 이미 새 것이 된 줄로 믿는다. 힘든 일이 있는가. 언약 잡으시기 바란다. 그리고 기도수첩에 또 이야기했다. 가장 낮은 곳이 임하라고 했다. 하나님께서 나를 구원해주시고 상속자로 삼아주시고 자녀로 삼아주시고 예수님의 형제를 삼아주셨는데 우리가 교만하게 살 이유가 없는 것이다. 가장 낮은 곳에서 시작하시기 바란다. 정말 겸손하게 사시기 바란다. 정말 주님만 높이는 삶을 사시기 바란다. 그러나 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 최고의 신분을 누리시기 바란다. 그리고 우리가 계속하기 위해서는 행 1:1, 3, 8을 위해서 매일 기도로 누리시기 바란다. 여러분들에게 어마어마한 응답의 역사가 나타날 줄로 믿는다.
결론
살전 5:18 범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라
왜 하나님께서 이 말씀하시는지 이해가 되는가. 감사하시는 것이 하나님의 뜻이다. 모든 것이 이루셨기 때문에, 우리는 누리기만 하기 때문에, 어떤 일이 있어서 감사하시기 바란다. 더 큰 축복의 역사가 있을 줄로 믿는다.

And again: 'Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.' 14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. ”
Introduction
I thought about a famous story that I remembered as I was preparing for the message. There was a man who was walking along a road that was very dark but he tripped over a rock and fell. He started rolling off the road and luckily, he was able to grab onto a tree. As he was holding onto the tree, he was clinging onto it as hard as he could and was yelling out for help. No matter how much he was yelling, there was no response since it was late at night. He was losing all of his strength as he was holding onto the tree and couldn’t hang on anymore so he let go, and he knew that he would die if he let go. But when he landed, it was only one meter from the tree to the ground. This is how people of this world are living. In order not to die, people are doing whatever they can to not to die as they live in this world. They believe that death is the end for them. Jesus looking at people living like this said this, “Entrust your life to Me.” If you entrust your life to God, God promised that He will take complete responsibility over you. Galatians 2:20 (“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”) - This is what the scripture is promising us. If we trust all things to God, God will take complete responsibility over you. What is the method to receiving true success? It is entrusting yourself to God. Be victorious in the name of Jesus Christ. Today’s message is very important. Last week’s message was discussing about Jesus Christ as the True Prophet. Today’s message will be about Jesus Christ as the True King.
1. Christ's Ministry
1) God's ministry
Verse 13 - Through Jesus Christ, He allowed us to live a righteous life as well as become a brother of Jesus Christ. This was all fulfilled when Jesus came as the Christ. Isaiah 8:17-18 (“And I will wait on the Lord, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him. 18 Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.”) - God who fulfilled everything, He promised that He will fulfill all things through Jesus Christ.
2) The Incarnation of the Christ
Verse 14 - Only Jesus Christ had to come down in human flesh to die for mankind and to experience human death. Through the death of Jesus Christ, He was able to overcome the power of death. If you look in the Bible, Satan thought that if he killed Jesus Christ then Jesus would perish and he would become the ruler of this world. That is why he used humans as his tool to kill Jesus Christ on the cross. But when Jesus Christ died on the cross, He did die a complete death but after three days, He resurrected. Satan probably was really shocked to see Jesus Christ resurrecting form His death. What Satan didn’t know was that through the death of Jesus Christ, Jesus would come completely destroy the powers of Satan.
3) The mystery behind the goat for Azazel
This was already prophesied in the Old Testament regarding the Azazel. The Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of the Atonement, it is part of the Jewish tradition regarding the scapegoat, Azazel. Through the death of Jesus Christ, it explains what happens to Satan and how Satan died through the death of Jesus Christ.
Leviticus 16:8, 10 (“Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat. 10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.”) - One goat was given for blood sacrifice while the other goat, Azazel goat is left out abandoned in the wilderness. It said that the goat was left out for Azazel in the wilderness. What is Azazel? There are different meanings but one of the meaning is Satan. One goat is given to sacrifice before God and the other goat is given away to be devoured by Satan. That is why one theologian during the Early Church times, Origen, stated that this was putting the blood of Jesus Christ onto Satan. This is called the theory of Satan’s reparation. The theory was explaining that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the Azazel. But this is a misinterpretation. Also, Rev. Kwang-su Ryu gave a sermon once regarding the Azazel, many individuals started getting confused and were interpreting his words incorrectly. What did Rev. Ryu say? Rev. Ryu said that through the death of Jesus Christ, He paid the ransom for the sins of mankind. But many people started criticizing Rev. Ryu’s words and stating that he was talking about the Satan’s reparation. But Rev. Ryu stated that he never talked about the theory of Satan’s reparation. However, many people again criticized Rev. Ryu and accused him of discussing about Satan’s reparation. Of course, Rev. Ryu did not talk about Satan’s reparation.
People are criticizing and attacking Rev. Ryu because they are misinterpreting the scripture of Leviticus 16:21-22 (“Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man. 22 The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.”) - It is important to note here where the destination of this Azazel goat would be taken into. They didn’t just send the Azazel goat away nowhere but the priest would send all of the sins of mankind onto the goat with both of his hands. This goat would bear all of the sins of mankind and then released into the wilderness. This goat will go it a land where people would be present but eventually where a beast would come to consume this goat. In other words, the beast would consume this sinned goat that has all of the sins of mankind in it and as a result, this beast would become cursed.
What is the spiritual meaning behind this? Mankind became deceived by Satan and fell into sin. The goat received all of the sins of mankind by the priest who was transferring the sins and it was released into the wilderness. The Azazel goat that was released into the wild, the beast that would come to consume this goat, and this goat is referring to Satan. In other words, all of the sins and curses of mankind were transferred into Satan. Jesus Christ bore all of our sins when He died on the cross but the death of Jesus Christ shows that it was Satan who was the one who ended up becoming cursed and bore all of the sins. This was what Rev. Ryu was trying to explain. That is why through the death of Jesus Christ, it shows that Jesus completely died but all of the sins and curses of mankind were transferred over to Satan.
To show the fulfillment of this, this is seen in the scripture of Romans 8:11 (“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”) - Jesus is God so He cannot die. And, He possesses the power to raise from the dead because He is God. But Jesus Christ died and did not resurrect by His own power. Who raised up Jesus Christ from the dead? It said in the scripture that God raised Jesus from the dead. Why did Jesus Christ did not raise up from the dead by His own power and will? This is because when Jesus Christ died, He bore all of the sins of mankind and then died in human flesh. When Jesus Christ died, not only did Jesus Christ die but all of the sins of mankind died along with Him. That is why Jesus Christ did not raise up with His own will. And, that is why God raised up Jesus Christ from the dead. This means that God was asking for all of the sins of mankind to be given to Him. What does this mean? We who are within Jesus Christ have also been resurrected along with Jesus Christ. This shows how important the role of Jesus Christ is as the True King.
2. His Ministry as the King
1) The greatest gospel
Verse 14 - In order to save mankind, Jesus Christ died for us even though He was without sin. Jesus Christ came to destroy the power of Satan, the Azazel. Satan thought that if he made sure Jesus Christ died then that would be the end of all things but what he didn’t know was that through the death of Jesus Christ, that bought his ultimate destruction.
2) The fruit of the gospel
Verse 15 - What people fear the most is death. But the fruit for the gospel liberates us from death. Through Jesus Christ as the True King, He has given us the power to be freed from death. This is one of the greatest blessing. The greatest way to be healed is to be healed from death. Jesus Christ completed everything on the cross. People are living in this world suffering and being deceived by Satan and the world. But what we must hold onto is that Jesus Christ said that He completed everything on the cross. Enjoy this in the name of Jesus Christ. There are great blessings given to us as children of God.
3. The Blessing of God's Children
1) Blessings of Abraham's descendants
Verse 16 - What was the reason why Jesus Christ came down to Earth? He came to save His children. He did not die on the cross to save angels. There is an important difference here. Angels also fell into sin and corruption, that is how Satan was formed. But there is no message and reference in the Bible that indicates that Jesus Christ came and died to save angels and it is absolutely says this in this scripture. But why did He come down to earth? He came down for His children and those within the covenant. He came for you. Jesus Christ died on the cross and completely finished all things. He completed all things on the cross.
2) Those who take hold of the covenant
John 19:30 (“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”) - It is finished. It is completely finished. All of our sins, curses, and suffering have all been solved on the cross when He died for us. Hold onto the covenant. It is completely finished. If we don’t start our walk of faith from this, then we cannot block the deceptions of Satan. The prayer journal message continues to tell us that those who have confirmation and assurance within the covenant, their start is different from those who don’t have this confirmation and assurance. There is a vast difference. Those who believe that Jesus Christ finished all things on the cross possess peace within their hearts. But the problem is that majority of the people don’t have peace. Even though Jesus Christ finished everything on the cross, people don’t have peace and are constantly anxious. But those who have assurance that Jesus Christ finished all things, they are able to give thanksgiving. They are truly thankful because they are able to see that Jesus Christ died on the cross for them and finished all things. Those who are not able to come to this conclusion, they are constantly grumbling and complaining like Satan. If you are able to have this assurance, then you will change yourself and your family, finances, and workplace and all things will change. Everything will be determined if you believe in this or not. Those who hold onto this covenant, then all things are finished for you.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”) - The moment we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts, we have become a new creation. Do you have any problems? Hold onto the covenant. The prayer journal message told us that we must remain humble during times of problems and answers. Jesus Christ saved us and made us His brethren so there is no need for us to be arrogant but we need to stay humble. Start in the lowest place. Live a humble life. May we live a life where we can only uplift God. May we enjoy the greatest identity and authority as children of God. May we live constantly while praying and holding onto Acts 1:1, 3, and 8, which speaks about Jesus Christ, Kingdom of the God, and the working of the Holy Spirit. May great answers be given to you.

Hold onto 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”) - Do you understand God’s will?
