Went to all buildings. Spoke to two people. One from India, maybe. Told her we were there to share the gospel, refused a tract.
The second person Jose, business major, wasn't interested in hearing the gospel and shared the tract. David shared testimony and challenged him to think about the purpose of life.
Impressed with my partner about how she approached people
Jose wanted to go somewhere to graduate. I'm going to be a physician, but seeing people dying made me question life. I told him to challenge himself about the purpose of his drive. Whether it's brief or not, a lot of times the little conversation can change a life. Praying and hoping that God can change his heart
My partner and I stayed here. The atmosphere was weird. Everyone left except the first person. They had to study or had to go take a test.
The first lady understood but she could only communicate in Spanish. She said she understood because the tract had content that she knew. She knew where God was, in her heart. Sarah just told her what part to read to accept Christ.
The first person was a girl waiting for her sister to finish her test. She was an elementary school student. She looked like a high school student. She accepted. I prayed for both of the people Sarah shared the gospel with. I prayed that FOD would break and angels would work. She went to a Christian Church. Sarah shared the three minute salvation message.
The more I think about evangelizing, a lot of people say that believe in Jesus, but they don't know what salvation is. Not just to share the gospel but to really give the answers to the people.
The next person, who is the same age as I am, wants to study sonology. She is here for basics. They paid attention really well to the message. She wants to do Bible study here (*yet to be confirmed).
I felt rejected by the people here. I should have been more deliberate about sharing the gospel with some people. This is my first time here at Brookhaven.
We will come again next month, and our goal is to build a system here. I am hoping that Bible study with a student can take place, so that through her, a system can be established and that the darkness can be broken down within this school. That Bible study can help break down the forces and darkness working.
