We went to the sicence building. My partner evangelized to one person there. Then we went to the dual credit building and met a student. When I looked at her survey, I was confused. She said her spiritual life is important, but in her spiritual jounrey she feels empty. She circled the Christ for the third question. She said the meaning of Christ was the light of the world. She seemed interested and focused listening to me. I think the basic salvation message cleared up who Jesus Christ is. She and her family are not religious. She did the acceptance prayer. She was not interested in the Bible study. She gave her phone number and email. I prayed that the darkness would be broken down, and I was thankful to meet Christina today.
We went to the science building we met a high school junior. His parents are not religious. His grandmother tried taking him to church, but it did not impact him. I shared the gospel and he did the acceptance prayer. He did not give us any of his information.
First, we talked to a girl. I asked a couple questions to prepare for the conversation I would have with her. She was already a Christian. I asked her the meaning of Jesus and Christ and where God is. She said God is in heaven and that Jesus came to save us from our sins and bring us blessings. I shared the five-minute message briefly. I could tell that she was listening because when I asked her where God is after explaining everything, she said God is in our hearts. My partner asked her if she was interested in personal Bible study. She was interested in it. She said her younger sister goes to another school. My partner gave her the contact information. We also talked to a man in the library. He seemed to be in his 50s. He listened to what we shared. He used to go to church but not anymore. He knows about the bible but said forgot a lot. Amy said that there was difference between knowing Jesus and confessing him as Lord. He said he could say that Jesus is his Lord but he said it would mean different than what you want.
My partner shared the gospel with a girl. He did a phenomenal job. I think a girl accepted it purely. I asked her if anyone is nurturing and she said no, and that she would be interested in that. We exchanged information. She comes to campus almost every day at different times. Her younger sister is a freshman at the other school, not as involved with Christian activities. We'll see if she reaches out to her. I will follow up wit her after this. I want to set it down and say at a certain time. I won't be able to meet up with her.
When I was sharing the gospel with the man, it seemed like it was clicking, but it wasn't. He has too much knowledge and thought and is lost in that. He believes this and that are all right. I don't think the gospel really touched his heart. I think he was seeing this in a philosophical way. I think knowing it and him being the master are two different things. Satan knows about this better than we do, I said. I asked if he wanted to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and he basically said no. Hopefully, the tract and the conversation will be a seed for him later in his life, and we asked couple more people. The girl was busy with homework. Two of the guys we met, one of them was atheist and the other was busy.
