1 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 큰 서판을 가지고 그 위에 통용 문자로 마헬살랄하스바스라 쓰라
2 내가 진실한 증인 제사장 우리야와 여베레기야의 아들 스가랴를 불러 증언하게 하리라 하시더니
3 내가 내 아내를 가까이 하매 그가 임신하여 아들을 낳은지라 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 그의 이름을 마헬살랄하스바스라 하라
4 이는 이 아이가 내 아빠, 내 엄마라 부를 줄 알기 전에 다메섹의 재물과 사마리아의 노략물이 앗수르 왕 앞에 옮겨질 것임이라 하시니라
5 여호와께서 다시 내게 말씀하여 이르시되
6 이 백성이 천천히 흐르는 실로아 물을 버리고 르신과 르말리야의 아들을 기뻐하느니라
7 그러므로 주 내가 흉용하고 창일한 큰 하수 곧 앗수르 왕과 그의 모든 위력으로 그들을 뒤덮을 것이라 그 모든 골짜기에 차고 모든 언덕에 넘쳐
8 흘러 유다에 들어와서 가득하여 목에까지 미치리라 임마누엘이여 그가 펴는 날개가 네 땅에 가득하리라 하셨느니라 (이사야8:1-8)
서론
본부 1부 예배에서 들은 이야기다. 알렉산더 로이드 라는 목사님에 대한 이야기다. 그 사람은 자연 의학 박사 이기도 하면서 심리학 박사 이기도 하다. 로이드 목사의 부인인 트레이시가 심한 우울증에 걸렸었다고 한다. 어느정도로 심했냐하면 갑자기 벌컥 화를 내기도 하고 고함을 지르며 발작까지 하는 상태에 이르렀다. 한두번으로 끝나는것이 아니라 지속적으로 그러한 행동을 했다. 둘 사이에는 자녀가 둘이 있었는데 그때문에 아이들도 아주 심리적으로 불안한 상태였다고 한다. 이 목사님은 아내를 치유하기 위해 다방면으로 방법을 찾아다니다가 안되겠다 싶어 처음으로 하나님 앞에 진심으로 기도 하기 시작했다고 한다. 기도하는 목사님의 모습을 보신 하나님이 큰 은혜를 베풀어주셨다. 그그렇게 하나님께서는 그에게 근원적인 치유하는 방법을 가르쳐주셨다고 한다. 기 이후로 그 부인이 그렇게 심했던 우울증으로 부터 완전히 벗어나게 되었다. 목사님은 이것을 치유에 적용 시키기로 했다. 신체 메카니즘을 방법으로 이용해 치유에 적용했다. 예를 들면, 보통 사람이 기도할때 20분 만에 스트레스가 80% 정도 감소되는것을 확인했다. 또 감사를 할때는 심장박동이 안정이 된다는 점을 발견했다. 이러한 점을 적용해 사모님이 완전히 우울증에서 치유 되었다. 사모님이 치유 되는 모습을 보고 이 치유 방법을 알리기 위해 힐링코드 라는 회사를 설립하게 된다. 지금 현재 미국 50개주, 전세계 90개 나라에서 수천명이 힐링코드 를 이용해 치유 받고 있다고 한다. 그분이 치유하는 방법을 보면 주로 세가지를 가지고 치유 하는것을 볼수가 있다. 몸에 잠재된 면역 체계를 강화시키는 방법, 또 마음속에 있는 스트레스를 제거하는 방법이 있다, 그리고 그가 가진 불신앙을 말씀 묵상과 호흡을 통해 제거를 시키는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 이 방법을 적용했더니 불치병중 하나인 루게릭 병 까지도 치유 할수 있었다고 한다.
이 사람은 현재 이렇게 환자를 치료하는 코치를 약 200명 양성하는 중에 있다고 한다. 저는 이분이 사역 하는것을 찾아보고 알아보게 되었다. 여러분도 관심있는 분들은 찾아보시라. 제가 조사해서 얻은 결과로는 근본적인 치유가 말씀 묵상과 호흡에서 모두 이루어지는구나 발견할수 있었다. 저는 그걸 보면서 우리가 지금 보좌의 축복이라는 말씀 붙들고 묵상기도 하는데 이것을 호흡을 적용해서 지속하면 어떤 문제나 질병도 치유될수 있겠구나 확신이 들었다. 지금 우리가 3,9,3 기도 묵상을 하면서 체험을 하고 있지만 3,9,3 기도 하면서 많은 치유를 받고 힘을 얻고 성령을 체험할수있다. 지금 우리가 하는것을 통해서 앞으로 엄청난 축복의 역사를 체험할수 있겠구나 느꼈다. 어떻게 우리가 이런 소망을 우리가 가질수 있는가 이 말이다. 지금 우리를 치유 하시는 분은 살아계시는 하나님 아버지 되신다. 성삼위 하나님께서 지금도 똑같이 역사하고 계시기 때문이다. 저는 오늘 하나님께서 주신 본문 말씀 통해 다시한번 큰 확신을 가지게 되었다.
1. 마헬살렐 하스바스 Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz
1) 하나님의 마음 God's heart
사 Isaiah 8:1-4
오늘 주신 말씀이 우리에게 굉장히 중요한 말씀이다. 1절 말씀 보게 되면 “여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 큰 서판을 가지고 그 위에 통용 문자로 마헬살랄하스바스라 쓰라" 라고 되어있다. 하나님께서 이사야에게 큰 서판을 가져다가 누구나 알아볼수 있게 큰 글자로 쓰라 명령 하신것이다. 그 내용인즉 “마헬살라하스바스" 이다. 이 말은 신속히, 재물을, 급히, 노략물을 - 하는 뜻을 가지고 있다. 그것은 하나님께서 아람과 북이스라엘 나라를 급속하게 멸망 시킬것이다 하는 것을 예언하는 말이다. 모두가 볼수 있도록, 내 말이 정말인지 아닌지 한번 보아라, 모두가 볼수 있도록 크게 써놓아라 이사야에게 말씀 하시는것이다. 2절 말씀 보면, “내가 진실한 증인 제사장 우리야와 여베레기야의 아들 스가랴를 불러 증언하게 하리라 하시더니" 라고 나와있다. 여기서 나오는 우리야와 스가랴 라는 사람은 아하스 왕의 최측근의 왕의 신임을 얻은 자들이었다. 아하스가 얼마나 이들을 신임했는지, 아하스가 다메섹에 가서 우상제단 보고 큰 감동을 받아 똑같은 우상을 짓도록 명하고 그대로 우상을 지은 사람이 우리야 이다. 하나님께서 그 사람을 증인으로 세웠다 하셨다. 이것이 무슨 말인가. 가장 정확하게 이 메시지를 아하스 왕에게 전달할 사람으로 그를 지목 한것이다. 그 뿐만 아니다, 3절에, “내가 내 아내를 가까이 하매 그가 임신하여 아들을 낳은지라 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 그의 이름을 마헬살랄하스바스라 하라” 하고 기록되어있다. 하나님께서는 이사야에게 아들을 허락하여서 그 아들의 이름을 아람과 북이스라엘이 급히 멸망할것이다- 라고 지으라 하시는것이다. 그렇게 되면 이사야의 아들을 본 사람들이 그의 이름을 부를때마다 그 뜻을 생각하게 되는것이다. 언제 멸망 당하는지는 4절에 나온다, “이는 이 아이가 내 아빠, 내 엄마라 부를 줄 알기 전에 다메섹의 재물과 사마리아의 노략물이 앗수르 왕 앞에 옮겨질 것임이라 하시니라”. 그때는 머지 않아 아이가 말을 시작할때, 그때가 그들이 멸망당할 때 이다 라고 말하는것이다. 말씀 하신 대로 아람은 BC 732년에 북이스라엘은 BC 722년에 멸망한다. 이것을 보며 하나님의 마음을 조금 깨달으실수 있지 않으신가. 하나님께서는 말씀하신것을 반드시 이룰것이다 하시며 계속적으로 이사야의 아들의 이름과 여러 사건 통해 말씀하고 계신것이다. 이것이 모두 나를 믿으라 하는 말씀 이다. 벌벌 떨고 있는 아하스 왕과 유대백성 보시면서 이 말이 확실히 이루어 질것이니 내 말을 믿으라 하고 말씀 하시는것이다. 세상의 역사를 주관하는 자는 그들이 아닌 나 이다 라고 말씀 하시는것이다.
2) 하나님의 신실하심 God's faithfulness
사 Isaiah 8:6-8
이어서 하나님께서는 이사야에게 말씀 하신다. 6절에 보면, “이 백성이 천천히 흐르는 실로아 물을 버리고 르신과 르말리야의 아들을 기뻐하느니라” 라고 되어있다. 너희들이 이렇게 고통받고 있는 그 원인이 바로 이것이다 말씀 하시는것이다. “천천히 흐르는 실로아 물을 버렸다고 나온다”. 이 실로아 물 이라는것은, 요한복음 9:7에 보면 예수님이 소경의 눈을 고치신 못이다. 실로아 물을 버렸다는 말은 하나님의 말씀을 이들이 버렸다는것을 의미한다. “실로아 물을 버리고 르신과 르말리야의 아들을 기뻐하느니라” - 역대하28:23 에 보면 그들이 기뻐했던 이유가 나온다. 아하스의 이야기이다, “자기를 친 다메섹 신들에게 제사하여 이르되 아람 왕들의 신들이 그들을 도왔으니 나도 그 신에게 제사하여 나를 돕게 하리라 하였으나 그 신이 아하스와 온 이스라엘을 망하게 하였더라” 이것이 아하스 왕의 생각 이자 믿음 이었다. 무슨 말인가 하면, 흘러나오는 하나님의 말씀을 받는 것보다 차라리 그들이 섬긴 우상을 같이 섬겨 그들에게서 축복을 받는게 낫겠다 여기며 하나님을 버렸다는 말이다. 마헬살랄 하스바스 라는 말을 적어주고 보여줬음에도 불구하고 그 말씀 그대로 받아드리지 않고 자꾸만 우상숭배 하는 방향으로 찾아 가는것이다. 하나님께서는 또 말씀 하신다. 7절 “그러므로 주 내가 흉용하고 창일한 큰 하수 곧 앗수르 왕과 그의 모든 위력으로 그들을 뒤덮을 것이라 그 모든 골짜기에 차고 모든 언덕에 넘쳐”. 유대백성이 우상을 섬기고 있음에도 불구하고 하나님께서는 말씀을 약속 하셨기 때문에 앗수르 군대를 사용 하셔서 두 나라를 완전히 점령 시키겠다 라는것을 나타낸다. 뿐만 아니라 8절 말씀 보게 되면 “흘러 유다에 들어와서 가득하여 목에까지 미치리라 임마누엘이여 그가 펴는 날개가 네 땅에 가득하리라 하셨느니라”. 그들을 칠 뿐만 아니라 하나님께서는 유다에 까지 쳐들어와 물이 목에 까지 찬다는 말의 의미로 너희들도 큰 타격을 받게 될것이다 라고 말씀 하시는것이다. 그런데 이후에 또 놀라운 말씀 나타나고 있다. 8절 마지막 보게 되면, “임마누엘이여 그가 펴는 날개가 네 땅에 가득하리라 하셨느니라" 이라고 나온다. 함께 계신 하나님이여 그의 놀라운 능력의 역사가 온땅을 덮고 보호해 주시겠다 이 말이다. 그 나라들은 멸망 당할것이지만 유다는 내가 끝까지 지켜주겠다 이 뜻이다. 하나님께서 세우신 자기 백성들 유다가 하나님을 배반 할때 하나님은 변함없이 그들을 지키시고 보호 하시는것을 볼수가 있다. 이러한 어려움 통해서 빨리 나에게 돌아오라 말씀하고 계시는데 백성들은 돌아오지 않고 계속 멸망의 길로 가는 모습이다. 하나님께서는 그들을 돌아오게 하기 위해 지속적으로 그들에게 사랑과 관심을 베푸시는것을 볼수가 있다.
2. 임마누엘이여 O Immanuel
1) 계속 베푸시는 은혜 Continued grace
사 Isaiah 8:9-15
시 Psalm 62:7
그러면서 유대백성들에게 말씀 주시는것을 볼수가 있다. 9절 말씀 보면, “너희 민족들아 함성을 질러 보아라 그러나 끝내 패망하리라 너희 먼 나라 백성들아 들을지니라 너희 허리를 동이라 그러나 끝내 패망하리라 너희 허리에 띠를 띠라 그러나 끝내 패망하리라” 이라고 나온다. 그러니까 아람 나라와 북이스라엘, 앗수르까지 결코 유다를 점령하지 못하고 패망하고 말것이다 그들은 실패하고 말것이다 세번이나 강조 하시는것이다. 10절 말씀 보면, “너희는 함께 계획하라 그러나 끝내 이루지 못하리라 말을 해 보아라 끝내 시행되지 못하리라 이는 하나님이 우리와 함께 계심이니라”, 너희는 아무리 너희끼리 동맹을 맺고 어떤 시도를 한다고 해도 결코 유다를 점령하지 못할것이다 하시는것이다. 그 이유가 바로 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시기 때문이다. 다시말해 임마누엘로 함께 하신다 이 말로 끝나는것이다. 이 말이 우리 에게 얼마나 큰 위로 되는지 모른다. 우리 앞에 어떤 문제 고난 있다 해도 주님과 함께라면 걱정할 필요 없는것이다. 우리를 향한 하나님의 놀라운 사랑이 있기 때문이다. 우리 하나님은 온 세상의 주관자 되시는 분이다. 이어서 11절에 나온다, “여호와께서 강한 손으로 내게 알려 주시며 이 백성의 길로 가지 말 것을 내게 깨우쳐 이르시되”. 얼마나 놀라운 말인가, “여호와께서 강한 손으로 내게 알려 주시며 이 백성의 길로 가지 말 것을 내게 깨우쳐 이르시되” 백성들이 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 않고 자꾸 외면하는데도 불구하고 꺠닫게 하기 위해 계속해서 시도 하시는 모습이다. 그러면서 12절에 말씀 하시기를, “이 백성이 반역자가 있다고 말하여도 너희는 그 모든 말을 따라 반역자가 있다고 하지 말며 그들이 두려워하는 것을 너희는 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말고”. 아하스는 자기 노선을 따르지 않는 자들을 모두 반역자로 여긴다 해도 너희 백성들은 두려워 하지 말라 이 말이다. 아람과 앗수르가 아무리 강하다 한들 너희들은 절대 두려워 할 필요 없다고 말씀하신다. 그러면서 13절에 말씀 하신다, “만군의 여호와 그를 너희가 거룩하다 하고 그를 너희가 두려워하며 무서워할 자로 삼으라.” 오직 우리가 두려워 할 자는 살아계신 하나님 뿐이시다. 오직 거룩하고 신실하신 공의의 하나님만이 우리가 두려워 할 존재이시다 그 말을 하는것이다. 하나님 만이 우리가 두려워 할 존재 되시지 세상 그 어떤것도 우리를 두렵게 할수 없다. 14절에 계속해서 말씀하신다, “그가 성소가 되시리라” 우리의 피난처 되신다는 말이다. 시편 62:7에, “나의 구원과 영광이 하나님께 있음이여 내 힘의 반석과 피난처도 하나님께 있도다". 우리의 구원과 영광은 오직 하나님께로부터 비롯되는것이다. 그 어떠한 다른 세상 권세나 다른 누구에 의해 영광 받는것이 아니라는것이다. 우리의 반석과 피난처도 하나님께만 있다, 그러니 우리의 성소 되신 하나님만 붙잡으라 이 말이다.
2) 계속되는 메시지 Continued message
사 Isaiah 8:16-18
그러면서 14절에 계속해서 이야기 하신다, “그러나 이스라엘의 두 집에는 걸림돌과 걸려 넘어지는 반석이 되실 것이며 예루살렘 주민에게는 함정과 올무가 되시리니”. 하나님을 믿고 하나님을 따르는 자에게는 모든 영광과 힘이 그에게서 나오지만 믿지 않는 자들에게는 그것이 그들의 함정과 올무가 될것 이라는 말씀이다. 또 15절 말씀 보면, “많은 사람들이 그로 말미암아 걸려 넘어질 것이며 부러질 것이며 덫에 걸려 잡힐 것이니라”, 이 반석되신 하나님을 내 주인으로 받아드려야 내가 그 안에서 구원을 받게 될텐데 이를 거절 하는 자에게는 되려 그것이 올무가 되어 장애물이 된다는 말이다. 이 하나님의 길로 가지 않고 자기의 길을 자꾸만 찾아 가는 모습이다. 세상 사람들이 말하는 자기의 길이 뭔가. 자기 욕심 채우는 것이다. 자기 성공을 위해 사는것이다. 자기 육신의 정욕과 쾌락을 위해서 사는것이다. 도무지 자기 욕심과 하나님의 길은 맞지가 않는것이다. 그래서 자꾸만 걸리고 넘어지고 부러지고 덫에 걸려 붙잡히게 되는것이다. 그 길은 멸망이 있을뿐이다, 하나님을 우리의 주인으로 모시고 살때야만 제대로 살수 있는것이지 그를 떠나면 멸망의 길로 갈수밖에 없다 이 말이다. 여기서 끝나지 않고 하나님께서는 계속해서 말씀을 주고 계신다, “너는 증거의 말씀을 싸매며 율법을 내 제자들 가운데에서 봉함하라”. 이 말의 뜻은, 말씀을 받아들이는 자 에게만 하나님께서 허락해 주시는것을 나타낸다. 하나님의 은혜의 말씀은 그것을 받고 믿는 자에게만 적용 되는것이다. 나의 말씀으로 잡고 기도할때 거기서 응답이 떨어지는것이다. 그래서 이 말씀을 들은 이사야는 17절에 이야기 한다, “이제 야곱의 집에 대하여 얼굴을 가리시는 여호와를 나는 기다리며 그를 바라보리라”. 이사야가 말하기를, 나는 여호와 만을 기다리고 그 만을 바라보겠다 하는것이다. 그 이유가 18절에 나온다, “ 보라 나와 및 여호와께서 내게 주신 자녀들이 이스라엘 중에 징조와 예표가 되었나니 이는 시온 산에 계신 만군의 여호와께로 말미암은 것이니라” 이사야는 지금 하나님만 기다리면서 하나님만 바라 보는데 그 이유가 바로 하나님이 말씀을 통해 그에게 친히 증거로 주신것을 붙잡고 있다는 말이다. 그 증거로 내가 자녀를 낳을때 그 아들의 이름을 하나님이 주시지 않았나 이 말인것이다. 이사야 라는 이름의 의미는 여호와의 구원 이라는 뜻이다. 스알야숩 이라는 이름은 남은자는 돌아온다 라는 의미를 가지고 있다. 또 마헬살랄 하스바스는 노략이 속히 성취 될것이다 라는 의미를 가지고 있다. 이 모든 말씀이 바로 시온산, 하늘의 보좌로 부터 나온 응답의 말씀 이었다는 말이다. 이렇게 이사야는 계속 메시지를 받으면서 말씀의 흐름 따라 시대와 역사가 흘러가는 것을 체험 한것이다. 그렇게 미래에 일어날 일 까지도 메시지로 받은것이다.
3. 말씀의 비밀 The mystery of the Word

무슨 말씀인가. 하나님 말씀만이 내가 살수있는 유일한 길 이다 라는것을 의미하는것이다. 그러면서 19절에 말한다, “어떤 사람이 너희에게 말하기를 주절거리며 속살거리는 신접한 자와 마술사에게 물으라 하거든 백성이 자기 하나님께 구할 것이 아니냐 산 자를 위하여 죽은 자에게 구하겠느냐 하라”. 하나님을 믿지 않는 사람들은 어떤 인생을 살고있나 이 말이다. 그것은 미래가 불안한 삶이다. 그러니 마술 하는자나 신접한 자를 찾아간다. 주절거리며 속삭이는 모습은 그때 당시 무당들이 마약이나 이상한 향에 취해 비몽사몽 간에 주절거리며 귀신이 하는 말을 되풀이 하는 모습이다. 그 귀신의 말을 받고 나의 신께서 이런 말씀을 주셨구나 믿고 그 말대로 살아가는것이다. 오늘 여기서 말씀 한다, “산 자를 위하여 죽은 자에게 구하겠느냐 하라". 요즘도 가끔 교회 다니는 사람이 무당을 찾아갔다 하는 소리를 듣는다. 응답이라는 것을 전혀 모르는 사람이기 때문에 답답하니 무당이나 찾아가자 하는것 같다. 성경에서 이야기 하고 있다, 그것은 죽은자 에게 답을 구하러 찾아가는것이다. 하나님께서는 이에 대해 정확하게 20절에 말씀 하고 계신다, “마땅히 율법과 증거의 말씀을 따를지니 그들이 말하는 바가 이 말씀에 맞지 아니하면 그들이 정녕 아침 빛을 보지 못하고”, 이 무당한테 찾아가고 점쟁이 한테 찾아가는게 아니라, 우리가 마땅히 찾을 것은 미래의 빛 되는 하나님의 말씀 이다 이 말이다. 우리는 말씀 통해서 모든것에 해답 얻는것이다. 이사야는 마헬살랄 하스바스, 즉 모든것이 멸망 받을것이나 남은자들은 돌아올것이다 라는 사실을 말씀의 흐름 속에 모두 잡고 있었던 것이다. 우리는 지금 강단통해 흘러 나오는 말씀 통해 앞으로 되어질것, 우리가 받을것까지 모든것이 선포되어지고 있다. 그런데 이 말씀을 무시해 버리면 어떻게 되겠나. 말씀을 듣지 못하게 되면 무당에게 찾아갈수 밖에 없는것이다. 여기서 그 말씀을 한다, “그들이 말하는 바가 이 말씀에 맞지 아니하면 그들이 정녕 아침 빛을 보지 못하고” 말씀을 떠나게 되면 나의 미래를 볼수 있는 눈이 있을수가 없다 이 말이다. 그러니 헤멜수 밖에 없는것이다. 그래서 21절에 나타난다, “이 땅으로 헤매며 곤고하며 굶주릴 것이라 그가 굶주릴 때에 격분하여 자기의 왕과 자기의 하나님을 저주할 것이며 위를 쳐다보거나”, 말씀의 인도를 받지 못하니 미래를 알수 없어 헤메이는것이다. 여기서 참 무서운 것은 곤고하며 굶주릴 것이라 하는 부분이다. 이것의 원래 의미는 사막에서 음식도 물도 얻지 못하는 허덕이는 상태를 말하고 있는것이다. 하는것마다 안되는 정도가 아니라 완전히 망하는 정도이다. 그러면 이들이 어떤 삶을 살게 될것인가. 자기 왕과 하나님을 저주 하는 상태이다. 왕 뿐만이 아니라 하나님을 저주하는 원망과 불평의 삶을 살게 되는것이다. 자기 욕심을 채우지 못한 불신자들 보시라. 얼마나 원망 불평 불신앙에 갇혀 사는지 모른다. 이것이 불신자들의 원래모습이다. 이것은 반대로 무엇을 이야기 하나, 그들은 그러한 문제를 당하더라도 회개 하지 못한다 라는 말이다. 회개만 하면 사는데 그러지 못하고 원망 하고 불평한다 이 말이다. 22절 보게 되면 앞으로의 미래의 모습이 나온다, “땅을 굽어보아도 환난과 흑암과 고통의 흑암뿐이리니 그들이 심한 흑암 가운데로 쫓겨 들어가리라”. 캄캄한 미래, 아무것도 보이지 않는 환난과 고통의 흑암 뿐인 미래를 말한다. 놀라운 말씀은 “그들이 심한 흑암 가운데로 쫓겨 들어가리라". 영원한 멸망 가운데, 지옥으로 들어간다는 말이다. 하나님 떠나게 되면 이러한 문제들이 생길것이다 하는것을 적나라 하게 말씀 하시는것이다. 지금 왜 이 말씀을 하시는가. 유다 백성들 향해 이런 말씀 하신 이유는 나를 떠나면 이러한 결과를 맞을테니까 제발 내 말을 믿고 따라라 말씀 하시는것이다. 너희들이 내 말을 떠나면 이러한 고통과 어려움 속에 살수밖에 없으니 믿음을 가지고 회개하고 나에게 돌아와라, 그리하면 네게 모든 축복을 다 주겠다 하시는것이다. 참생명의 비밀이 어디에 들어있나. 내가 말씀을 잡았느냐 아니냐 여기서 결판 나는것이다. 참 축복은 내가 말씀 따라 사느냐 안 사느냐 여기에 따라 결정되는것이다. 여기서 참 응답의 비밀 붙잡아야겠다. 오늘 말씀 통해서 너무나도 간단한 진리를 발견할수 있다. 이 말씀 받으며, 아이고 하나님 떠나니 정말 저주받고 힘든 삶이네 이 정도로 생각 하시나. 단지 유다 백성들을 위협을 주기 위해 하신 말씀이 아니다. 너희들이 은혜로 받을 아주 쉬운 길이 있다, 거기로 돌아오라 라고 가르쳐 주시는것이다. 하나님은 누구든지 항상 하나님께로 돌아오기를 원하시고 계신다. 그래서 하나님 떠난 자들에게 여러 징조와 어려움 주시며 빨리 돌아와라, 정신좀 차려라 이놈아 하시고 계신 것이다. 그래서 주님 앞에 나와 주님, 정말 제가 잘못했습니다, 이 한마디면 끝나는 것이다.

요한일서 1:9 이다, “만일 우리가 우리 죄를 자백하면 그는 미쁘시고 의로우사 우리 죄를 사하시며 모든 불의에서 우리를 깨끗케 하실 것이요". 과거에 어떤 큰 죄를 지었다고 해도 주님께 돌아가 잘못했습니다 제대로 회개하고 돌아오면 하나님께서는 다 받아주시고 깨끗하게 해주신다. 또 항상 고통에서 우리를 건져내시기를 원하시는 분이 하나님 이시다. 예수 믿는데 왜 이렇게 고통받지 하는 사람들이 있다. 하나님께서는 나쁜 마음을 가지고 자식이 고통받기 원하는 분이 아니다. 고통 속에서 나와 행복한 삶을 살기를 원하시는 분이 우리 하나님 이시다. 주님께서도 말씀 하셨다, 마12:28, “수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라". 내게 와서 모든것을 있는 그대로 내려 놓아라 그러면 내가 너를 쉬게 하리라. 얼마나 쉬운 일인가. 여기에 혹시 우울증 걸린 분 계신가, 내려놓고 참 생명의 길, 말씀의 길로 가라 이 말이다. 하나님께서는 항상 우리에게 임마누엘의 축복 주시기를 원하신다. 우리를 부르신 이유도 우리와 함께 있게 하시려 라고 하셨다. 그렇다면 임마누엘 어떻게 하나, 계시록 3:20, “볼지어다 내가 문 밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그와 더불어 먹고 그는 나와 더불어 먹으리라", 나를 주인으로 모시기만 해라 내가 네 힘이 되고 너와 함께해 능력을 주겠다 말씀 하시는것이다. 임마누엘이 얼마나 쉬운가, 모셔 두기만 하면 되는것이다. 오늘 본문 보면서 아 축복 받는것은 이렇게 참 쉬운 일이구나 다시한번 깨달았다. 세상 말 이지만 하나님께서는 마치 우리에게 축복과 응답 주시기 위해 잔뜩 안달 나신것 같다. 유다 백성들은 싫다고 하는데도 찾아가서 아냐, 너 이거 받아라 하시면서 계속 강요하는 모습 인거다. 우리 하나님이 그러한 분 이시다. 문만 열면 모든것을 다 받아갈수 있다. 이 축복 받는 여러분 되시기를 바란다.

말씀 맺겠다, 마태복음 6:33 잡으시라, “너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라". 하나님의 소원이 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라, 그리하면 모든것을 다 네게 주겠다 하시는것이다. 응답받기 너무 쉽다. 하나님께서 이렇게 주시겠다 약속 하고 계신데 우리가 믿지 않아서 이다. 이 축복 받는 여러분 되시기를 바란다. 이번주에 여태껏 받지 못한 축복 다 받으시기를 바란다.
Call His Name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz (Isaiah 8:1-8)

“1 Moreover the Lord said to me, 'Take a large scroll, and write on it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. 2 And I will take for Myself faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.' 3 Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the Lord said to me, 'Call his name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz; 4 for before the child shall have knowledge to cry ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be taken away before the king of Assyria.' 5 The Lord also spoke to me again, saying: 6 'Inasmuch as these people refused The waters of Shiloah that flow softly, And rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s son; 7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up over them The waters of the River, strong and mighty— The king of Assyria and all his glory; He will go up over all his channels And go over all his banks. 8 He will pass through Judah, He will overflow and pass over, He will reach up to the neck; And the stretching out of his wings Will fill the breadth of Your land, O Immanuel.”
Introduction
From the first service headquarter message, it was about pastor Alexander Boyd. He was a doctor of psychology and natural medicine but his wife, Tracy fell into severe depression. Her depression was so severe that she would suffer from severe mood swings as well as would start yelling randomly and have seizures. Not only that but these episodes would occur frequently. They had two children but their children grew up in an anxious environment because of their mother. In order to heal his wife, the pastor would search many places and research a lot of things but these methods didn’t work. But this pastor started praying before God sincerely since nothing worked out. When God saw pastor Alexandra praying, God gave him grace. God granted him the method of true healing. His wife, who suffered from severe depression, was completely healed. There were some applications and methods that he applied to heal her depression. For instance, when he prayed, he researched and found that when you pray for 20 minutes, 80% of your stress decreases. Not only that but when you have a heart of thanksgiving and give thanksgiving, then your heart rate decreases as well. He applied these methods and his wife was completely healed. After pastor Boyd saw his wife getting healed, he wanted to share these healing methods so he set up a healing company called, “Healing Code.” There are 60 company sites and many places throughout the world that are utilizing these healing methods. There are three methods of healing that they primarily use. First, they would emphasize the immune system and focus on building and strengthening it up. They would target to decrease the amount of stress on the body. Not only that but through deep meditation on the Word of God and deep breathing, they would heal disbelief. They utilized these methods and they were able to heal many diseases, and even the disease, ALS. Not only that but he became a coach to heal patients and raised up 200 coaches to spread these healing methods. I looked into what this pastor was doing and those who are interested, I encourage you to look into this as well. While looking into this, I realized that fundamental healing can be found within the word of God, meditation, and deep breathing. When I saw this, I realized that if we continue to meditate on the heavenly throne of God, then we can heal any disease and illness. Right now, we are doing the meditation on the 393 prayer but realistically, when we pray with the 393 prayer then great healing and power of the Holy Spirit comes upon us. What we are doing right now, I guarantee you that you can receive complete healing. How are we able to have hope? Right now, the being who can heal us is the almighty God alone and this God is with us. This almighty Triune God is working even now. I was able to gain reassurance of this with today’s Biblical scripture passage. Today’s sermon that God has given to us is very important.
1. Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz
1) God's heart
Verse 1 - God gave a command to Isaiah. Take a large scroll and write words on it so that everyone could see it, and see what is written on it. God commands Isaiah to write, “Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.” This means, “Quickly to the plunder.” This means God will quickly destroy the land of Judah by the Assyrian army. God is commanding Isaiah to write it down on paper so everyone will know that what God commands will actually happen.
Verse 2 - Uriah and Zechariah were two priests and they were the close aides of King Ahaz. King Ahaz received a lot of grace from the idols of Damascus and Uriah the priest made the exact idols for King Ahaz. It said that God raised up witnesses. What does this mean? God was raising up someone to relay the accurate message to King Ahaz.
Verse 3 - God granted Isaiah a son and God commanded Isaiah to name his son, “Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz” to show that the destruction of Judah will absolutely occur. When people saw the son of Isaiah, they were able to remember and know that Judah will ultimately fall and be destroyed. When will the destruction of Judah take place?
Verse 4 - When the child, Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz, can start talking, that is when Judah will be destroyed. Just as God commanded and Isaiah prophesied, Judah was completely destroyed by the Assyrian and Northern Israel armies in 722 BC. When you look at this, you can see the heart of God. God is a being who will absolutely fulfill what He commands. God was giving assurance of Judah’s destruction within the name of Isaiah’s son. God was telling the people of God to believe what He is saying. God was commanding His people to truly believe what He is saying. It was not the enemies of Judah who will destroy Judah but God will destroy Judah. God gave another word to Isaiah.
2) God's faithfulness
Verses 6-8 - This was the reason why Judah had no choice but to suffer. They were rejecting the gentle water of Shiloah. This channel of Shiloah came from a spring of Gihon in John 5:9 “And He said to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.” - This was the location, Siloam, where Jesus healed a blind man. The fact that they were throwing away Siloam meant they were throwing away and rejecting God’s word. Shiloah meant that they were rejecting God’s word.
2 Chronicles 28:23 “For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him, saying, “Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me.” But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.” - This means that rather than following the flow of God’s word, the people of Judah were worshiping idols instead. They rejected God. They were living a walk of faith where they completely rejected God. Even though God was showing that the destruction of Judah through the name of Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz will take place, they continued to worship idols.
God continued to speak in verse 7 - God used the army of Assyria to completely destroy Judah in two days because Judah kept worshiping idols even though God commanded them not to.
Verse 8 - God was saying that He will cause the waters to flow to the neck. What is more surprising was that God will spread His wings over the land of Judah. God said that even though Judah will be destroyed, God was saying that He will protect Judah until the end. Even though the people of Judah rejected God, God continued to pour His love and mercy upon them. God gave them constant problems and signs to return back to Him, and warning them of the destruction of Judah but they continued to go towards destruction. We can see that God continued to pour down His grace and mercy until the end.
2. O Immanuel
1) Continued grace
God gave them a reassuring and encouraging word in Isaiah 8:9-15 “ 'Be shattered, O you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Give ear, all you from far countries. Gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces; Gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces. 10 Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, For God is with us.' Fear God, Heed His Word 11 For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying: 12 'Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. 13 The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread. 14 He will be as a sanctuary, But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense To both the houses of Israel, As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble; They shall fall and be broken, Be snared and taken.' ” - Judah would be ultimately destroyed and this was prophesied by God three times.
Isaiah 8:10 - No matter what the enemies do, they won’t be able to destroy Judah. The reason is because God was with them. This was the greatest hope that God gave to them. No matter what problems come to us, if God is with us, then we cannot be destroyed. This is the love that God has for us and because God is in control of the world.
Isaiah 8:11 - This is an amazing message. The people of Judah didn’t listen to the words of God and fell into destruction but God spoke in Isaiah 8:12. Even if people call the words of God “conspiracy” during this time of destruction and tribulation, God said not to fear. No matter how strong the enemies are, God said not to be afraid.
Isaiah 8:13 - This is because the only one we should fear is God alone. We should be fearful of God alone and nothing can be of fear for us.
Isaiah 8:14 and Psalm 62:7 “In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.” - All of our glory and salvation comes from God alone. No one else can receive this glory. This means to hold onto God, our refuge. Those who follow and have faith in God, God will show great strength and hope but those who don’t believe, their disbelief will become their snare and trap.
Isaiah 8:15 - When we accept God who is our refuge then we can be saved but those who don’t believe, then their disbelief will become their snare and trap. They didn’t have faith and hope in God, they were trying to find their hope and refuge elsewhere. For nonbelievers, they are only focused on what they want to do and focus on their own greed. For the sake of their pleasure and gains, they are busy searching and wondering in this world. Their greed doesn’t match with God. That is why they become trapped and snared. These people will face destruction ultimately. When we make God our master, then we can live but if you don’t, then you will face destruction.
2) Continued message
God continued to give a message in Isaiah 8:16-18 “Bind up the testimony, Seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait on the Lord, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him. 18 Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.” - This means those who accept God’s word, God will grant this. God’s word of grace, those who accept and believe in this, then they will receive great answers and blessings. When you hold onto God’s word and believe, then you will receive answers.
Isaiah 8:17 - Isaiah said that he will wait only on the Lord. He will look up to God alone.
Isaiah 8:18 - Isaiah was waiting on the Lord alone and he did this because he was holding onto the word of God as his evidence. He already received God’s word. When God granted Isaiah a son, God already gave Isaiah a name for his son. The meaning of Isaiah means “salvation of the Lord” and one of his son’s names was Shear-jashub, meaning, "The Remaining Few Will Return.” And his other son's name was, Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz, meaning, “Quickly to the plunder.” These names showed the evidence of God. Isaiah was following the flow of the word of God. That is why he was able to receive God’s word for the future. This means that only God’s word is the way to live.
3. The Mystery of the Word
1) The mystery of true life
Isaiah 8:19-22 “And when they say to you, 'Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,' should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. 21 They will pass through it hard-pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry, that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward. 22 Then they will look to the earth, and see trouble and darkness, gloom of anguish; and they will be driven into darkness.” - Those who don’t believe in God, they have no choice but to become afraid of the future. That is why people have no choice but to go to shamans and mediums. Back in the days, the shamans and mediums would take drugs, start hallucinating, and get possessed by evil spirits, and start talking about the future of people. That is why when people heard these predictions from these shamans, they would believe in them. Even church goers, they go visit shamans and fortune tellers as well. They don’t know what true answers are so they visit shamans and fortune tellers. The Bible tells us that these people are visiting and consulting the dead on the behalf of the living.
Isaiah 8:20 - Instead of visiting shamans and fortune tellers, what we must search after is the word of God that will shine the light for the future. We receive all of our answers from the word of God. Through the names of his sons given by God, Isaiah was able to follow and hold onto the word of God as well as see the flow for the future. We can see that the word of God is continuing to be fulfilled in our lives given to us by the pulpit messages. What happens when you ignore God’s word? Then, you have no choice but to visit shamans and fortune tellers. When you leave the word of God, then you will lose the eyes to see the future. Then you have choice but to wonder.
Isaiah 8:21 - If you can’t receive guidance from God’s word, then you have no choice but to wonder. This is very scary. It says that you will be hungry and be enraged. This means that you will have no life and will suffer. You will face absolute destruction. Then, what kind of life will they live? They will end up cursing their king and God. They will start resenting God and live a life complaining and grumbling. The nonbelievers who are always trying to fill their greed and worldly desires, they are always complaining and grumbling. Why do nonbelievers have no choice but to be like and live like that? That is their original state. The commonality among nonbelievers is that they can’t repent so that is why they are always complaining and grumbling because they can’t solve their problems.
Isaiah 8:22 - This shows their future. Their future is filled with darkness. They will be in the midst of trouble, darkness, and gloom of anguish. What is more astounding is that they will be thrown into eternal darkness of hell. When you leave God’s word, then these problems will come upon you. This is the future that God was speaking of. Why was God saying this to Isaiah? God was warning the people of Judah to follow His word. This was God’s way of showing His love. If you leave God, then God is showing them what will happen if you leave Him. But God was saying that if they return back to God, then God was showing that great love and blessings will come to them.
2) The mystery of true answers
Everything is determined on whether or not you are holding onto God’s word or not. What determines if you will receive true blessings or not is if you are living in God’s word or not. God wasn’t trying to put fear in people but God was showing them the simple way to receive great blessings. God’s greatest concern and hope is that His people return back to him. God grants tribulations and problems so that His people can quickly return to Him. Then you can quickly repent before Him.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - No matter what sins you have committed in the past, if you truly and sincerely repent before God, then God said that He will forgive and cleanse you completely. Not only that but God is always pulling us out of our sufferings and problems. You may think that you are a child of God but you wonder why you are still suffering and having problems? You may think that God is always wanting you to suffer but do you think God would want His child to suffer? God wants to pull you out of the suffering. This is who God is and who Jesus Christ is as well.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - God is commanding us to entrust all things to Him and God promised that He will give you rest. This is so easy. All we have to do is entrust all things to God. People who have depression, God is telling you to leave that problem to Him. Go towards God’s word that is the light of life because God wants to give you the blessing of Immanuel. God called us so that we can be with Him.
How can we enjoy Immanuel? Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” - God wants to enter into you and dine with you. All we have to do is accept God in our hearts then God said that He will give you strength and the blessing of Immanuel. Immanuel is so simple. All we have to do is have God come inside our hearts then, we can see how easy it is to receive blessings. In order to bless you, God does everything possible. In order to bless you, God is waiting and always on standby. But the people of Judah were rejecting His blessings but God continued to seek after them and encouraged them to return constantly. If we just open up to God, then we can receive all of the prepared blessings. Truly receive blessings.
Conclusion
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” - God’s hope is for us to seek after His kingdom and righteousness, then God promised that He will give you all things. It is so easy to receive answers. Why can’t we receive answers? We may think it is hard to receive answers. We are not able to receive answers because we can’t believe. Truly receive answers. May you receive blessings you have not been able to receive this week.
