“나를 찬송하게 하려 함이니라”

“이 백성은 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니 나의 찬송을 부르게 하려 함이니라.” (이사야 43:21)
서론
새해가 밝았다. 새로운 결단을 하고 새로운 시작을 하려한다. 지금까지 새해를 맞이하며 많은 새로운 시작을 맞았다. 그런데 지나고 나면 기대만큼 많은 열매를 맺지 못하는 경우도 있다. 왜 그럴까? 이번에 저는 응답 25 메시지를 통해 완전히 답을 찾았다. 절대로 변하지 않는 나의 과거, 생각과 습관과 삶에서 빠져나오지 못했기때문에 그렇다. 애굽에서 나와 얼마나 많은 축복을 받았나. 그런데 그 이스라엘 백성들이 계속 애굽에 살 당시의 습관과 옛 생각에 빠져나오지 못해 결국에는 멸망당하는 모습을 이사야서를 통해 볼수있다. 여기서 분명히 잡을것은, 하나님의 은혜로 구원을 받았다 하면 그 구원의 능력에 힘입어 믿음으로 도전을 해야할것이다. 다시 말씀드리면 하나님의 시간표 속으로 들어가는것이다. 그래서 하나님의것이 되어야 하는것이다. 그렇게 되기 위해서는 영적인 준비가 필요하다. 우리가 기도를 통해, 묵상을 통해, 포럼을 통해 영적 준비를 하고있다. 분명한것은 영적 준비가 된만큼 반드시 응답이 따른다는 사실이다. 이번에 받은 언약을 분명히 붙잡고 응답받는 여러분 되시기를 바란다.
1. 받은 은혜가 나의 발판 The grace you received is your platform
1) 이 백성은 This people
사 Isaiah 43:1
오늘 우리에게 귀한 말씀 주셨다. 먼저 우리가 붙잡을것은 바로, 내가 받은 은혜가 나의 모든 과거의 발판이 되도록 붙잡아야겠다. 오늘 본문을 보면, “이 백성은 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니 나의 찬송을 부르게 하려 함이니라.” 라고 말씀 하셨다. 그렇다면 먼저 볼것이 여기서 말하는 “이 백성은” 과연 누구인가 하는것이다. 이것을 정확하게 알기 위해서는 이사야 43:1 부터 보아야겠다. 1절 말씀에, “야곱아 너를 창조하신 여호와께서 이제 말씀하시느니라 이스라엘아 너를 조성하신 자가 이제 말씀하시느니라...” 라고 나와있다. 그렇다면 이 백성은 바로 야곱 백성, 이스라엘을 나타내는것임을 알수가 있다. 그렇다면 이스라엘 백성은 누구인가, 바로 언약의 백성이다. 언약이 뭔가? “언약의 백성”에 언약은 창세기 3:15의 여자의 후손 의 언약을 잡은 백성을 나타낸다. 다시 말씀드리면 창 3:15의 언약을 성취할 백성을 말하는것이다. 여러분, 아브라함을 선택하신 이유가 뭔가. 바로 이것을 성취하기 위해서이다. 오늘 말씀에 이스라엘을 불렀다고 했는데 부르신 이유가 뭔가. 아브라함을 부르시고 야곱을 부르신 이유가 그 가문을 통해 그리스도를 보내시기로 작정했다는 말이다. 바로 그것이 언약속에 있는것이다. 그리고 언약속에 있는 백성에게 뭐라고 말씀하시나. 43:1에 이어서, “너는 두려워 말라 내가 너를 구속하였고 내가 너를 지명하여 불렀나니 너는 내 것이라.” 라고 말씀하신다. 하나님께서 그리스도를 보내셔야 했고, 그 그리스도를 보내시기 위해 백성을 선택 하셔야만 했다. 그래서 이 언약안에 있는 백성은 너무나도 귀중한것이다. 그래서 하나님이 부르시기를 “너는 내것이라, 두려워 말라” 하시는것이다. 이것은 바로 이스라엘 백성 뿐만 아니라 언약을 잡고있는 저와 여러분에게도 동일하게 주신 말씀인줄을 믿는다. 그런데 여기서 조금 더 구체적으로 가야겠다. “너는 내것이라” 라고 말씀 하셨다. 여기서 “너” 는 언약의 백성을 말한다.
2) 너(언약의 백성)은 내 것 You (the people of the Covenant) are Mine
사 Isaiah 43:2-4
이 백성에게 얼마나 하나님이 많은 관심을 가지시고 축복 하시는가를 우리가 보아야겠다. 그것이 이사야 43:2에 나타나고있다. “네가 물 가운데로 지날 때에 내가 너와 함께 할 것이라”. 다시 말씀드리면, 하나님이 이 말씀을 성취 시키셨는데, 홍해를 지날때 홍해가 이스라엘 백성을 덮지 못했다는 사실이다. 왜 그렇나. 하나님의 언약이 절대계획 이기 때문이다. 하나님께서 예비하신 그리스도가 반드시 이 땅에 이 백성을 통해 오셔야되기 때문에 이 백성을 홍해가 해치 못한다는 말이다. 뿐만 아니다, “네가 불 가운데로 지날 때에 타지도 아니할 것이요”. 이것은 우리가 다니엘과 세친구를 통해 실질적으로 일어났던 사건임을 알고있다. 다시 말씀드리면, 하나님의 그리스도 언약 안에 있는 자들은 하나님께서 반드시 보호해 주신다는 말이다. 우리가 분명히 잡을것은, 하나님의 언약 안에 있을때는 이렇게 큰 축복 가운데 있고 보호 가운데 있다는 사실을 붙잡아야한다.
2. 와 있는 은혜가 나의 누림 The grace that is already upon you is your enjoyment
1) 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니 Whom I have created for My glory

뿐만 아니다, 이사야 43:3 “대저 나는 여호와 네 하나님이요 이스라엘의 거룩한 이요 네 구원자임이라..” 라고 말씀하셨다. 이 말은 간단히 말하면 – 하나님은 어떤 하나님 이신가, 바로 그리스도의 언약을 붙잡고 있는 자의 하나님이다 – 라는 말이다. 그리스도의 언약 잡은 자는 어떤 축복을 받는지 계속해서 이야기 하고있다, “ 내가 애굽을 너의 속량물로, 구스와 스바를 너를 대신하여 주었노라”. 그리스도의 피의 언약을 잡고있는 사람들이 얼마나 귀중한지, 애굽이라는 거대한 나라를 그리스도의 피를 증거하기 위한 속량물로 삼는 그러한 역사가 일어난 사실이다. 애굽이 그리스도를 증거하기 위해 열가지 어마어마한 재앙을 맞은적도 있다. 애굽은 나라의 모든 장자들, 사람뿐만 아니라 짐승까지도 죽음을 당해야 하는 비극을 맞이한적이 있다. 그 이유가 바로 그리스도의 피를 증거하기 위해서 하나님께서 그렇게 사용하신것이다. 이것을 꼭 잡아야 한다. 모든 세상사, 세상의 역사, 그리고 개인의 역사 마저 그리스도 중심이 되어있다는 사실이다. 이렇게 여러분들이 얼마나 귀중한 존재인지 4절에 또 이야기 하고있다, “네가 내 눈에 보배롭고 존귀하며 내가 너를 사랑하였은즉..” 이것이 바로 우리가 받은 정체성이다. 우리가 누려야할 우리의 발판이다. 우리의 삶의 기도와 모든것은 바로 여기서부터 시작해야 하는것이다. 하나님께서 우리 언약잡은 자를 얼마나 기뻐하시고 우리가 잡은 방향인 237나라와 5,000종족, 그 자체를 얼마나 기뻐하시는지를 이 말씀 통해 다시 붙잡아야한다. 그렇다면 이것으로 우리가 끝나면 안되겠다. 지금 현재 와있는 은혜가 나의 누림이 될수있도록 확실하게 말씀을 붙잡아야겠다. 그것이 바로 오늘 21절 말씀에, “이 백성은 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니” 데서 해답을 찾아볼수 있다. “내가 나를 위해 지었다” 라는 말이 무슨 뜻인가. 하나님께서 스스로를 위해 우리를 지었다고 하시는 말씀이다. 이 말씀을 구체적으로 알기 위해 43:7 말씀을 볼수가 있다, “내 이름으로 불려지는 모든 자 곧 내가 내 영광을 위하여 창조한 자를 오게 하라 그를 내가 지었고 그를 내가 만들었느니라.” 우리를 구원하신 이유, 목적이 무엇인가, 바로 그것은 하나님 자신의 영광을 위해서 라는 말이다. 21절 말씀에, “내가 나를 위하여 지었나니” 이 말도, 하나님이 당신의 영광을 위해 지으셨다는 말이다. 하나님의 영광을 위해 우리가 구원함을 받게 된것이다. 하나님의 영광을 위해 구원함을 받았다고 방금 말씀드렸다. 왜 그렇게 표현했나. 원래 인간은 하나님의 형상대로 지음 받았으나 그 형상을 잃어버렸다. 창2:7 아주 중요한 말씀이다, “여호와 하나님이 땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고 생기를 그 코에 불어넣으시니 사람이 생령이 되니라.” 어떤 학자들은 여기에 나오는 “생기”를 넣었다는 말은 단순히 호흡을 넣어서 생물이 되었다 라는 해석을 한다. 저는 개인적으로 그것은 참으로 무책임한 성경해석이라 생각한다. 사람들을 다른 짐승들과 같이 숨을 쉬는 동물로 만들었다는 뜻이라면 그 사실이 뭐가 그렇게 중요해서 이렇게 기록 하셨겠나. 여기서 말하는 생기는 하나님의 영인 성령을 말하는것이다. 그래서 하나님의 성령을 가진 인간, 숨을 쉬는 육체를 가진 인간이 되었다는 말이다. 그 증거로 욥기서 33:4에 이야기하고있다, “하나님의 영이 나를 지으셨고 전능자의 기운이 나를 살리시느니라”. 여러분, 창세기 2:7에 나오는 생기는 원어에 보면 “네솨마” 라고 되어있다. 이 네솨마를 하나님의 성령이라고 말씀 드렸다. 그 이유가, 욥 33:4에 “전능자의 기운이 나를 살리시느니라” 라는 구절에 “네솨마 샤다이” 라고 쓰여있다. 나를 살리는것은 바로 전능자의 기운, 전능자의 성령이다 라는 것을 나타냄을 알수가 있다. 이 말씀이 너무나 중요하기 때문에 성경구절 하나를 더 보겠다. 욥기 32:8 말씀이다, “그러나 사람의 속에는 영이 있고 전능자의 숨결이 사람에게 깨달음을 주시나니.” 여기서 깨달음을 주시는 전능자의 숨결이 있다고 말하고있다. 이 전능자의 숨결이라는 말에 바로 “네솨마 샤다이” 가 사용되었다. 바로 이것이 창2:7에 나타나는 “네솨마” 와 같은 단어이다. 왜 자꾸 이런 말씀 드리나. 하나님께서 땅의 흙으로 사람을 빚으시고 생기를 그 코에 불어넣으셨다. 다시 말씀드리면, 우리 인간은 하나님의 영이 들어와 만들어진 존재 라는 사실이다. 하나님의 영을 소유한 존재가 인간 이라는 사실이다. 하나님이 얼마나 존귀하고 영광스런 분 이신가. 온 우주를 창조하신 이가 바로 하나님이 아니신가. 하나님의 영이 바로 온세상, 모든 만물을 창조하신 삼위일체 하나님 되신다. 그분이 우리에게 들어오셔서 우리와 함께 하도록 만들어진것이 바로 인간이다. 이렇듯 우리는 어마어마하게 존귀한 존재이다. 말 그대로 Precious, 아주 존귀한 존재이다. 그런데 문제가 뭔가. 하나님의 영을 소유한 인간이 어느순간 하나님의 형상을 빼앗겼다는 사실이다. 하나님의 영을 소유한 우리 인간의 존귀함을 알고 사단이 공격해 빼앗았다는 사실이다. 인간이 받을 모든 영광 존귀함을 완전히 빼앗겨 버렸다. 하나님 입장에서는 이것은 도저히 있을수가 없는 이야기이다. 그래서 이사야 48:11 말씀 보면, 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다, “나는 나를 위하며 나를 위하여 이를 이룰 것이라 어찌 내 이름을 욕되게 하리요 내 영광을 다른 자에게 주지 아니하리라.” 하나님께서 도저히 용서하지 못할 일이다. 내가 절대로 빼앗기지 아니하리라 이 말씀이다. 이 사실 때문에 요한복음 1:14 말씀 보면, “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매” 하나님께서 직접 이 땅에 오시는 역사가 일어난것이다. 그래서 이 언약 아래 이스라엘 백성을 택하시고 이 땅에 오시게 되신것이다.
2) 언약 안에서 성취 Fulfillment in the covenant

오셔서 어떠한 일을 하시나. 요한일서 3:8, “죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 마귀는 처음부터 범죄함이라 하나님의 아들이 나타나신 것은 마귀의 일을 멸하려 하심이라.” 하나님께서는 구원받은 우리가 마귀에게 속고 자꾸 당하는 모습을 절대로 기뻐하지 않으신다. 그것은 오히려 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하는것이다. 하나님의 아들이 나타나신것은 마귀의 일을 멸하려 하심이다. 잘 아시는 마가복음 10:45 말씀, “인자의 온 것은 섬김을 받으려 함이 아니라 도리어 섬기려 하고 자기 목숨을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려 함이니라.” 하나님의 영광을 위해서, 하나님의 자존심을 위해서는 우리 인간을 살려야 하는것이다. 그런데 하나님의 형상을 부여받은 인간이 죄를 지은것이다. 주님께서는 직접 이 땅에 오셔서 죄값을 치루기위해 십자가에 못 박혀 돌아가셨다. 요한복음 14:6, “예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라” 예수님이 아니시면 이 일을 행할 이가 없다라는 사실을 말씀 하시는것이다. 딱 한가지 조건, 구원받을수 있는 조건이다, “영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니” (요1:12). 이 말은 이제는 주님께서 영으로 아주 네 속에 친히 들어가 계시겠다 이 말이다.
3. 미래를 위한 영적 준비 Spiritual preparation for the future
1) 나를 찬송하게 하려 함이니라 They shall declare My praise

그게 바로 우리가 세번째로 받을 말씀, 미래를 위한 영적 준비의 필요성을 말하는것이다. “이 백성은 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니 나의 찬송을 부르게 하려 함이니라.” 우리가 창조되고 구원 받은것은 모두 하나님을 찬송하게 하기 위해서이다. 어떻게 찬송하는가? 우리 존재 가치를 먼저 확실히 발견해야한다. 요일 5:12, “아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라.” 예수님을 영접하면 승리하신 그리스도께서 친히 영으로 우리 속에 임재 하신다는 사실을 이야기 하고있다. 우리 안에 계신분은 바로 그리스도이다. 하나님의 아들, 그리스도께서 계신것이다. 그 그리스도는 어떤분인가. 요:14, “그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라.” 우리 안에 계신 이는 생명되신 그리스도이시고 또 사람들에게 빛을 주시는 이시다 이 말이다. 우리 안에 있는 생명이 무엇이고 빛이 무엇인지 우리가 정확하게 붙잡는것이 중요하다. 그 빛을 히브리서 1:3에 자세히 설명하고있다, “이는 하나님의 영광의 광채시요 그 본체의 형상이시라”. 그리스도가 하나님의 영광의 광채라는 말이다. 하나님은 원래 빛되신 그 분이시다. 그런데 영광의 본체 라고도 되어있다. 전기불 수준이 아니라, 달빛, 햇빛 자체도 하나님의 영광에 비쳐서 나오는 빛이며, 그 어마어마한 모든 빛의 근본 되시는 이 라는 말이다. 이 빛의 광채를 체험했던 사도바울은 만나자마자 말에서 떨어져 눈이 멀어버렸다. 죄인들은 감히 이 빛 앞에 설수도 없는것이다. 그냥 그 순간 즉시 죽음을 당할수 밖에 없는 빛이다. 그러한 엄청난 그리스도의 빛이 내 속에 있다는 사실을 꼭 붙잡아야 한다. 그리고 그 사실을 누려한다. 그래서 이사야서 60:1에 이야기 하고 있는것이다, “일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라”. 여러분, 우리에게 이미 생명의 빛이 임했다. 성삼위 하나님의 영광의 빛이 우리에게 임하여 있는것이다. 이것으로 빛을 발하는것이 하나님께 찬송을 드리는것이다. 롬 10:15, “보내심을 받지 아니하였으면 어찌 전파하리요 기록된바 아름답도다 좋은 소식을 전하는 자들의 발이여 함과 같으니라”. 하나님께서 가장 기뻐하시는것이 바로 이 아름다운 좋은 소식을 전하는 자들의 발길이다. 하나님께서 얼마나 기뻐하시는지 아름답다 칭하신것이다. 생명구원 하러 가는, 전도의 발길을 가장 기뻐 하신다. 이 빛이 비치게 되면 흑암이 무너지기 때문에 그 발길을 너무나도 기뻐 하시는것이다.
2) 미래를 위한 영적 준비 Spiritual preparation for the future

우리가 이 빛을 발하는 준비를 해야하는것이다. 이것은 굉장히 중요한 말씀이다. 우리가 소유한 엄청난 영광의 빛을 어떻게 발할것인가 이것이다. 첫째가 바로 갈2:20 이다, “내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라.” 미래를 위한 영적준비 중 가장 중요한것이 바로 나는, 나의 모든것은 십자가에 못박혀 죽임 당했다는 사실이다. 나의 과거, 운명, 원죄, 자범죄, 조상죄, 마귀의 권세까지 완전히 십자가에 못박힘 당해 죽어버렸다. 다시 말씀드리면 주님께서 완전히 십자가에서 끝내셨다는것을 말하는것이다. “나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는것이 중요하다. 두번째, 로마서 12:1 이다, “그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적 예배니라.” 저번에 수요예배때 잠깐 말씀드렸다. 너희 몸을 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라는 말이 무슨 말인가. 우리는 다 죽었음에도 불구하고 나의 과거의 각인, 뿌리, 체질된것이 그대로 살아있는게 많다. 이것을 완전히 산제물로 예배 통해 하나님께 드리라 이 말이다. 그렇게 될때 하나님께서 큰 영광 받으실줄 믿는다. 그리고 해야할것, 준비할것 세번째는 사도행전 1:14이다, “여자들과 예수의 어머니 마리아와 예수의 아우들과 더불어 마음을 같이하여 오로지 기도에 힘쓰더라.” 언약을 잡고 전혀 기도에 힘쓰게 될때 하나님께서 성령 충만한 역사를 허락하실줄 믿는다. 올해는 우리가 이 축복 정말 받아야할줄 믿는다.
결론
사 Isaiah 43:19
말씀 맺겠다. 이사야 43:19 말씀이 반드시 성취될줄 믿는다, “보라 내가 새 일을 행하리니 이제 나타낼 것이라 너희가 그것을 알지 못하겠느냐 반드시 내가 광야에 길을 사막에 강을 내리니.” 우리가 이번에 주신 이 말씀을 굳건하게 붙들고 언약으로 삼고 기도하게 될때, 분명히 우리 앞에 새 일을 행하시는 놀라운 역사가 나타나게 될줄을 믿는다. 여러분 개인과, 가정과, 교회와, 사업장, 렘넌트들의 학업에 새 일을 행하시는 놀라운 역사가 나타나게 될줄을 믿는다.
They Shall Declare My Praise (Isaiah 43:21)

“This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.”
Introduction
It is a new year and we are about to make new decisions. Every time a new year comes around, we start a new start and there are many times when the new year comes to an end but we feel like we didn’t bear as many fruits as we wanted to. Why is that? I found my answer within 25 hours. What is that? There are things within my past that I cannot change and I cannot come out of my old lifestyle. The Israelites received so many blessings when they came out of Egypt but the Israelites were still stuck within their old frames in Egypt that they ended up failing. From here, we must hold onto that we received salvation from God’s grace and we must challenge with faith. In other words, we must enter into God’s time schedule. We need to become God’s. In order to do this, we must have spiritual preparation. Through meditation, pulpit forum, and prayer we must prepare spiritually. How much we are prepared spiritually, that will determine how much answers we will receive. Hold onto this covenant and receive great answers. God has given us an important message. What we must hold onto is what God has given to us today.
1. The Grace You Received is Your Platform
1) This people
Who are the people referring to? In order to know this, we must look at Isaiah 43:1 “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.' ” - The people is referring to the people of Jacob, the people of Israel, and the chosen people of God. The people of Israel are the people of the covenant. What is the covenant? People of the covenant are referring to the people who held onto the covenant of Genesis 3:15. In other words, those who will fulfill the covenant of Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”. What is the reason why God chose Abraham? To fulfill this covenant. The reason why God chose Israel, Abraham, and Jacob was to send Jesus Christ through this lineage. They were within this covenant. Those who are within the covenant, God told them not to be afraid and spoke of Isaiah 43:1. God needed to send Jesus Christ so He chose these people as His people so His chosen people were very important. That is why God said that they were His and told them not to be afraid. This is not only talking about the Israelites but also those who are within the covenant, which is you and me. God said that we are His; this is referring to the people of the covenant.
2) You (the People of the Covenant) are Mine
God has so much concern towards those who have the covenant. That shows in Isaiah 43:2-4 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4 Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.” - When they passed through the Red Sea, the water couldn’t overcome the Israelites. Why was that? It was because God’s covenant was absolute. Jesus Christ had to come absolutely so the water could not overcome the Israelites. We saw the same scenario within Daniel and his 3 friends in the fire. Those who are within God’s covenant, God will absolutely protect them. What we must hold onto is that if we are within God’s covenant, then great blessings and protection will be upon us.
Isaiah 43:3 - What kind of God is our God? God is the God of those who hold onto the covenant of Jesus Christ. They continued to talk about the blessings you will receive when you hold onto the covenant of Christ. The people who hold onto the covenant of Christ and the covenant of the blood are considered so important that in order to show the blood of Christ and the covenant of God, Egypt, a righteous nation was given as a ransom. In order to relay the covenant of Christ, God poured down the 10 plagues onto Egypt. It was to the point where all of the first born of every family and livestock had to die. The evidence of that was to show the covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ. The center of all history and events is Jesus Christ. This is so important.
It shows how important it is in Isaiah 43:4 - This is the identity that we have received. This is our platform that we must enjoy. All things regarding our life and prayer must start from here. God is so happy when we hold onto God’s covenant and hold onto the prayer topic of saving 5,000 tribes. It shouldn’t end here. The grace that we have received within our field, we must enjoy.
2. The Grace that is Already Upon You is Your Enjoyment
1) Whom I have created for My glory
God has formed us for Him, what does this mean? In order to understand this, we must look at Isaiah 43:7 “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him. ” - The reason why God saved us was so that we can give glory to God. We were created for God’s glory. This is why we were saved. Why is that? Originally we were created in God’s image but we lost hold of that.
Genesis 2:7 “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” - This is an important Bible verse. From here, mankind were created with dust and were breathed with life. Many theologians theorize that life was inserted into mankind and we were created as a living being that breathes, which makes us no different from an animal. If we were created just like animals, how are we any different? This breath of life means that we have received God’s Spirit. Mankind has received God’s Spirit, the breath of life.
The evidence is seen in Job 33:4, 32:8 “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life. 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.” - The origin of the breath of life in Genesis 2:7 is referring to the Spirit of God. Job 33:4 says the breath of the Almighty gives us life, which is the same thing, the Spirit of God. The breath is not just life like any living being but this is referring to the Spirit of God. This is so important.
I will explain this with another Bible verse with Job 32:8 - The breath that gives us understanding, this is all referring to the Spirit of God. Why am I telling you all of these Bible verses? God has breathed into our nostrils, the breath of life and the Spirit of God onto us. God’s Spirit entered into us and formed us, human beings. We are mankind who possess the Spirit of God. God is such a glorious and precious being; He is the being who created the entire universe and all things. This being is within us and is with us, and created us; therefore, we are tremendous beings as a result. We are so precious. Mankind are so precious. The problem is that mankind who possess the Spirit of God, they have been stolen of God’s Spirit, the breath of life. Satan who knew of this fact, Satan stole this from mankind. All of the glory and blessings that was within mankind, that was also taken away. This is something that could not take place at all in front of God and considered unforgivable to God.
That is why God said in Isaiah 48:11 “For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.” - This was an event that was unforgivable to God and God said that He will not forget this.
John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” - That is why God chose the Israelites inside of His covenant and came to this world.
2) Fulfillment in the covenant
What did God do when He came to the world? He came to do 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” - God is never happy when mankind are deceived and attacked by Satan. That is putting profanity onto God’s name and presence.
Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” - For God’s glory and His pride, God had to save us. Mankind who received God’s image, this mankind sinned. God came Himself to Earth and bestowed His grace upon us, and died on the cross on our behalf.
John 14:6, 1:12 “Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” - If it is not Jesus Christ, no one else can do this for us.
There is just one condition on how we can be saved and that is John 1:12. What does this mean? Jesus Christ is saying that He will enter into us; the Spirit of God will enter into us.
3. Spiritual Preparation for the Future
1) They shall declare My praise
We must start our spiritual preparation. Isaiah 43:21 - The reason why we were created was to give glory and praise to God. How can we give praise to God? We must be aware of and discover our identity.
1 John 5:12 “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” - If we accept Jesus Christ, the victorious Christ will come inside of us; His Spirit will come inside of us. The being inside of us is Jesus Christ, He is the Son of God. What kind of Christ is He?
John 1:4 “ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” - The being inside of us is the Spirit of life and the light of life. What is this life and light inside of us? We must hold onto this.
This light is seen in Hebrews 1:3 “Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” - From here, this Christ is the brightness of God’s glory. God is light, which means that He is the brightness of His glory and the light itself. That is why the moment Apostle Paul saw Jesus Christ, he fell off his horse and couldn’t stand the brightness of God’s glory and presence. But that great light and glory of God is inside of us, we must enjoy this.
Isaiah 60:1 “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” - We already received the light of life within our life. We already possess the light of the triune God. With this light, we can give glory and praise to God.
Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - What makes God most happy is when we testify and shine the light of God. God said this is the most beautiful. When we shine this light, darkness is broken so that is why this makes God most happy. We must prepare to shine this light. We must make three spiritual preparations.
2) Spiritual preparation for the future
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” - For the future, we must make the spiritual preparation and the most important preparation is understanding is that we have also died on the cross. All of our sin, past, ancestral sins, and the power of Satan have all died on the cross. In other words, we are believing that Jesus Christ finished everything on the cross. It is so important for us to live within Christ.
Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” - I told you this before but we must give ourselves to God as a living sacrifice. What does this mean? We have died but our past, imprints, nature, and roots are still intact within our lives. We must give all of this as a sacrifice to God then God will give you the greatest glory.
Acts 1:14 “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.” - Hold onto the covenant and when you go all inside of prayer, then God will give you the greatest blessing of the covenant. Truly hold onto this blessing.
Conclusion
Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” - When we hold onto God’s covenant and pray with it, then God promised that He will do a new thing in our lives. Within our lives, businesses, fields, and schools, God will do a great thing and a new thing within it.
