The Start of Eternal Answers in 2025 (Proverbs 18:10)

Rev. Myung-Sin Choi

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Introduction

We received a precious message during the New Year's message. I am not sure what kind of heart you had when you received the message but your posture on how you received the message is very important. This message is the message of life that God has given to you. When you realize this, then great works will arise in your life. If you just received the message as just another message, then no other special answers will be given to you. The message that God has given to us today, we will summarize the New Year’s message. I pray that this message is the message that God has given to our church. May this be the message that will be fulfilled within your personal life and in your family and workplace. God has given us the message of Romans 14:8 “For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”. This is the covenant of your bartizan. We need to hold onto the bartizan always. You are not living for yourself but we are living for the Lord. This is so important. Many people don’t know how they are living their own lives. Everything belongs to God. Is God your master or is Satan your master? You need to find this out. If you live for God, then we need to set our direction straight. We need to hold onto the word of God 100%. The word of God needs to be your bartizan. You need to give 100% to worship and prayer. Our lives need to start with prayer where you can give glory to God throughout your whole day. Right now, we are giving worship to God. You need to pray that through the worship service, you can be a living sacrifice to God. Whenever I receive this message, I am trying to make prayer 24 hours. As I am praying this prayer, I am praying that my 24 hours prayer will be the happiest prayer. We need to stake our lives on it. Through the New Year’s message, there is an important message that God will fulfill in our lives.

1. Restoring of the Temple of Light

1) The bartizan of the Word in you

God has given us the word that will be fulfilled. How can we restore the temple of light?

Verse 10 - Hold onto Romans 14:8 and live for God’s glory. This is the bartizan that we must always look towards. If you make this resolution, then when you run to it, you will be safe. Why is that?

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” - Whatever problem or situation comes to us, it doesn’t matter. Through the word of God, it will be our source of light so there is nothing for us to worry about. Who is this word directed towards?

Isaiah 6:13 “But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.” - The holy seed that the Bible speaks of is referring to those who hold onto God’s word. Those who hold onto God’s word in the midst of warfares. This is the way to live. This is the only way to live. Those who hold onto God’s covenant, God’s work of fulfilling His bartizan will take place.

2) The bartizan in the church

Exodus 2:10 And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying, ‘Because I drew him out of the water.’ ” - Pharaoh commanded for all male babies to be killed. At that time, Jochebed held onto God’s covenant. She staked her life and held onto God’s covenant till the end. Through this, God protected Moses no matter what Pharaoh said or what decree he signed. The princess of Egypt, the pharaoh’s daughter, made Moses her son. God used the princess to adopt Moses and placed him in the most safe place. Why is that? In order to save the Israelites and to save those who are remaining.

1 Kings 19:18 “Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him. ” - King Ahab killed every Christian and every person who believed in God. It seemed like King Ahab was killing everyone but God told Elijah that God hid hidden disciples who did not bow down to Baal. Why did they not bow down to Baal? Because in the midst of darkness, there were remnants who were still shining the light of God. God protected His remnants who remained. Those who were supposed to die, they lived. God saved the remnants.

2 Kings 6:17 “And Elisha prayed, and said, 'Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.' Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” - The chariots were surrounding Elisha. Who was Elisha? He was holding onto God’s covenant. God was protecting His remnant. If we hold onto God’s covenant, then God will protect us till the end. This is our bartizan. Hold onto this absolutely. The remaining ones will be protected and guided by God till the end. Why is that? God needs to restore His temple.

3) Restoring the temple in the field

Acts 13:7 Who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.” - God allowed the city to be surrounded by light. Why did God hold onto you? To raise the courtyards for Gentiles.

Acts 16:18 “And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, ‘I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.’ And he came out that very hour.” - Those who cause problems in your individual fields, God will use you so that you can heal those people. May you heal many people. May great works of healing take place through our church.

Acts 19:9 But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.” - This happened in the Ephesus Church. Many people were trying to prevent Paul from sharing the gospel. Paul took all of the remnants into a different place so that he could train them. This is the 3 courtyards that we need to fulfill in our church. I truly believe that our church will raise up the courtyards for our remnants. We are the main figures.

2. Restoring the Economy of the Light

1) The prayer of those who remain

We need to enjoy what God has prepared for us. We need to pray for the remnants. In our fields, we need to restore the economy of light. We need to give thanksgiving to God for this message. What is the economy of light? The economy to save the church, save the future generations, and save the missionaries. Hold onto this with full concentration. Enter into 24 hour prayer with this. Why would God give us the economy of light?

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” - The reason why God blessed us with the economy of light is to shine the light to the ends of the world. We need to set our entire direction towards this. We need to set the correct direction. God will save the church, future generations, and missions through you. Pray this prayer. Before you do your job, start with this prayer. Ask God for help and that only God can help you.

2) The concentration of those who remain

Focus on worship. Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” -  Have success in worship. We need to hold onto the word that Jesus ministered for three years. We must discard all of our standards, desires, and plans. Find everything and all blessings within the pulpit message.

Acts 1:3 “To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” - Through the word of God, we need to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit and possess the power of the heavenly throne. If you can’t receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, then nothing else matters. It doesn’t matter how many messages you receive or how much knowledge you possess. The Spirit is alive. The Lord God is alive. We need to pray for this.

Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” - Hold onto the word of God and pray. Enter forcefully into prayer. Pray for the word of God to be fulfilled in your life. Ask God for strength. Ask God for Him to open the doors of heaven onto you.

3) What to concentrate on for the remainder of your life

Hold onto our life journey. That is Romans 16:1-4, 23 “I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also. Greeting Roman Saints 3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, 4 who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 23 Gaius, my host and the host of the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a brother.” - Pray that you can become like the Roman 16 workers. Be like workers who can be like the light and those who can stake their lives. Pray that you can save the church. Pray holding onto this. Don’t lose hold of these blessings. These are the blessings that God promised you. When you hold onto God’s covenant as yours then it will become yours and will be fulfilled no matter what.

3. Follow the Guideposts of Light

1) What not to be deceived about

Isaiah 45:7 “I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.’ ” - No matter what happens, I always hold onto the word of God. Everything that happens is all part of God’s plan. If that is so, then we need to find God’s plan and we need to see God’s guidepost. We need to not be discouraged by the results of our journey and events in our lives.

2) What to have first

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” - What we must have first is to enjoy the kingdom of God. This year, I pray that all of us can receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. May the same power of the Holy Spirit that came upon Mark’s Upper Room come upon us. The filling of the Holy Spirit is everything. If you don’t receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, then you have no choice but to remain powerless and do strange things. That is why we must enter into 24 hour prayer with this. Then, the blessing of 24, 25, and eternity will come upon you. Then, you can see the guidepost of life.

3) Guideposts of Light

Acts 19:5-6 “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.” - They held onto the word of God and entered into 100% concentration. Then, the power of the Holy Spirit came upon them. Great works and miracles arose as a result.

Acts 19:21 “When these things were accomplished, Paul purposed in the Spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, ‘After I have been there, I must also see Rome.’ ”, Acts 23:11  “But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, ‘Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.’ ”, Acts 27:24 “Saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ ” - After Paul received the filling of the Holy Spirit, Paul realized that he needed to go to Rome. That is why it is so important for us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. That is why Paul was able to receive this message from God. God did not use anyone other than Paul because Paul received the filling of the Holy Spirit. God told Paul that he must go to Rome. He possessed the power of 25 hours. With that power, Paul was able to go to Rome. God promised that He will give us this answer through the New Year’s message. Stake your life for this word and hold onto it.

Conclusion

We must have pure faith. Romans 14: 8 - If you hold onto this, then God will guide you for the rest of your life.
